The invention discloses a distribution line insulator with a lightning protection function, relates to the technical field of power grid insulators, and solves the problem that an effective lightning protection measure is lacked because a lightning arrester position is not reserved on a distribution tower in a general distribution line. The peak value of a lightning current wave head flowing through the insulator body is reduced by using an inductance coil arranged in the insulator; then, a resistance valve plate arranged in the insulator is used for conducting the lightning current to the ground; the invention can be used as an insulator, can be used as an arrester for lightning protection, is suitable for a distribution line, and can be used for replacing the arrester under the condition that the arrester is difficult to install.

If the lightning arrester is not installed and used, the distribution line is easy to be struck by lightning and broken and has faults. In a general distribution line, the installation of the lightning arrester is not considered in the design and construction stage, so that the lightning arrester position cannot be reserved on a power distribution tower from the lightning protection angle, and the lightning arrester is difficult to install, operate and maintain in the later stage of lightning protection transformation. Meanwhile, the installation quantity of the equipment is increased, and larger workload is brought to construction and equipment operation and maintenance.
