Abstract
The invention discloses a middle and low voltage cable insulation cutting clamp which comprises a right clamp body and a left clamp body, wherein the right clamp body and the left clamp body are hinged in a crossed manner through a clamp body hinge; a longitudinal fixing groove is formed in the front end of the right forceps body, and a longitudinal blade is arranged at the position corresponding to the left forceps body; the rear end of the left clamp body is provided with a transverse fixing groove, and a transverse blade is arranged at the corresponding position of the right clamp body. The invention provides a novel middle and low voltage cable insulation cutting pliers which is portable in use, convenient to operate, accurate and visual in cutting positioning, stable in quality in the processing process and capable of improving working efficiency.
Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of tools for manufacturing and installing construction of medium and low voltage cable ends, and particularly relates to a pair of medium and low voltage cable insulation cutting pliers.
Background
The middle and low voltage cable is required to be stripped and cut from a semiconductor electric shielding layer and an insulating layer of the cable strictly according to the process size in the early stage of accessory installation and partial test, the traditional operation mode is to use a handheld electrician knife or an art designer knife to primarily scribe the required part according to the size requirement, and then the required part is stripped and pried by using a clamp and a screwdriver. In general, the quality and efficiency of medium and low voltage cables for processing semiconductor electric shielding layers and insulating layers depend on the skill level of operators, and meanwhile, when a handheld electrician knife or an art designer knife is used for primarily scribing the semiconductor electric shielding layers of the cables at positions with required sizes, the insulating layers of the cables are easily scratched due to the fact that the depth of cutting of the knife cannot be effectively controlled, and the cables are scrapped. Meanwhile, in the procedures of stripping and prying by using a clamp and a screwdriver, the cable is easily damaged or other forbidden damaged parts are damaged, so that the required cable end is unqualified in size or the section of the cable is scrapped.
The skilled man therefore has endeavored to develop a working tool for stripping and cutting the semiconductive electric shield and insulation of medium and low voltage cables in order to overcome the above-mentioned problems.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above defects in the prior art, the invention aims to provide a novel middle and low voltage cable insulation cutting pliers which is portable in use, convenient to operate, accurate and visual in cutting positioning, stable in quality in the processing process and capable of improving working efficiency. The clamp comprises a right clamp body and a left clamp body, wherein the middle parts of the right clamp body and the left clamp body are hinged in a crossed manner through a clamp body hinge; a longitudinal fixing groove is formed in the front end of the right forceps body, and a longitudinal blade is arranged at the position corresponding to the left forceps body; the rear end of the left clamp body is provided with a transverse fixing groove, and a transverse blade is arranged at the corresponding position of the right clamp body.
Preferably, the longitudinal fixing groove and the transverse fixing groove are formed by connecting the bottom ends of the two inclined pieces.
Preferably, the center lines of the longitudinal fixing groove and the transverse fixing groove are perpendicular to the right forceps body and the left forceps body respectively.
Preferably, the transverse blade is mounted on the right clamp body through a transverse blade pressing block, and a first transverse blade pressing bolt and a second transverse blade pressing bolt are respectively arranged at two ends of the transverse blade pressing block.
Preferably, the longitudinal blade is mounted at the front end of the left caliper body through a longitudinal blade compression bolt.

Preferably, in specific use, the exposed length of the longitudinal blade relative to the lower end of the left clamp body is more than 3mm of the depth of a required cable cutting layer, and the exposed length of the transverse blade relative to the lower end of the right clamp body is more than 3mm of the depth of the required cable cutting layer.
The invention has the beneficial effects that: the cutting pliers fix a cable by using the fixing groove, and then enable the blade to reach a preset depth in the manual clamping process of the pliers body through the limiting adjusting bolt, and carry out longitudinal cutting or transverse cutting, circumferential rotation and the like so as to achieve the purpose of cutting a semiconductor electric shielding layer and an insulating layer of a medium-low voltage cable. Effectively control cutting depth in the cutting process, do not cause the damage to next layer cable structure, improve and shell the quality of cutting, be convenient for install. The cutting pliers can be used for accurately and quickly operating according to the position of a preset size during circumferential or longitudinal cutting, effectively improving the operating speed and the working efficiency in the working process, and can also be used for performing segmented operation according to the outer diameter of a medium-low voltage cable. The cable insulation cutting pliers are simple in design, scientific in design, convenient and portable, simple to maintain and high in practicability.

