Abstract

本发明涉及一种在身体保养领域中使用的塑料制品以及一种制造此塑料制品的方法。
例如牙刷便是这种类型的塑料制品。牙刷是大量生产的产品并因而必须能经济地制造。已知用单一品种的塑料制造的牙刷以及用两种塑料成分例如采用双成分压注法制造的牙刷。在后一种情况下牙刷包括两个塑料部分:用第一种塑料(例如聚丙烯)制的第一个塑料部分从牙刷柄一直延伸到刷头并有一些互相连接的槽。用第二种塑料(例如热塑性弹性塑料)制的第二个塑料部分充填在第一个塑料部分的槽中。这两种塑料在两个塑料部分的接触面处连接。与只用一种塑料制的牙刷相比它提供了更多的设计可能性。然而由于这两种塑料在压注过程互相必须连接,因此塑料的选用并因而牙刷的设计受到限制。
这一问题也关系到另一种由至少两个用不同塑料制的部分组成的使用于身体保养领域的塑料制品,例如容器或容器的封盖,它们用于身体保养制剂和物质,或用于医学和牙医制剂。对于这些塑料制品在这两个部分的材料选用上同样受到限制。
本发明的目的是制备一种前言所述类型的塑料制品,其中,在经济地生产的同时允许作多种多样的设计。

按本发明,还提出一种制造所述牙刷的方法,第一步用第一种塑料压注其中一个模制件,接着,在第二步中用第二种在压注过程中不与第一种塑料连接的塑料压注另一个模制件,其中,使用一种耐牙膏腐蚀性的塑料来压注具有刷头的第一模制件,而另一模制件至少构成牙刷手柄一部分,其中一个模制件被另一个模制件按热压配合的方式至少部分围绕,并且使用一种塑料来压注至少构成手柄一部分的第二模制件,这种材料比具有刷头的模制件的塑料的耐牙膏腐蚀性差。
通过令塑料制品的两个部分由至少两个用不同的在压注过程互相不连接的塑料制成的模制件构成,尤其是它们按力封闭和/或形封闭的方式互相连接,为按使用目的设计塑料制品提供了许多可能性。可以采用有不同化学特征的塑料。它们在其结构式及其化学成分方面可以有或多或少显著的差别。在塑料之间的接触面处务必不存在任何例如形式上为桥键或van der Waals力的化学或物理连接。仅仅在模制件之间按优选的热压配合方式构成连接所提供的摩擦力已足以使两个模制件互相牢固地接合。通过借助于两个模制件在接触面处互相啮合部分实施的形封闭连接,防止在收缩过程中两个模制件之间形成间隙,若有这种间隙水和污垢可能侵入,或甚至可能导致断裂。
因此,例如对于牙刷,具有有利特性的塑料可以用在正确的地方。其中一个模制件可例如用聚丙烯制造(聚丙烯便宜、有弹性、耐化学腐蚀,但不完全透明),而另一个模制件例如可以选用苯乙烯-丙烯腈(SAN)(同样便宜、透明、美观)。有利的是支承刷头的模制件用聚丙烯制造,因为聚丙烯耐牙膏中往往有腐蚀性的物质。
有利的是这两种塑料有不同的收缩特性,因为这样能易于获得牢固的热压配合。在这种情况下有利的是,第一步压注用收缩小的塑料制的那个模制件。在第二步中压注用收缩量较大的塑料制的第二个模制件,由此自然而然地获得第二种塑料作用在第一种塑料上的压紧力。

按图1至3,牙刷1有第一模制件2,它在其前部区2a支承一刷头3。用塑料A制造的第一模制件2沿其长度的一段,亦即在其后部手柄区2b,被第二个用塑料B制的模制件4围绕,并与之按热压配合的方式力封闭地连接。塑料A和B涉及在压注过程接触面处互相不连接的塑料。

套管状第二模制件4的前端面8沿牙刷纵向看与第一模制件2的台阶面9相配(图4)。在这里,第二模制件4环状的前部凸起10插入第一模制件2相配的槽11中,由图8尤其可以清楚地看出这一情况。套管状第二模制件4的后端面14与第一模制件2端段15的台阶面16相配。在这里第二模制件4环状的后部凸起17同样插入端段15的相配槽18中。

