Please refer to fig. 1, which is a flowchart illustrating a video stream forwarding control method according to an embodiment of the present application, where the video stream forwarding control method may be applied to a network device, such as a routing device, a three-layer switch, and other network devices with three-layer forwarding capability, and as shown in fig. 1, the video stream forwarding control method may include:
for convenience of understanding, the following description will be given taking as an example that the execution subject of steps S100 to S140 is a three-layer switch.
And step S100, monitoring the video stream passing through the network equipment.
In the embodiment of the application, for the message passing through the three-layer switch, the three-layer switch can determine whether the message is a video stream according to the protocol information or/and the port information carried in the message.
Step S110, for any video stream, counting the number of the video streams of the same source of the video stream; and the same source video stream is a video stream with the same source IP address.
In the embodiment of the application, for any video stream passing through the three-layer switch, the three-layer switch can acquire the source IP address and the destination IP address of the video stream, determine whether other homologous video streams exist in the video stream according to the IP address and the destination IP address of the video stream, and count the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream.
For example, if the video stream passing through the triple-layer switch includes 3 video streams with the source IP address IP1 (assume that the video streams a-c are video streams a-c, respectively) and the destination IP addresses are IP 2-IP 4, the number of the common source video streams counted by the triple-layer switch is 3 for the video stream a, the video stream b, or the video stream c.
For any video stream, when there is no other homologous video stream, that is, there is no video stream whose other source IP address is the same as the source IP address of the video and whose destination IP address is different from the destination IP address of the video stream, the number of homologous video streams of the video stream is 1 way.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present application, the destination IP addresses of multiple homologous video streams may be the same (e.g., multiple video streams of the same front-end video capture device (e.g., IPC) requested by the same client), or may be different (e.g., multiple video streams of the same front-end video capture device requested by different clients).
For the convenience of understanding, the following description will be given by taking the example that the destination IP addresses of the same source video stream are different.
Step S120, determining whether the video stream meets a preset priority level adjustment condition according to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream. If yes, go to step S130; otherwise, the current flow is ended.
In the embodiment of the present application, it is considered that, when the number of preview requests for a video stream of a certain video source is increased (that is, the number of homologous video streams corresponding to the video source is increased), the timeliness and the importance of the video stream may be improved.
For example, for a front-end video capture device IPC (Internet Protocol Camera) 1, when only one PC requests a video stream of the IPC, the number of the homologous video streams corresponding to the IPC is 1 channel; when N (N > 1) PCs request the video stream of the IPC, the number of the same source video streams of the same source video stream (the source IP address is the IP address of the IPC1, and the destination IP addresses are the IP addresses of the PCs respectively) corresponding to the IPC is N. When N reaches a certain number, it can be considered that an important event may occur in the area monitored by IPC1 (for example, a traffic accident occurs at an intersection), and at this time, the video stream may be determined as a hot spot video stream (all the homologous video streams of the video stream are taken as the hot spot video stream).
Accordingly, in the embodiment of the present application, in order to ensure that the hot video can be forwarded normally, the three-layer switch may determine the priority of the video stream according to the number of the same-source video streams of the video stream, so as to ensure that the video stream with a larger number of the same-source video streams has a higher priority, so that the video stream can be forwarded preferentially when traffic congestion occurs.
Wherein the priority of the video stream may be positively correlated with the number of homologous video streams of the video stream.
In order to determine the priority of the video stream according to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream, in the embodiment of the present application, a priority adjustment condition (referred to as a preset priority adjustment condition herein) may be preset in the triple-layer switch, so that the triple-layer switch may automatically perform priority adjustment on the video streams whose number of the homologous video streams meets the preset priority adjustment condition according to the preset priority adjustment condition.
Correspondingly, for any video stream, the three-layer switch may determine whether the video stream satisfies a preset priority adjustment condition according to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream, and if so, go to step S130; otherwise, no adjustment is made to the priority of the video stream.
