Background
Petroleum coke is one of the main byproducts of the oil refining industry, and is a main raw material for preparing carbon materials, particularly prebaked anodes (also called carbon anodes, simply called anodes) for aluminum. Petroleum coke is classified into high sulfur coke (S content not less than 3%) and low sulfur coke (S content not more than 2%) according to sulfur content. The sulfur content in petroleum coke determines the end use of petroleum coke, and high sulfur coke is mainly used as fuel and is desulfurized and combusted by a fluidized bed boiler. The prior fluidized bed boiler for petroleum coke combustion desulfurization generally comprises a hearth, a material separator, a feed back box and a plurality of ventilation pipes, wherein petroleum coke particles in the hearth enter the material separator along with flue gas, separated materials enter the feed back box and then enter the hearth through the feed back pipe for combustion, but the sizes of the petroleum coke particles separated by the material separator are inconsistent, so that the mixing degree of the petroleum coke particles falling into the feed back box is poor, the combustion disturbance in the hearth is larger, that is, the combustion is unstable.
There is thus an urgent need for a fluidized bed boiler for petroleum coke combustion desulfurization that can solve the existing problems.
