In the prior art, a method for reminding a user to process a notification is as follows: and reminding the user to process the notification by controlling the signal lamp of the terminal equipment to flash and/or the screen of the terminal equipment to light. In the prior art, the mode of reminding a user to process the notification by signal lamp flashing and/or screen lighting is too monotonous and lacks interestingness.
In view of the foregoing problems, embodiments of the present invention provide a terminal device and a control method thereof, where when receiving a target notification, it is first determined whether an intensity of ambient light is less than a threshold intensity, and when determining that the intensity of the ambient light is less than the threshold intensity, target content is displayed in a target area of a target screen, where the target screen is a screen on which the terminal device is blocked by an object. The control method of the terminal device provided by the embodiment of the invention can display the target content in the target area of the screen, which is shielded by the object, of the terminal device when the target notification is received and the environment is dark, so that the control method of the terminal device provided by the embodiment of the invention can display the target content in the target area of the screen, which is shielded by the object, when the notification is received and the environment is dark, the atmosphere lamp effect is realized, and the way of reminding the user to process the notification is enriched, therefore, the embodiment of the invention can solve the problem that the way of reminding the user to process the notification is too monotonous in the prior art.
The control method of the terminal device provided by the embodiment of the application can be applied to the terminal device, and the terminal device can be a terminal device with an operating system. The operating system may be an android operating system, an iOS operating system, or other possible operating systems, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present application.
Next, a software environment applied to the control method for the terminal device provided by the embodiment of the present application is introduced by taking an android operating system as an example.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of an architecture of a possible android operating system according to an embodiment of the present application. In fig. 1, the architecture of the android operating system includes 4 layers, which are respectively: an application layer, an application framework layer, a system runtime layer, and a kernel layer (specifically, a Linux kernel layer).
The application program layer comprises various application programs (including system application programs and third-party application programs) in an android operating system.
The application framework layer is a framework of the application, and a developer can develop some applications based on the application framework layer under the condition of complying with the development principle of the framework of the application.
The system runtime layer includes libraries (also called system libraries) and android operating system runtime environments. The library mainly provides various resources required by the android operating system. The android operating system running environment is used for providing a software environment for the android operating system.
The kernel layer is an operating system layer of an android operating system and belongs to the bottommost layer of an android operating system software layer. The kernel layer provides kernel system services and hardware-related drivers for the android operating system based on the Linux kernel.
Taking an android operating system as an example, in the embodiment of the present application, a developer may develop a software program for implementing the control method of the terminal device provided in the embodiment of the present application based on the system architecture of the android operating system shown in fig. 1, so that the control method of the terminal device may operate based on the android operating system shown in fig. 1. That is, the processor or the terminal device may implement the control method of the terminal device provided in the embodiment of the present application by running the software program in the android operating system.
The terminal device provided in the embodiment of the present application may be a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, an ultra-mobile personal computer (UMPC), a netbook, a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), an intelligent watch, an intelligent bracelet, or other types of terminal devices, and the embodiment of the present application is not limited.
An embodiment of the present invention provides a control method of a terminal device, which is specifically applied to the terminal device, and as shown in fig. 2, the control method of the terminal device includes the following steps 101 to 103.
Step 101, the terminal device receives a target notification.
Specifically, the target notification may specifically be a call request received by the terminal device, a short message received by the terminal device, a recommendation message of an application installed in the terminal device, a notification of a system of the terminal device, and the like.
Step 102, the terminal device determines whether the intensity of the ambient light is less than a threshold intensity.
Specifically, the process of the terminal device determining whether the intensity of the ambient light is less than the threshold intensity may include: the terminal device obtains the intensity of the ambient light through a photosensitive sensor, an infrared sensor and the like of the terminal device, and then compares the intensity of the ambient light with the threshold intensity, so as to determine whether the intensity of the ambient light is smaller than the threshold intensity.
Of course, the terminal device may also determine whether the intensity of the ambient light is less than the threshold intensity in other manners, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention, and it is determined that the terminal device can determine whether the intensity of the ambient light is less than the threshold intensity.
In the above step 102, in case it is determined that the intensity of the ambient light is less than the threshold intensity, the following step 103 is performed.
That is, the control method of the terminal device provided in the embodiment of the present invention executes the following step 103 only in a dark environment.
And 103, the terminal equipment displays the target content in the target area of the target screen.
And the target screen is a screen of the terminal equipment which is shielded by an object.
Since the target screen is a screen on which the terminal device is blocked by an object, the screen of the terminal device may be switched between the target screen and the non-target screen as the state of the terminal device changes. For example: the terminal equipment comprises a first screen positioned on the front side and a second screen positioned on the back side, and under the condition that a user places the front side of the terminal equipment on a desktop upwards, the second screen positioned on the back side of the terminal equipment is a screen shielded by an object, so that the second screen is a target screen and the first screen is not a target screen; and if the user turns over the terminal equipment to enable the back face to be upwards placed on the desktop, the first screen is a target screen, and the second screen is not a target screen. In addition, in some cases, both the first screen located on the front side of the terminal device and the second screen located on the back side of the terminal device are blocked by objects (for example, the terminal device is placed in a pocket), so that the target screen can also be the first screen and the second screen of the terminal device.
In the method for controlling a terminal device provided in the embodiment of the present invention, when a target notification is received, it is first determined whether intensity of ambient light is less than a threshold intensity, and target content is displayed in a target area of a target screen when it is determined that the intensity of the ambient light is less than the threshold intensity, where the target screen is a screen where the terminal device is blocked by an object.

Illustratively, the images 91, 92, 93, and 94 may be solid color images of different colors.
Still further, referring to fig. 10, after step 103 (displaying the target content in the target area of the target screen), the method provided by the embodiment of the present invention further includes:
and 104, stopping displaying the target content in the target area of the target screen of the terminal equipment under the condition that the target condition is met.