Step S130, adjusting the priority of the video stream.
In this embodiment of the application, when the three-layer switch determines that the video stream meets the preset priority adjustment condition according to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream, the three-layer switch may adjust the priority of the video stream.
In an embodiment of the application, the determining whether the video stream meets the preset prioritization condition according to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream may include:
inquiring the corresponding relation between the number of preset homologous video streams and the priority according to the number of the homologous video streams of the video streams so as to determine the priority corresponding to the number of the homologous video streams of the video streams;
and when the current priority of the video stream is different from the priority corresponding to the number of the video streams which are the same as the video stream, determining that the video stream meets a preset priority adjustment condition.
Accordingly, in this embodiment, the adjusting the priority of the video stream may include:
and adjusting the current priority of the video stream to the priority corresponding to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream.
In this embodiment, in order to implement that the three-tier switch determines the priority of the video stream according to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream, a correspondence relationship between the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream and the priority of the video stream (referred to herein as a correspondence relationship between the number of the preset homologous video streams and the priority) may be set in advance on the three-tier switch.
For example, the correspondence between the preset number of homologous video streams and the priority can be as shown in table 1:
TABLE 1
Number of homologous video streams Priority level
(0,N1] Pri1
(N1,N2] Pri2
Wherein N1 is more than or equal to 1, N2 is more than N1, and Pri2 is higher than Pri 1.
Accordingly, in this embodiment, for any video stream, when the three-layer switch determines the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream, the corresponding relationship between the number of the preset homologous video streams and the priority may be queried according to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream, so as to determine the priority corresponding to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream.
For example, taking the correspondence between the number of the video streams and the priority as shown in table 1 as an example, assuming that the priority determines that the number of the video streams a is N3 paths, and N1 < N3 ≦ N2, the triple layer switch may determine that the priority of the video stream a (and other video streams of the video stream a) is Pri 2.
In this embodiment, when the three-tier switch determines the priority corresponding to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream, the current priority of the video stream may be compared with the priority corresponding to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream, and if the current priority of the video stream is different from the priority of the homologous video streams of the video stream, the three-tier switch determines that the video stream meets the preset priority adjustment condition, and at this time, the three-tier switch may adjust the current priority of the video stream to the priority corresponding to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream.
Still taking the above example as an example, assuming that the current priority of video stream a is Pri1, the triple-layer switch may determine that video stream a needs to be subjected to priority adjustment, and adjust the priority of video stream a to Pri 2.
In another embodiment of the present application, determining whether the video stream meets a preset priority adjustment condition according to the number of the video streams that are homologous to the video stream may include:
when the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream is increased from being smaller than a preset threshold value to being larger than or equal to the preset threshold value, determining that the video stream meets a preset priority level adjustment condition;
accordingly, in this embodiment, the above-mentioned adjusting the priority of the video stream may include:
and increasing the priority of the video stream according to a preset adjusting strategy.
In this embodiment, in order to implement that the three-tier switch determines the priority of the video stream according to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream, a threshold (referred to as a preset threshold herein) for determining whether priority adjustment is required may be preset, and the three-tier switch may determine whether priority adjustment is required to be performed on the video stream according to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream and the preset threshold.
Accordingly, in this embodiment, for any video stream, when the triple layer switch determines that the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream increases from being less than the preset threshold to being greater than or equal to the preset threshold, the triple layer switch may determine that the video stream satisfies the preset priority adjustment condition.
For example, assuming that the preset threshold is 5, when the triple layer switch determines that the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream is increased from less than 5 to 5 or more than 5, the triple layer switch may determine that the video stream satisfies the preset priority adjustment condition.
In this embodiment, when the three-layer switch determines that the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream is increased from being smaller than the preset threshold to being greater than or equal to the preset threshold, the three-layer switch may increase the priority of the video stream according to a preset adjustment policy.
