Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of air filters of automobile engines, in particular to an air filter capable of quickly updating a filter element without disassembly.
Background
A large amount of air is required to enter an engine cylinder when the traditional internal combustion type automobile engine performs work through combustion, if gas entering the cylinder contains impurities such as dust and particles, the output power of the engine can be reduced, meanwhile, abrasion between a piston and a cylinder wall can be aggravated, and the service life of the engine is influenced. To avoid this, an air cleaner is usually installed at the engine intake to filter air. Although the air filter can well filter impurities in air, the dust content of the filter element can gradually rise along with the prolonging of the service life, and when a certain amount of dust is reached, the air filter cannot normally work, so that the output power and the service life of an engine are influenced, and therefore the filter element in the air filter needs to be replaced regularly to maintain the efficient work of the air filter and the engine.
Conventional air cleaners typically include two parts, a filter element and a housing, which are typically simply joined together, i.e., the filter element is simply secured within the housing, and the housing is also simply enclosed around the filter element. When the filter element needs to be replaced, the closed housing is detached firstly, the filter element is detached, then a new filter element is replaced and installed, and finally the closed housing is installed. The traditional filter element replacing process is complicated and inconvenient, the air inlet of the engine can be exposed to the atmospheric environment when the filter element is replaced, and impurities in the air can enter the engine in the replacing process, so that the engine is damaged.

Further, the housing comprises a middle housing, a front housing and a housing rear cover; the front end of the middle housing is hermetically connected with the front housing, and the rear end of the middle housing is hermetically connected with the housing rear cover; the partition plate is arranged on the inner side of the middle housing; the filter element storage chamber is arranged between the front housing and the partition plate, and the filter element working chamber is arranged between the housing rear cover and the partition plate; the air outlet is arranged at the front end of the front housing, the air inlet is arranged on the side surface of the middle housing, and the side surface is positioned at the working chamber of the filter element.
Furthermore, a filter element connecting piece is arranged at the position where the front-end pipe orifice of the filter element is communicated with the air outlet in a sealing way, and the filter element is communicated with the air outlet in a sealing way through the filter element connecting piece.
Furthermore, a pressure plate fixing device is arranged on the scroll, the rear end pipe orifice of the filter element is pressed and sealed by the pressure plate fixing device, and the rear end of the filter element is fixedly connected with the scroll through the pressure plate fixing device.

Referring to fig. 2, a partition plate 5 is arranged in an inner cavity of the housing 1, the partition plate 5 is perpendicular to a central axis of the housing 1, an outer edge of the partition plate 5 is fixedly connected with an inner wall of the housing 1, the inner cavity of the housing 1 is divided into a front filter element storage chamber 7 and a rear filter element working chamber 8 by the partition plate 5, a dividing hole 501 is formed in the middle of the partition plate 5, and the filter element storage chamber 7 is communicated with the filter element working chamber 8 through the dividing hole 501; the front end of the housing 1 is provided with an air outlet 10, the rear end of the housing 1 is sealed, the side surface of the housing 1 is provided with an air inlet 11, and the side surface of the housing 1 is positioned at the filter element working chamber 8.
The encloser 1 specifically comprises a middle encloser 101, a front encloser 102 and an encloser rear cover 103, wherein the front end of the middle encloser 101 is detachably and hermetically connected with the front encloser 102, the rear end of the middle encloser 101 is detachably and hermetically connected with the encloser rear cover 103, and the two sealing connections are specifically realized in the following modes: the two end faces of the joint are respectively provided with a sealing ring groove corresponding to each other, a sealing ring is embedded between the two sealing ring grooves, the peripheries of the two ends of the joint are correspondingly provided with eight lugs 104 protruding outwards, the lugs 104 are provided with bolt holes, bolt and nut connecting pieces with corresponding quantity are arranged in the bolt holes of the two corresponding lugs 104 in a penetrating mode and fastened, and the two sealing ring grooves clamp the middle sealing ring tightly, so that the sealing connection is realized.

