Novel thermal management system of battery pack
Technical Field
The invention relates to a novel thermal management system of a battery pack.
Background
The battery in the battery pack has the limitation of operating temperature, so that the corresponding heat management device can be designed according to the use environment and the charging and discharging working conditions in the design of the battery pack in order to avoid the efficiency reduction/the service life shortening or the safety problem.
In order to respond to the overheating of the battery, the heat must be well transferred out of the battery pack, but at the same time, the external environment temperature will greatly affect the battery temperature inside the battery pack.
In order to avoid the influence of the external ambient temperature on the battery, it is necessary to provide a heat insulation design for the housing, but this also results in that the battery cannot discharge heat when it is overheated.
Therefore, the battery pack in an environment with a severely changed temperature is difficult to design, and usually needs to be matched with a heat insulation cabinet body or a building and then matched with an air conditioner isothermal control system to ensure the normal operation of the battery pack, so that a large area of space needs to be occupied and a large amount of cost is consumed.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to overcome the defects in the prior art and provides a novel thermal management system for a battery pack.
A novel battery pack thermal management system comprises a battery pack box body, wherein a thermal insulation layer is arranged outside the battery pack box body, a plurality of heat pipes are arranged inside the battery pack box body, one ends of the heat pipes extend out of the outer side of the battery pack box body, and a cutting-off device is arranged in the middle of each heat pipe; the inside of battery package box is equipped with temperature control assembly, and the inside of battery package box and the outside of adiabatic heat preservation all are equipped with temperature sensor.
Preferably, the severable device is a ball valve or other tube valve.
Preferably, the temperature control assembly is a heating element made of thermoelectric material.
Preferably, the outer wall of the heat pipe is connected with the battery pack in the battery pack box body through a heat conduction plate.
Preferably, the heat conducting plate is made of brass.
Has the advantages that:
the battery package is isolated mutually with external environment through adiabatic heat preservation in this scheme to promote the application range of whole battery package, especially can satisfy the normal use of battery package box under colder environment, be unlikely to take place the condition that inside battery package is frostbitten.
When the inside temperature of battery package box is higher, temperature sensor senses inside and outside temperature and has great difference, and inside high temperature, is about to influence the normal during operation of battery package, but opens the cutting device on the heat pipe this moment, through the heat pipe with inside heat fast transfer to external environment in.
When the external environment temperature is too low and the temperature in the battery pack box is about to be lower than the normal use temperature, the cutting device on the heat pipe is turned off, the part of the heat pipe in the battery pack box is disconnected with the part of the heat pipe outside the battery pack box, and at the moment, the whole heat pipe does not have the heat dissipation function any more. And then the power switch is turned on, so that the internal temperature control assembly starts to work, the temperature inside the battery pack box body is raised, and the internal temperature of the battery pack is prevented from being too low.

Detailed Description
For the purpose of enhancing the understanding of the present invention, the present invention will be further described in detail with reference to the following examples and the accompanying drawings, which are only used for explaining the present invention and are not to be construed as limiting the scope of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1, a novel thermal management system for a battery pack comprises a battery pack box body, wherein a thermal insulation layer is arranged outside the battery pack box body, a plurality of heat pipes are arranged inside the battery pack box body, one ends of the heat pipes extend out of the outer side of the battery pack box body, and a cutting device is arranged in the middle of each heat pipe; the cutting device is a ball valve or other pipe valve.
The battery pack box is internally provided with a temperature control assembly which is a heating component made of thermoelectric materials. Temperature sensors are arranged inside the battery pack box body and outside the heat insulation layer.
When the ambient temperature is lower, when the internal temperature detected by the internal temperature sensor and the external temperature detected by the external temperature sensor are higher than a certain value, the switch of the internal temperature control assembly is closed, and the heat pipe switch is opened simultaneously to output the heat in the battery pack to the outside quickly.
When the internal temperature of the battery pack is low, or when the internal temperature and the external temperature of the battery pack are detected by the external temperature sensor and the external temperature sensor to be lower than a certain temperature value, the switch of the external heat pipe is closed, and meanwhile, the switch of the internal temperature control assembly is opened to heat the inside of the battery pack.
The above description is only for the purpose of illustrating the preferred embodiments of the present invention and is not to be construed as limiting the invention, and any modifications, equivalents, improvements and the like that fall within the spirit and principle of the present invention are intended to be included therein.