The preset adjustment policy may be to increase a value based on the priority before adjustment to increase the priority of the video stream (for example, the higher the priority value is, the higher the priority is, the same applies hereinafter), or to increase the priority to a preset value.
Further, in this embodiment, the determining whether the video stream meets a preset priority adjustment condition according to the number of the video streams that are homologous to the video stream may further include:
when the number of the homologous video streams of the video streams is reduced from being larger than or equal to a preset threshold value to being smaller than the preset threshold value, determining that the video streams meet a preset priority level adjustment condition;
accordingly, the adjusting the priority of the video stream may include:
and reducing the priority of the video stream according to a preset adjusting strategy.
In this embodiment, when the three-tier switch determines that the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream is reduced from greater than or equal to the preset threshold to less than the preset threshold, the three-tier switch may also determine that the video stream meets the preset priority adjustment condition, and at this time, the three-tier switch may reduce the priority of the video stream according to a preset adjustment policy.
Still taking the above example as an example, when the triple layer switch determines that the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream is reduced from greater than or equal to 5 ways to less than 5 ways, the triple layer switch may determine that the video stream satisfies the preset priority adjustment condition, and reduce the priority of the video stream.
The preset adjustment policy may be to decrease the priority of the video stream by a value based on the priority before adjustment, or decrease the priority to a preset value.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present application, the preset threshold may further include a plurality of thresholds, for example, the preset threshold may include a first preset threshold and a second preset threshold …. When the triple-layer switch determines that the number of the same source video streams of the video streams changes above or below different preset thresholds, the triple-layer switch can adjust the priority of the video streams accordingly.
For example, assuming that the preset thresholds include a first preset threshold (assumed to be 3 ways) and a second preset threshold (5 ways), the corresponding priorities are 6 and 5, respectively, and the initial priority of the video stream is 3, for any video stream, when the number of the video streams that are homologous to the video stream is increased by less than 3 ways, by a value greater than or equal to 3 ways, but less than 5 ways, such as 4 ways, the three-layer switch may increase the priority of the video stream from 3 to 5; when the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream continues to increase and is greater than or equal to 5 ways, for example, to 6 ways, the three-layer switch may further increase the priority of the video stream from 5 to 6.
Similarly, when the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream is reduced from greater than or equal to 5 to less than 5, but greater than or equal to 3, for example, 4, the three-layer switch may reduce the priority of the video stream from 6 to 5; when the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream continues to decrease and decreases to less than 3 ways, such as to 2 ways, the three-layer switch may decrease the priority of the video stream from 5 to 3.
For another example, assuming that the preset thresholds include a first preset threshold (assumed to be 3 ways) and a second preset threshold (5 ways), the preset adjustment policy is to increase or decrease by 2 each time the priority is adjusted, and the initial priority of the video stream is 2, for any video stream, when the number of the video streams that are the same source of the video stream is increased by an increment value that is less than 3 ways and is greater than or equal to 3 ways, but is less than 5 ways, such as 4 ways, the three-layer switch may increase the priority of the video stream from 2 to 4; when the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream continues to increase and is greater than or equal to 5 ways, for example, to 6 ways, the three-layer switch may further increase the priority of the video stream from 4 to 6.
Similarly, when the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream is reduced from greater than or equal to 5 paths to less than 5 paths, but greater than or equal to 3 paths, for example, 4 paths, the three-layer switch may reduce the priority of the video stream from 6 to 4; when the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream continues to decrease and decreases to less than 3 ways, such as to 2 ways, the three-layer switch may decrease the priority of the video stream from 4 to 2.
Step S140, forwarding control is carried out on the video stream according to the adjusted priority; wherein, the video stream with high priority is forwarded preferentially.
In this embodiment of the present application, for each video stream passing through the three-layer switch, the three-layer switch may perform forwarding control on each video stream according to the priority of each video stream.
When multiple video streams with different priorities exist, the three-layer switch can forward the video stream with high priority preferentially.