就两个模制件2、4所用的材料而言,作为第一模制件2用的塑料A可有利地例如选择聚丙烯(PP),而第二模制件4例如可由下列塑料B制成:
苯乙烯-丙烯腈(SAN)及副族,
丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯(ABS)及副族,
聚酰胺(PA)及副族,
聚碳酸酯(PC)及副族,
聚酯(PBT)及副族,或其他透明的与聚丙烯(PP)不连接的塑料。
有关的副族包括属于相应族的塑料。
采用这种材料组合带来突出的优点。因为目前的牙膏往往含有腐蚀性物质,例如薄荷油,所以廉价的塑料例如SAN经常受侵蚀。若支承刷头3的第一模制件2由防腐但不完全透明的材料PP制成,而第二个包含手柄的模制件4用透明但耐腐性较差的SAN制造,则按本发明的这种特殊的设计形式提供了一种能经济地生产的牙刷,它既能耐牙膏的腐蚀性物质,又能具有让人满意的外观美。当然也可以用其他任何耐腐蚀性塑料取代PP,以及例如用上面提及的一种便宜的和因而一般耐腐性较差的塑料代替SAN。
在这种材料组合中,第一步优选地首先借助压注成型制造第二个套管状模制件4。接着,在第二步中压注第一个模制件,在这种情况下在两个模制件2、4的接触区形成已说明的形封闭连接。由于第一模制件2后来压注的材料A(PP)收缩量较大,所以相对于用材料B(例如SAN)制的第二模制件4造成自然的压紧力,以及通过凸起10、17、22、22’与槽11、18、23、23’互相啮合,实现了两个模制件2、4力封闭和形封闭的连接,不会在实际上没有连接的塑料A、B之间形成间隙,要不然水和污垢会侵入其中或甚至可能导致断裂。
作为举例表示和说明了一种由两个模制件2、4组成的牙刷1。完全有可能提出两个模制件的另一种设计。其中一个模制件的套管状设计并不是绝对必需的。
当然,牙刷也可以有多个用压注过程互相不连接的塑料制成的模制件,这些模制件互相形成力封闭和/或形封闭的连接。
取代所说明的热压配合和形封闭连接,各个在压注过程不导致任何材料连接的模制件可按任何其他的方式互相力封闭和/或形封闭地连接。
但由两种或多种塑料成分制的模制件也可以互相力封闭和/或形封闭地连接,其中例如一个模制件的一种(或多种)成分与另一个模制件的一种(或多种)成分不能连接。
图10和11表示了牙刷1’的第二种实施例,它同样有两个用在压注过程互相不连接的塑料A和B制成的模制件32、34。在这里第一个模制件32也构成一个支承刷头3’的牙刷部分(在图10和11中没有表示刷头3’上的刷毛;只能看到用于锚固刷毛束的孔35)。第二个模制件34构成牙刷手柄。它沿其长度的一部分制有一圆柱形孔36,通过它在牙刷手柄内构成了一个向后开口并可借助于盖38封闭的空腔37。第二模制件34优选地用一种至少部分透明或半透明的材料成分例如SAN制造,所以各种起美观作用的东西可以能看得见地装入空腔37内(松散物、液体、粉末、印刷的卷筒等)。盖38可以可拆式或不可拆式地与第二模制件34连接。在可拆式连接的情况下,空腔37内也可以例如装入有用的东西,如牙签或装漱口剂的安瓿或牙膏。

