Please refer to the first embodiment shown in fig. 1 to 13:
referring to fig. 1 and 5, the foldable display device of the present application includes a foldable board 10, a folding mechanism 20 fixed to a first surface of the foldable board 10, and a foldable screen 30 attached to a second surface of the foldable board 10.
With continued reference to fig. 2 to 7, the folding plate 10 of the present application includes a first plate portion 11, a second plate portion 12, and a plurality of bars 13 located between the first plate portion 11 and the second plate portion 12.
Referring to fig. 3 and 4, the strip 13 includes a plurality of narrow strips 133 at a middle portion thereof, and a plurality of first and second wide strips 131 and 132 respectively disposed at both sides of the narrow strips 133. The strip-shaped body 13 and the strip-shaped body 13 are independent from the first and second plate parts 11, 12, and have a certain gap, and the gap width is 0.10-0.12mm, preferably 0.11 mm. The narrow strip-shaped body 133 has a width of 0.2-0.6mm, preferably 0.4mm, and a thickness of 0.1-0.4mm, preferably 0.2 mm. The first and second wide strips 131, 132 have a width of 1.2-1.8mm, preferably 1.5mm, and a thickness equal to the thickness of the narrow strip 133. The plurality of strips 13 are bonded into a whole through glue 134, the glue 134 is located on the first surfaces of the plurality of strips 13 and forms a certain thickness on the first surfaces, the thickness of the glue 134 located on the first surfaces of the strips 13 is about 0.1-0.3mm, the glue 134 further extends into the space between the plurality of strips 13, and the depth of the glue 134 extending into the space between the strips 13 is one third to one half of the thickness of the strips 13.

When bent, the thickness of the folding screen 30 is about 0.5 mm. As the folding screen 30 is bent, the length of the outer arc surface of the folding area 33 of the folding screen 30 becomes longer, and the length of the inner arc surface becomes shorter by compression. Although the variation in the length of the inner and outer arcs is small, the folding plate 10 must be adapted to the variation in the length of the inner and outer arcs, or the folding plate 10 may press the folding screen 30 to damage the folding screen 30.
As shown in fig. 5 to 7, in the process that the strip-shaped bodies 13 of the folding plate 10 are bent along with the folding screen 30, the angles of the strip-shaped bodies 13 independently change, gaps exist between the strip-shaped bodies 13, gaps between the strip-shaped bodies 13 corresponding to the inner arc surfaces of one side of the folding screen 30 are reduced after folding, and the flexible glue 134 in the gaps between the outer arc surfaces of the strip-shaped bodies 13 expands to increase the gaps so as to adapt to the change of the lengths of the outer arc surfaces of the folding screen 30 without squeezing the outer arc surfaces of the folding screen 30. Because the narrow strip-shaped body 133 corresponds to the position of the folding area 33 of the folding screen 30 where the folding angle is the largest, the narrow strip-shaped body 133 can be slightly changed to adapt to the length change caused at the position of the folding area 33 where the folding angle is the largest.

Preferably, two sets of folding mechanisms 20 are fixed on the folding plate 10 along the same linear direction, and three or four folding mechanisms 20 may be optionally provided if the length of the foldable display device is too long.
The specific operation principle of the foldable display device of the embodiment is as follows:
when the folding screen 30 is folded together with the folding plate 10, the folding area 33 of the folding screen 30 is bent with the bar-shaped body 13 of the folding plate 10, and the change of the bar-shaped body 13 is as described above and will not be described herein. Describing the matching movement of the folding mechanism 20 in detail, the pair of spindles 24 rotate in opposite directions with respect to each other, and the gears 26 respectively fixed to the pair of spindles 24 rotate with the opposite rotation of the spindles, so that the pair of gears 26 can control the balance of the folding movement and prevent the folding screen 30 from being damaged due to irregular rotation. During the rotation, the sliding shaft 223 of the transmission mechanism 22 moves in the arc-shaped track 213 of the fixed seat 21, and the arc-shaped track 213 is configured to conform to the optimal folding path of the folding area 33 of the folding screen 30. When the rotary control members 281 and 282 are in an initial state, the clamping blocks 2822 of the pair of fixing members 282 are respectively clamped in the pair of first clamping openings 2815 and 2817 of the movable member 281, when the rotary control members 281 and 282 are rotated, the fixing members 282 rotate along with the spindle 24, the clamping blocks 2822 pass through the top ends of the first protruding sheets 2812 and the second protruding sheets 2816 and 2818 along the inclined wall structures 28122 of the first protruding sheets 2812 and the third protruding sheets 2813 and then are clamped in the second clamping openings 2816 and 2818, and a hand feeling or a sound for prompting that the rotary control members are folded in place is generated; at this time, the movable element 281 compresses the spring 27 backward under the pushing of the fixing element 282 along the inclined wall structure 28122 to deform the spring 27, and then the movable element 281 causes the catching block 2822 to catch into the second catching openings 2816 and 2818 under the restoring force of the spring 27. When the folding display device needs to be unfolded, the display device can be reversely rotated, and the description is omitted here. Vertical wall structures 28121 are provided on both sides of one of the first tabs 2812 to make the folded display device non-rotatable in the other direction to prevent the device from being damaged by incorrect rotation.