Referring to fig. 2, the main body of the scroll 3 is arranged in the filter element working chamber 8, two ends of the scroll 3 are rotatably connected to the housing 1, and are specifically connected to the middle housing 101 and located in the filter element working chamber 8, wherein one end of the scroll extends to the outside of the housing 1 to form a driving end 9, the other end of the scroll is rotatably connected with a circular counter bore formed in the inner side of the middle housing 101, and an elastic plastic gasket is placed between the end surface of the end and the bottom surface of the counter bore.
Referring to fig. 2 and 3, the motor 4 is mechanically connected with the driving end 9 by a flange or a key, a cotter pin is arranged on the driving end 9, and a filter element renewing button is arranged on the motor.
Referring to fig. 2, the blocking pipe 6 is arranged in the filter element storage chamber 7 of the housing 1, the front end of the blocking pipe 6 is fixedly communicated with the air outlet 10, the rear end of the blocking pipe 6 extends into the housing 1 to the separation hole 501, the front end of the filter element support pipe 12 is fixedly sleeved on the blocking pipe 6, the rear end of the filter element support pipe 12 extends into the filter element working chamber 8 and is close to the reel 3, a gap through which the filter element 2 can pass must be kept between the filter element support pipe 12 and the separation hole 501, and the pipe wall of the filter element support pipe 12 is air permeable. The filter element 2 is sleeved on the filter element support tube 12, so that the inner space of the filter element 2 is continuous and complete from the air outlet 10 to the fixed connection part with the scroll 3, and the filtering effect of the filter element 2 is improved.
Referring to fig. 2, the filter element 2 is made of a flexible material, the filter element 2 is in a long tubular shape after being completely unfolded, the filter element 2 is sleeved outside the filter element support tube 12, a front end tube opening of the filter element 2 is in sealed communication with the air outlet 10, a filter element connecting piece is arranged at the sealed communication position and is an annular component with a cylindrical cross section, the filter element 2 is in sealed communication with the air outlet 10 through the filter element connecting piece, a rear end tube opening of the filter element 2 penetrates through a gap between the filter element support tube 12 and the separation hole 501 and then extends into the filter element working chamber 8, a pressing plate fixing device for pressing bolts and nuts is arranged on the scroll 3, the rear end tube opening of the filter element 2 is pressed and sealed by the pressing plate fixing device and is fixedly wound and connected with the scroll 3 through the pressing plate fixing device, and the middle section of the filter element 2 is stored in the filter element storage chamber 7 in an orderly folded manner.
The air outlet 10 of the housing 1 communicates with an air inlet of an engine (not shown in the drawings).
When the air filter of the embodiment works, air is sucked into the filter element working chamber 8 from the air inlet 11, impurities are filtered out by the sucked air in the filter element working chamber 8 through the filter element 2, then the filtered air passes through the filter element storage chamber 7 and is discharged from the air outlet 10, the air outlet 10 is communicated with an air inlet (not shown in the figure) of an automobile engine, and the filtered air enters the automobile engine. After the filter cartridge 2 in the filter cartridge working chamber 8 is used for a certain period, the filter cartridge renewal button is manually pressed to start the motor 4, the motor 4 drives the reel 3 to wind the used filter cartridge 2 onto the reel 3, and simultaneously, a new filter cartridge 2 is drawn out of the filter cartridge storage chamber 7 and is wound into the filter cartridge working chamber 8, thereby completing the operation of renewing the filter cartridge. Compared with the existing air filter, the air filter has the advantages that an operator does not need to disassemble the shell of the air filter and disassemble and replace the filter element, the filter element updating process can be completed only by pressing the filter element updating button, and the whole operation process is simple and convenient.
Referring to fig. 3, the air cleaner of the present embodiment further includes a dust exhaust pipe 13, the dust exhaust pipe 13 is disposed at a lower portion of the housing 1, and the dust exhaust pipe 13 is provided with a valve. The air filter is difficult to avoid some dust and sundries from being accumulated after being used for a period of time, and the lower part of the housing 1 is provided with the dust exhaust pipe 13 which is used for conveniently cleaning and exhausting the dust and sundries deposited in the inner cavity.
