Detailed Description
FIG. 1A is a perspective view of a gusset construction in accordance with a first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 1B is a schematic view of the gusset structure of FIG. 1A in conjunction with packaging of the article and pallet. Fig. 1C is an enlarged schematic view of the region a of fig. 1B. Referring to fig. 1A to fig. 1C, the gusset structure 100a of the present embodiment includes a body 110a and an insert 120 a. The body 110a includes a first side plate 112a and a second side plate 114a that are vertically connected. The first side panel 112a has a first inner surface S1, and the second side panel 114a has a second inner surface S2. The insert 120a is disposed on the body 110a and located between the first inner surface S1 of the first side plate 112a and the second inner surface S2 of the second side plate 114 a. In detail, as shown in FIG. 1C, the insert 120a is adapted to be inserted between two stacked articles 140a, 140b such that the corner 142 of the two articles 140a, 140b on the same side contacts the first inner surface S1 and the second inner surface S2 of the body 110a, thereby fixing the gusset structure 100a to the corner 142 of the two articles 140a, 140 b.
More specifically, as shown in fig. 1A, the first side plate 112a and the second side plate 114a are, for example, vertically connected without seams, that is, the body 110a is an integrally formed structure, wherein the first side plate 112a and the second side plate 114a are integrally connected in an L shape. The insert 120a is, for example, seamlessly connected to the first side plate 112a and the second side plate 114a, that is, the body 110a and the insert 120a are integrally formed, wherein the shape of the insert 120a is a triangle, but not limited thereto. Preferably, the thickness of the insert 120a is, for example, between 3 mm and 5 mm. On the other hand, the length of the gusset structure 100a is, for example, between 100 mm and 300 mm, and the material of the gusset structure 100a is, for example, paper or plastic, but not limited thereto. Because the overall height of the stacked articles tends to be higher (e.g., 1 meter in height), and longer gussets are required (e.g., 1 meter in length), the gusset structure 100a of this embodiment can have a shorter length than the longer gussets conventionally used, thereby reducing material costs.
Referring to fig. 1A and fig. 1B, the body 110a has a first end surface S3 and a second end surface S4. The first end surface S3 is located above the insert 120a, and the second end surface S4 is located below the insert 120 a. In other words, the second end S4 is closer to the pallet 160 than the first end S3. Here, the distance between the insert 120a and the first end surface S3 is equal to the distance between the insert 120a and the second end surface S4, but not limited thereto.
When two articles 140a, 140b are disposed on the pallet 160, the insert 120a of the gusset structure 100a of the present embodiment can be inserted between the article 140a and the article 140b, and the gusset structure 100a is fixed at the corner 142 by the weight of the article 140 a. Therefore, extra manpower is not needed to hold the angle plate structure 100a in the packaging process, so that the angle plate structure 100a of the present embodiment has the advantages of convenient operation and reduced manpower cost.
In addition, since the insert member 120a utilizes the gravity of the article 140a to fix the gusset structure 100a between the two stacked articles 140a, 140b, the gusset structure 100a of this embodiment can be arbitrarily placed between the two articles without being used with stacked articles of a specific height, and thus can be flexibly applied to stacked articles of different specifications. In addition, since the dimension of the gusset structure 100a is fixed, there are advantages of easy management and substantial savings in storage and transportation costs.
The pallet 160, the two objects 140a, 140b, and the corner plate structure 100a may be secured together using the straps 150 to bind the pallet 160, the two objects 140a, 140b, and the corner plate structure 100a for ease of shipping or handling. To this end, the packaging of the two items 140a, 140b is completed. It should be noted that the strap 150 is omitted from fig. 1C in order to clearly express the position of the insert 120a in the present case.
It should be noted that the following embodiments follow the reference numerals and parts of the contents of the foregoing embodiments, wherein the same reference numerals are used to indicate the same or similar elements, and the description of the same technical contents is omitted. For the description of the omitted parts, reference may be made to the foregoing embodiments, and the following embodiments will not be repeated.
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a gusset construction in accordance with a second embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a gusset construction in accordance with a third embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 3, the gusset structure 100c of the present embodiment is similar to the gusset structure 100a of FIG. 1A, and the difference therebetween is: the shape of the insert 120c of the present embodiment is embodied as a square.
It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the shape of the inserts 120a, 120b, 120c, as long as the inserts 120a, 120b, 120c can be inserted between two stacked articles 140a, 140b to secure the gusset structures 100a, 100b, 100c to the corners 142 of the two articles 140a, 140b by the weight of the article 140a, and the like.
FIG. 4 is a perspective view of a gusset construction in accordance with a fourth embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 4, the gusset structure 100d of the present embodiment is similar to the gusset structure 100a of FIG. 1A, and the difference therebetween is: the body 110b of the present embodiment includes a first pair of fastening portions 130a, and the first pair of fastening portions 130a are located on the first side plate 112b and the second side plate 114 b. The insert 120d includes a second pair of latch portions 124, wherein the second pair of latch portions 124 protrudes from two sides of the main body 122. The second pair of locking portions 124 respectively lock the first pair of locking portions 130a, so that the insert 120d is disposed on the body 110 b. That is, the insert 120d is embodied to be detachably assembled to the body 110 b. Preferably, one of the first pair of latching portions 130a and the second pair of latching portions 124 is embodied as a latching slot, and the other of the first pair of latching portions 130a and the second pair of latching portions 124 is embodied as a latching block. Here, the first pair of latching portions 130a is embodied as a latch, and the second pair of latching portions 124 is embodied as a latch.
FIG. 5 is a perspective view of a gusset construction in accordance with a fifth embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 5, the gusset structure 100e of the present embodiment is similar to the gusset structure 100d of FIG. 4, and the difference therebetween is: the distance between the insert 120d and the first end surface S3 is not equal to the distance between the insert 120d and the second end surface S4. In detail, the distance between the insert 120d and the first end surface S3 is smaller than the distance between the insert 120d and the second end surface S4. In other words, the distance between the first pair of locking parts 130b of the body 110b and the first end surface S3 is smaller than the distance between the first pair of locking parts 130b and the second end surface S4. In this way, the gusset structure 100e can be applied to the case where the height of the article 140a is smaller than that of the article 140b, and therefore, the gusset structure 100e can be more flexibly applied to stacked articles with different specifications.
FIG. 6 is a perspective view of a gusset construction in accordance with a sixth embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 6, the gusset structure 100f of the present embodiment is similar to the gusset structure 100e of FIG. 5, and the difference therebetween is: the distance of the insert 120d from the first end surface S3 is greater than the distance of the insert 120d from the second end surface S4. In other words, the distance between the first pair of latching portions 130c of the body 110b and the first end surface S3 is greater than the distance between the first pair of latching portions 130c and the second end surface S4. In this way, the gusset structure 100f can be adapted to the situation that the height of the article 140a is greater than the height of the article 140b, and therefore, the gusset structure 100f can be more flexibly applied to stacked articles with different specifications.
In summary, in the design of the gusset structure of the present invention, the gusset structure includes an insert that is inserted between two stacked articles to secure the gusset structure to the corners of the two articles.
