Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of local area networks, in particular to a local area network terminal rapid positioning method based on DHCP service.
Background
The dynamic host configuration protocol is a network protocol for a local area network. The method is characterized in that a server controls a range of IP addresses, and a client can automatically obtain the IP address and the subnet mask allocated by the server when logging in the server.
At present, a DHCP server is deployed in each unit local area network, and functions such as terminal domain name service, IP address allocation, IP address lookup and the like can be provided, so that the terminal name and the IP address information can be rapidly found. This technique has the drawback of not being able to locate the network switch where the terminal is located and the location of the network port where the terminal is located.
The switch and the network port where the terminal IP address is located can be found out by manually inputting the command line through the network switch operating system interface, the traditional terminal positioning technology firstly needs to determine the terminal IP address to be found out, find out the department corresponding to the terminal, then find out the core switch corresponding to the department, then log in the core switch to carry out the command line operation, then log in the access switch to carry out the command line operation, the whole process is the manual command line positioning operation, the time for positioning each terminal is at least 15 minutes, and the technology has the defects that:
1. the whole process needs manual operation and manual analysis, and is complicated, long in positioning time and low in efficiency;
2. the requirement on professional technology is high, and the operation can be only performed by professional network management personnel;
