Background

Practice shows that the larger the acting force is, the larger the deformation of the steel member is. However, when the working force is too large, the steel member will break or severely and significantly deform plastically, which may affect the normal operation of the engineering structure. In order to ensure that engineering materials and structures work properly under load, it is required that each steel member should have sufficient capacity to withstand the load, also known as load carrying capacity. The amount of load carrying capacity is primarily measured by the sufficient strength, stiffness and stability that the steel component has.
In the processing and manufacturing process of the steel member, drilling operation is often required, however, the structure of the traditional drilling fixture is rigid, clamping is inconvenient, installation and adjustment are inconvenient, and especially for the T-shaped steel member, installation and adjustment are extremely inconvenient, so that drilling efficiency and quality are affected.