as shown in fig. 1: the middle and low voltage cable insulation cutting pliers comprise a right pliers body 9 and a left pliers body 10, wherein the middle parts of the right pliers body 9 and the left pliers body 10 are hinged in a crossed mode through pliers body hinges 12. The front end of the right forceps body 9 is provided with a longitudinal fixing groove 13, the longitudinal fixing groove 13 is perpendicular to the right forceps body 9, and the position corresponding to the left forceps body 10 is provided with a longitudinal blade 2 which forms a cutting combination with the longitudinal fixing groove 13. The rear end of the left forceps body 10 is provided with a transverse fixing groove 11, the transverse fixing groove 11 is perpendicular to the left forceps body 10, and a transverse blade 6 is arranged at the corresponding position of the right forceps body 9 and forms a cutting combination with the transverse fixing groove 11.
The transverse blade 6 is arranged on the right clamp body 9 through a transverse blade pressing block 7, and two ends of the transverse blade pressing block 7 are provided with pressing bolts for fastening.
The longitudinal blade 2 is superposed with the central line of the longitudinal fixing groove 13, and the transverse blade 6 is perpendicular to the central line of the transverse fixing groove 11.
The longitudinal blade 2 is fixed at the front end of the left clamp body 10 through the longitudinal blade compression bolt 1, and the front end of the left clamp body 10 is provided with a limiting adjusting bolt 3 so as to adjust the cutting depth.
The working principle of the low-voltage cable insulation cutting clamp is as follows:
the exposed length of the longitudinal blade 2 relative to the lower end of the left clamp body 10 is 2mm-4mm more than the depth of a required cable cutting layer, the exposed length of the transverse blade 6 relative to the lower end of the right clamp body 9 is 2mm-4mm more than the depth of the required cable cutting layer, and the exposed lengths are all 3mm in the embodiment.
Firstly, a longitudinal blade 2 is arranged in a left clamp body 10 and the longitudinal blade 2 is pressed tightly by adjusting a longitudinal pressing bolt 1, and the exposed length of the arranged longitudinal blade 2 relative to the lower end of the left clamp body 10 is more than 3mm than the depth of a cable layer to be cut. The front end of the cable is used as a trial cutting part, the cable is placed in the longitudinal fixing groove 13, the left clamp body 10 and the right clamp body 9 are held by hands to clamp the cable 14 in the longitudinal fixing groove 13 tightly, the longitudinal blade 2 is adjusted to the required cutting depth by adjusting the limiting adjusting bolt 3 for trial cutting, and whether the cutting depth meets the specified depth is observed after trial cutting. If the requirement is not met, the limit adjusting bolt 3 is adjusted in time, and the locking nut 4 is locked to prevent the size change after the required depth is reached.
The transverse blade 6 is aligned to the position of the size to be cut, the left clamp body 10 and the right clamp body 9 are tightly held by hands to clamp the cable 15 in the transverse fixing groove 11, the limiting adjusting bolt 3 on the left clamp body 10 cannot further penetrate after reaching the limiting position of the right clamp body 9, the transverse blade 6 is installed according to the depth of the semiconductor electric shielding layer, and the exposed length of the transverse blade 6 relative to the lower end of the right clamp body 9 is 3mm more than the depth of the semiconductor electric shielding layer. Then the cable or the cutting pliers are rotated at a constant speed to cut. Because the cable is positioned in the transverse fixing groove 11, the circumferential track operation can be accurately realized under the condition that the left clamp body 10 and the right clamp body 9 are clamped, and the uniform and stable cutting depth is achieved.
When the insulating layer is cut, the insulating layer is cut for many times according to the operation mode because the thickness of the insulating layer is larger in the annular cutting process. When the longitudinal cutting is carried out, after the circumferential cutting is finished, the longitudinal blade 2 is aligned to the insulating layer of the part needing to be removed, the left clamp body 10 and the right clamp body 9 are pressed down forcibly, after the preset depth is reached, the cutting clamp is rotated 180 degrees to the opposite side of the original cutting position, the operation is carried out according to the method, and after the operation is finished, the cable insulating layer can be easily pried by using a screwdriver.
