Referring to fig. 1 to 4, the insulation board cutting apparatus includes a console 10, a pressing pad 20, a cutter frame 30, and a cutting assembly 40, wherein the pressing pad 20 is mounted on the console 10, the cutter frame 30 spans the pressing pad 20 and the console 10, and the cutting assembly 40 is mounted on the cutter frame 30.
The operation table 10 comprises a platform 11, a main lug 12, a main upright 13, auxiliary lugs 14, auxiliary uprights 15 and a cutting groove 16, wherein a pair of main lugs 12 are arranged on two sides of the front half part of the platform 11, the main lug 12 is provided with the main upright 13, a pressing pad 20 is arranged on the main upright 13, a pair of auxiliary lugs 14 are arranged in front of the main lug 12, the auxiliary lugs 14 are provided with the auxiliary uprights 15, and a tool rest 30 is arranged on the auxiliary uprights 15. Between the main lug 12 and the auxiliary lug 14 is a cutting slot 16, the cutting slot 16 being adapted to receive a cutter 47.

The chuck 36 in this embodiment is schematically illustrated and those skilled in the art will readily appreciate from the teachings of the drawings and description in connection with the specification that suitable chucks are commercially available for use in this application. Bearings may be added between the collet 36 and the gear shaft of the drive gear 43 to facilitate rotation, if desired. The top end of the gear shaft of the driving gear 43 is provided with a hexagon head 44, and the hexagon head 44 is convenient for driving the driving gear 43 to rotate and driving the screw 41 to rotate by using a power tool. The sliding block 45 is arranged on the screw 41, the limiting block 46 is arranged below the sliding block 45, the width of the limiting block 46 is equal to that of the through groove 32, the limiting block 46 is embedded into the through groove 32 and can slide in the through groove 32, and relative rotation cannot occur between the limiting block 46 and the through groove 32. A cutter 47 is arranged at the bottom of the limiting block 46, and the cutter 47 moves along the screw 41 transversely along with the movement of the sliding block 45.
