The gas relay in heavy gas protection provided by the prior art adopts two pairs of normally open contacts which are used in parallel, or one pair of normally open contacts is used, and the other pair of normally open contacts is used for standby. When the transformer fails, the normally open contact of the transformer heavy gas relay is switched on, the breaker trips, and the power supply of the transformer is cut off, so that safety accidents are prevented.