In this embodiment, for a video stream with an adjusted priority, the three-layer switch may perform forwarding control on the video stream according to the adjusted priority of the video stream.
It can be seen that, in the flow of the method shown in fig. 1, by counting the number of the video streams that are the same source of the video stream and determining the priority of the video stream according to the number of the video streams that are the same source of the video stream, when forwarding the video stream, the video stream is forwarded and controlled according to the priority of the video stream, and compared with the existing QoS implementation scheme that a packet is filtered by applying an ACL policy, the QoS implementation difficulty of QoS control in the process of forwarding the video stream is reduced without complex configuration, and the network device can automatically adjust the priority of the video stream, thereby improving the flexibility of QoS implementation.
Further, in the embodiment of the present application, when the number of the video streams with the increased priority is large, a situation that the traffic of the video stream with the highest priority (i.e., the traffic that needs to be forwarded preferentially) reaches the upper forwarding limit of the three-layer switch may occur, and at this time, the forwarding of the specific video stream still cannot be guaranteed.
Accordingly, in one embodiment of the present application, the video stream forwarding control method may further include:
when the total flow of the video streams with the highest priority in the video streams passing through the three-layer switch reaches a first preset flow threshold value, the priority of a target video stream in the video streams passing through the three-layer switch is improved; the target video stream is the video stream with the largest number of the same source video streams.
In this embodiment, in order to ensure that the video stream with the largest number of homologous video streams can be preferentially forwarded, when the triple-layer switch determines that the total traffic of the video stream with the highest priority among the video streams to be forwarded reaches a preset traffic threshold (referred to as a first preset traffic threshold, a specific value of which may be set according to an actual scene, such as an upstream egress bandwidth or 90% of the upstream egress bandwidth, etc.), the triple-layer switch may continuously increase the priority of the video stream with the largest number of homologous video streams (referred to as a target video stream herein) so that the target video stream can be preferentially forwarded.
For example, assuming that the preset priority adjustment policy is to adjust the priority of video streams having a number of the same source video streams greater than or equal to 5 channels by 6 and the priority of video streams having a number of the video streams less than 5 channels by 3, when the total flow of the video streams having a priority of 6 (assuming that the total flow includes video streams having a number of part of the same source video streams of 5 channels and video streams having a number of part of the same source video streams of 6 channels) in the video streams passing through the three-layer switch reaches the first preset flow threshold, the three-layer switch may continuously increase the priority of the video streams having a number of the same source video streams of 6 channels, and increase the priority to 6 or more, for example, to 8.
It should be noted that, in this embodiment of the application, when the total traffic of the video streams with the largest number of the video streams passing through the three-tier switch reaches the first preset threshold, at this time, the three-tier switch may not perform priority adjustment again, or the three-tier switch may select a part of the video streams to increase the priority again according to other policies, and details of specific implementation of the three-tier switch are not described herein.
Further, considering that when a network anomaly occurs or an attack device occurs, a situation that the traffic of a certain video stream is too high may occur, which may affect the normal transmission of other video streams, therefore, for a single video stream with too high traffic, the priority of the single video stream needs to be reduced to avoid affecting the normal transmission of other video streams.
Accordingly, in one embodiment of the present application, the video stream forwarding control method may further include:
for any video stream, when the flow of the video stream reaches a second preset flow threshold value, the priority of the video stream is reduced.
In this embodiment, when the three-layer switch monitors that the flow rate of a certain video stream reaches a preset flow rate threshold (referred to as a second preset flow rate threshold herein, a specific value of the second preset flow rate threshold may be set according to an actual scene, for example, twice or three times of the flow rate of a normal single-path video stream, etc.), the three-layer switch may determine that the video stream is an abnormal video stream, and at this time, the three-layer switch may reduce the priority of the video stream to avoid that the video stream affects normal transmission of other video streams.
