3. The vehicular lamp assembly according to claim 2, wherein the light guide member is a strip-shaped structure, and the optical diffusion member has a groove for receiving the light guide member.

The lamp assembly of claim 3, wherein the lamp assembly is a multi-layer structure, the optically transmissive surface member is disposed on an outermost layer, the optically diffusing material is disposed on a middle layer adjacent the optically transmissive surface member, and the light guide assembly is disposed on an inner layer of the optically diffusing material assembly.
5. The vehicle light assembly of claim 4 wherein the light guide structure and the optical diffuser material are two-piece molded structures.
6. The vehicle light assembly of claim 1 wherein the optically diffusing material is configured to form a light emitting shape and the light directing material is disposed on a surface of the optically diffusing material.