若手柄用透明的SAN制造,那么在这种实施形式中优选地也首先按压注法制造此构成手柄的模制件34,接着压注例如用耐腐蚀的聚丙烯制的支承刷头的模制件32。
不仅牙刷支承刷毛的部分而且手柄都可以有用其他材料成分制成的部分。例如,在模制件34中可制一槽,规定用于由另一种材料成分例如由一种热塑性弹性塑料(TPE)制的拇指垫。
在图12中表示的牙刷与按图10和11的牙刷1’一致,但相对于图10比例放大和局部作了剖切表示(相同的部分用同样的标号表示)。此牙刷1’规定用于置入充填有不同内容的安瓿30,在孔36的前部区内为安瓿设用弹性塑料制的支座46。盖38内部设有弹性的相配支座38’。安瓿30借助这两个支座36、38’既沿径向也沿轴向保持其位置。支座36可例如用与支承刷头3’的模制件32相同的塑料(优选地用PP)制造并与模制件32在同一个步骤内压注(在图12中用47表示为此存在的连接通道)。用相同的塑料以及在同一个步骤中还可以在首先压注的模制件34(例如用SAN制造)内充填一横向孔48,由此在手柄外侧构成拇指垫42。
安瓿30可盛有不同的起美观作用的东西(松散地或飘浮在一种液体内)、液体、粉末等。
如已提及的那样,也可以类似于牙刷由至少两个模制件构成应用于身体保养领域的其他塑料制品,这两个模制件用在压注过程互不连接的不同塑料制造,以及它们互相按力封闭和/或形封闭的方式连接。例如在容器或容器的封盖中,它们用于身体保养制剂和物质,或用于医学和牙医制剂,为了经济地生产同样可以在正确的地方使用具有有利特性的塑料。

Claims (9)

1.牙刷包括一个用耐牙膏腐蚀性的聚丙烯塑料(A)制成的并具有刷头(3)的第一模制件(2;32)和一个至少构成手柄一部分的第二模制件(4;34),其中,这两个模制件(2、4;32、34)用不同的在压注过程互相不连接的塑料制造,其特征为:为了在两个模制件(2、4;32、34)之间构成牢固连接,其中一个模制件(2;32)被另一个模制件(4;34)按热压配合的方式至少部分围绕,并且所述第二模制件(4;34)用比第一模制件(2;32)的塑料(A)的耐牙膏腐蚀性差的苯乙烯-丙烯腈或丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯或聚酰胺或聚碳酸酯或聚酯塑料(B)制成。
2.按照权利要求1所述的牙刷,其特征为:至少在两个模制件(2、4;32、34)接触面的一部分通过这两个模制件(2、4;32、34)的互相啮合部分(10、11;16、17;22、23;22′、23′;40、41)构成形封闭的连接。
3.按照权利要求2所述的牙刷,其特征为:形封闭的连接通过在一个模制件(4;34或2;32)上的凸起(10、17、22、22′、40)和在另一个模制件(2;32或4;34)上的槽(11、18、23、23′、41)互相啮合构成。
4.按照权利要求1至3之一所述的牙刷,其特征为:其中一个模制件(2,4;32,34)设有另一个用热塑弹性体制成的部分。
5.按照权利要求1至4之一所述的牙刷,其特征为:第二模制件(4;34)用一种透明塑料制造。
6.借助压注成型制造按照权利要求1至5之一所述牙刷的方法,其特征为:第一步用第一种塑料(A或B)压注其中一个模制件(2;32或4;34),接着,在第二步中用第二种在压注过程中不与第一种塑料连接的塑料(B或A)压注另一个模制件(4;34或2;32),其中,使用一种耐牙膏腐蚀性的塑料(A)来压注具有刷头(3)的第一模制件(2;32),而另一模制件(4;34)至少构成牙刷手柄一部分(6),其中一个模制件(2;32)被另一个模制件(4;34)按热压配合的方式至少部分围绕,并且使用一种塑料(B)来压注至少构成手柄一部分(6)的第二模制件(4;34),这种材料(B)比具有刷头(3)的模制件的塑料(A)的耐牙膏腐蚀性差。
7.按照权利要求6所述的方法,其特征为:在两种规定用于模制件(2、4;32、34)的塑料(A、B)收缩量不同时,在第一步中压注用收缩量较小的塑料(A或B)制的那个模制件(4;34或2;32)。
8.按照权利要求6或7之一所述的方法,其特征为:第一步用一种透明材料压注至少构成牙刷手柄一部分(6)的模制件(4;34),而接着在第二步中压注支承刷头(3)的模制件(2,32)。
9.按照权利要求8所述的方法,其特征为:在第一步中用苯乙烯-丙烯腈压注至少构成牙刷手柄一部分(6)的模制件(4;34),而接着在第二步中用聚丙烯压注支承刷头(3)的模制件(2,32)。