Preferably, when the three-layer switch reduces the priority of the video stream, the reduced priority of the video stream may be lower than the priority of each of the other video streams.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present application, when the traffic of a certain video stream reaches the second preset traffic threshold and the video stream has other homologous video streams, when counting the number of homologous video streams of the video stream, the video stream may not be counted.
For example, if the source IP addresses of the video streams passing through the three-layer switch are IP1, but the video streams with different destination IP addresses include video streams a-d, and the traffic of the video stream a reaches the second preset traffic threshold, the number of the same source video streams corresponding to the IP1 is 3 (i.e., video streams b-d).
In order to enable those skilled in the art to better understand the technical solutions provided in the embodiments of the present application, the following describes the technical solutions provided in the embodiments of the present application with reference to specific application scenarios.
Referring to fig. 2, an architecture diagram of a specific application scenario provided in an embodiment of the present application is shown, in which in order to implement transfer control separation and centralized management, an Openflow protocol is applied in a video monitoring system, and forwarding control of a video stream is implemented based on the Openflow protocol.
As shown in fig. 2, in the application scenario, a control plane and a forwarding plane of a three-layer switch are split, where the control plane is implemented by a controller (i.e., an Openflow controller), and the forwarding plane is implemented by a convergence switch and an Openflow switch.
In this embodiment, when the Openflow networking is initialized to operate, a flow table for guiding forwarding of a message is not yet issued on the aggregation switch and the Openflow switch, at this time, when the aggregation switch and the Openflow switch receive the message, for example, when a preview request message sent by a PC to a camera (e.g., IPC), the aggregation switch and the Openflow switch need to encapsulate the message and send the encapsulated message to the controller, and the controller issues the flow table to the aggregation switch and the Openflow switch, and then the aggregation switch and the Openflow switch may guide forwarding of the message according to the flow table issued by the controller.
Referring to fig. 3, a schematic flow chart of a video stream forwarding control method based on the application scenario shown in fig. 2 according to an embodiment of the present application is shown, as shown in fig. 3, the video stream forwarding control method may be applied to a controller, and as shown in fig. 3, the video stream forwarding control method may include the following steps:
step S300, monitoring the video stream passing through the target switching equipment for any target switching equipment needing flow forwarding control in the networking.
In this embodiment of the present application, the target switching device may be an aggregation switch or any Openflow switch.
In the embodiment of the application, the controller may monitor the message passing through the target switching device, and determine whether the message is a video stream according to the protocol information or/and the port information carried in the message.
Step S310, for any video stream passing through the target switching equipment, counting the number of the same-source video streams of the video stream; and the same source video stream is a video stream with the same source IP address.
In this embodiment of the application, for any video stream passing through the target switching device, the controller may obtain a source IP address and a destination IP address of the video stream, determine whether there are other homologous video streams in the video stream according to the IP address and the destination IP address of the video stream, and count the number of homologous video streams of the video stream.
Step S320, determining whether the video stream meets a preset priority adjustment condition according to the number of the video streams that are the same as the video stream. If yes, go to step S330; otherwise, the current flow is ended.
In the embodiment of the present application, it is considered that, when the number of preview requests for a video stream of a certain video source is increased (that is, the number of homologous video streams corresponding to the video source is increased), the timeliness and the importance of the video stream may be improved.
Accordingly, in the embodiment of the present application, in order to ensure that the hot video can be forwarded normally, the controller may determine the priority of the video stream according to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream, so as to ensure that the video stream with a larger number of the homologous video streams has a higher priority, so that the video stream can be forwarded preferentially when traffic congestion occurs.
Wherein the priority of the video stream may be positively correlated with the number of homologous video streams of the video stream.
In order to determine the priority of the video stream according to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream, in the embodiment of the present application, a priority adjustment condition (i.e., a preset priority adjustment condition) may be preset in the controller, so that the controller may automatically perform priority adjustment on the video streams, the number of which satisfies the preset priority adjustment condition, according to the preset priority adjustment condition.
Correspondingly, for any video stream, the controller may determine whether the video stream meets a preset priority adjustment condition according to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream, and if so, go to step S330; otherwise, no adjustment is made to the priority of the video stream.
Step S330, the priority of the video stream is adjusted, so that the target switching equipment performs forwarding control on the video stream according to the adjusted priority; wherein, the video stream with high priority is forwarded preferentially.
In the embodiment of the application, when the controller determines that the video stream meets the preset priority adjustment condition according to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream, the controller may adjust the priority of the video stream.
In an embodiment of the application, the determining whether the video stream meets the preset prioritization condition according to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream may include:
inquiring the corresponding relation between the number of preset homologous video streams and the priority according to the number of the homologous video streams of the video streams so as to determine the priority corresponding to the number of the homologous video streams of the video streams;
and when the current priority of the video stream is different from the priority corresponding to the number of the video streams which are the same as the video stream, determining that the video stream meets a preset priority adjustment condition.
Accordingly, in this embodiment, the adjusting the priority of the video stream may include:
and adjusting the current priority of the video stream to the priority corresponding to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream.
In this embodiment, in order to enable the controller to determine the priority of the video stream according to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream, the correspondence between the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream and the priority of the video stream may be set in advance on the controller (i.e., the correspondence between the number of the homologous video streams and the priority is preset).
Accordingly, in this embodiment, for any video stream, when the controller determines the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream, the corresponding relationship between the number of the preset homologous video streams and the priority may be queried according to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream to determine the priority corresponding to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream.
For example, taking the correspondence between the number of the video streams and the priority as shown in Table 1 as an example, assuming that the priority determines that the number of the video streams a that are the same source is N3 paths, and N1 < N3 ≦ N2, the controller may determine that the priority of the video stream a (and other video streams that are the same source as the video stream a) is Pri 2.
In this embodiment, when the controller determines the priority corresponding to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream, the current priority of the video stream may be compared with the priority corresponding to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream, and if the current priority of the video stream is different from the priority corresponding to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream, the controller determines that the video stream meets the preset priority adjustment condition, and at this time, the controller may adjust the current priority of the video stream to the priority corresponding to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream.
Still taking the above example as an example, assuming that the current priority of the video stream a is Pri1, the controller may determine that the video stream a needs to be subjected to priority adjustment, and adjust the priority of the video stream a to Pri 2.
In another embodiment of the present application, determining whether the video stream meets a preset priority adjustment condition according to the number of the video streams that are homologous to the video stream may include:
when the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream is increased from being smaller than a preset threshold value to being larger than or equal to the preset threshold value, determining that the video stream meets a preset priority level adjustment condition;
accordingly, in this embodiment, the above-mentioned adjusting the priority of the video stream may include:
and increasing the priority of the video stream according to a preset adjusting strategy.
In this embodiment, in order to enable the controller to determine the priority of the video stream according to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream, a threshold (referred to as a preset threshold herein) for determining whether the priority adjustment is required may be preset, and the controller may determine whether the priority adjustment is required according to the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream and the preset threshold.
Accordingly, in this embodiment, for any video stream, when the controller determines that the number of homologous video streams of the video stream increases from being less than the preset threshold to being greater than or equal to the preset threshold, the controller may determine that the video stream satisfies the preset priority adjustment condition.
In this embodiment, when the controller determines that the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream is increased from being smaller than the preset threshold to being greater than or equal to the preset threshold, the controller may increase the priority of the video stream according to the preset adjustment policy.
The preset adjustment policy may be to increase the priority of the video stream by adding a value to the priority before adjustment, or to increase the priority to a preset value.
Further, in this embodiment, the determining whether the video stream meets a preset priority adjustment condition according to the number of the video streams that are homologous to the video stream may further include:
when the number of the homologous video streams of the video streams is reduced from being larger than or equal to a preset threshold value to being smaller than the preset threshold value, determining that the video streams meet a preset priority level adjustment condition;
accordingly, the adjusting the priority of the video stream may include:
and reducing the priority of the video stream according to a preset adjusting strategy.
In this embodiment, when the controller determines that the number of the homologous video streams of the video stream is reduced from greater than or equal to the preset threshold to less than the preset threshold, the controller may also determine that the video stream meets the preset priority adjustment condition, and at this time, the controller may reduce the priority of the video stream according to a preset adjustment policy.
When the controller determines that the number of the same source video streams of the video streams changes above or below different preset thresholds, the controller may adjust the priority of the video streams accordingly.
In the embodiment of the present application, for each path of video stream passing through the target switching device, the target switching device may perform forwarding control on each path of video stream according to the priority of each path of video stream.
When multiple video streams with different priorities exist, the target switching equipment can forward the video stream with high priority preferentially.
In the embodiment of the present application, for a video stream with an adjusted priority, the target switching device may perform forwarding control on the video stream according to the adjusted priority of the video stream.
It can be seen that, in the flow of the method shown in fig. 3, by counting the number of the video streams that are the same source of the video stream and determining the priority of the video stream according to the number of the video streams that are the same source of the video stream, when forwarding the video stream, the video stream is forwarded and controlled according to the priority of the video stream, and compared with the existing QoS implementation scheme that a packet is filtered by applying an ACL policy, the QoS implementation difficulty of QoS control in the process of forwarding the video stream is reduced without complex configuration, and the controller can automatically adjust the priority of the video stream, thereby improving the flexibility of QoS implementation.
Further, in the embodiment of the present application, when the number of the video streams with the increased priority is large, a situation that the traffic of the video stream with the highest priority (i.e., the traffic that needs to be forwarded preferentially) reaches the forwarding upper limit of the target switching device may occur, and at this time, the forwarding of the specific video stream still cannot be guaranteed.
Accordingly, in one embodiment of the present application, the video stream forwarding control method may further include:
when the total flow of the video streams with the highest priority in the video streams passing through the target switching equipment reaches a first preset flow threshold value, the priority of the target video stream in the video streams passing through the target switching equipment is increased; the target video stream is the video stream with the largest number of the same source video streams.
In this embodiment, considering that the greater the number of the homologous video streams of the video streams, the higher the importance degree of the video streams, therefore, in order to ensure that the video stream with the greatest number of the homologous video streams can be preferentially forwarded, when the controller determines that the total flow rate of the video stream with the highest priority among the video streams to be forwarded reaches the first preset flow rate threshold, the controller may continue to increase the priority of the video stream with the greatest number of the homologous video streams (referred to as a target video stream herein), so that the target video stream can be preferentially forwarded.
For example, the upstream exit bandwidth is 100M, each video stream occupies 4M bandwidth, when there are 5 IPCs and there are 4 previews, 20 video streams have reached the preset 80M threshold, it is assumed that the priorities of the 20 video streams have all been increased to 5, at this time, if the number of previews of 1 IPC video among them is increased to 5, the priority of the 5 video streams of the video stream is increased to 6, and the priorities of the remaining video streams are kept unchanged at 5.
Accordingly, in one embodiment of the present application, the video stream forwarding control method may further include:
and for any video stream passing through the target switching equipment, when the flow of the video stream reaches a second preset flow threshold value, the priority of the video stream is reduced.
In this embodiment, when the controller monitors that the flow of a certain path of video stream reaches the second preset flow threshold, the controller may determine that the video stream is an abnormal video stream, and at this time, the controller may reduce the priority of the video stream to avoid that the controller affects normal transmission of other video streams.
Preferably, when the controller decreases the priority of the video stream, the decreased priority of the video stream may be lower than the priority of each of the other video streams.
In the embodiment of the application, the number of the homologous video streams of the video streams is counted, the priority of the video streams is determined according to the number of the homologous video streams of the video streams, and when the video streams are forwarded, the video streams are forwarded and controlled according to the priority of the video streams.
