Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, like numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The implementations described in the exemplary embodiments below are not intended to represent all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the present disclosure, as detailed in the appended claims.
FIG. 1A is a block diagram illustrating a display method according to an example embodiment. The execution main body of the display method provided by the embodiment can be a terminal, such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, and the like. As shown in fig. 1A, the method of the present embodiment may include the following steps:
in step 101, when the contrast between the color of the display object in the first layer of the image to be displayed and the background color of the image to be displayed is greater than the preset contrast, before the image to be displayed is displayed, the contrast between the color of the edge of the display object in the first layer and the background color is reduced, and the processed image to be displayed is obtained.
In this step, the image to be displayed may be synthesized from a plurality of layers, where the plurality of layers includes the first layer. The first layer may be any one of the plurality of layers. The background color of the image to be displayed may be the color of the first layer, or may be the color of another layer except the first layer. Wherein contrast refers to the degree of contrast between colors. The greater the contrast, the greater the contrast between colors; the smaller the contrast, the smaller the contrast between colors. Alternatively, the display object may be a text object, a graphic object, or the like.
When the contrast between the color of the display object in the first layer of the image to be displayed and the background color of the image to be displayed is greater than the preset contrast, it may indicate that there is a case where the contrast between the color of the display object in the first layer and the background color is too large. When the contrast between the color of the display object in the first layer of the image to be displayed and the background color of the image to be displayed is less than or equal to the preset contrast, it may indicate that there is no case where the contrast between the color of the display object in the first layer and the background color is too large.
Also, there is currently a scene in which the color of the display pixels of the display device changes from the color of the edge of the display object to the background color, or from the background color to the color of the edge of the display object. For example, for a page used for displaying an image to be displayed, the content of the page may be a scene that changes continuously as the user slides (slides left and right or up and down) the page, assuming that the page can display A, B and C three sections of text from top to bottom, and after the user slides the page upwards, the page can display B, C and D three sections of text from top to bottom. When the contrast between the color of the display object of the first layer and the background color is too large, the response speed of the color of the display pixel of the display device from the color of the edge of the display object to the background color or from the background color to the color of the edge of the display object is slow. Therefore, when the color of the display pixel needs to be changed between the color of the edge of the display object and the background color, there is a problem that human eyes feel flickering because the response speed of the display device is slow.
Before the image to be displayed is displayed, the contrast between the color of the edge of the display object in the first layer and the background color is reduced to obtain the processed image to be displayed, so that the response speed of changing the color of the display pixel from the color of the edge of the display object to the background color or changing the color of the edge of the display object from the background color is increased, and the problem that human eyes feel flickering due to the slow response speed of a display device is solved.
In addition, for an application (App), a web page, and the like that provide a text reading function to a user, the display object may be a text object, and when the user slides the page, the color of the display pixel needs to be changed frequently between the color of the edge of the display object and the background color. When the contrast between the color of the edge of the display object and the background color is too large, there is a problem that the text is smeared due to the slow response speed of the display device, causing poor user experience and even a feeling of vertigo. By reducing the contrast between the color of the edge of the display object and the background color, the problem of text smear can be avoided and the user experience is improved when the color of the display pixel can be frequently changed between the color of the edge of the display object and the background color.
Optionally, the contrast between the color of the other part of the display object except the edge of the display object and the background color may be kept unchanged to ensure the clarity of the display.
In step 102, the processed image to be displayed is displayed.
In this step, the processed image to be displayed is displayed to the user. Specifically, the image to be displayed obtained after the processing in step 101 may be displayed by a display device. The display device may be a display device with a slow response speed, such as a liquid crystal display. Assuming that the display object is a text object, the color of the display object is black, and the background color is white, the display effect of displaying the processed image to be displayed can be as shown in fig. 1B. The color of the edge of the display object in fig. 1B is gray, and the contrast of the edge of the display object with the background color is smaller than the contrast of black with the background color.
In the display method provided by this embodiment, when the contrast between the color of the display object in the first layer of the image to be displayed and the background color of the image to be displayed is greater than the preset contrast, the contrast between the color of the edge of the display object in the first layer and the background color is first reduced to obtain the processed image to be displayed, and then the processed image to be displayed is displayed, so that the contrast between the color of the edge of the display object in the first layer and the background color is reduced, the response speed of changing the color of the display pixel of the display device from the color of the edge of the display object to the background color or from the background color to the color of the edge of the display object is increased, and thus the problem that human eyes feel flickering due to the slow response speed of the display device is avoided.
Fig. 2 is a block diagram illustrating a display method according to another exemplary embodiment. Referring to fig. 2, the method provided in this embodiment mainly describes, on the basis of the method shown in fig. 1A, an optional implementation manner of obtaining a processed image to be displayed by reducing a contrast between a color of a display object edge of a first layer and a background color before displaying the image to be displayed when the background color of the image to be displayed is the background color of the first layer. As shown in fig. 2, the method of this embodiment may include:
in step 201, when the contrast between the color of the display object in the first layer of the image to be displayed and the background color of the image to be displayed is greater than the preset contrast, before the first layer and the second layer are merged to obtain the image to be displayed, the contrast between the color of the edge of the display object in the target layer and the background color of the target layer is reduced, where the target layer is the first layer, and the processed target layer is obtained.
In this step, the image to be displayed may be synthesized from a plurality of layers, where the plurality of layers includes a first layer and a second layer. The first layer may be one of the layers whose background color is a background color of the image to be displayed, and the second layer may be another layer of the layers other than the first layer. The number of the second layer may be one or more. Specifically, when the background color of the image to be displayed is the background color of the first layer, the contrast between the color of the edge of the display object in the first layer and the background color of the first layer may be reduced.
It should be noted that, as to a specific manner of reducing the contrast between the color of the edge of the display object of the first layer and the background color of the first layer, the present disclosure may not be limited. Optionally, a pixel value of a first pixel in the image corresponding to the first layer and a pixel value of a second pixel adjacent to the first pixel may be interpolated to obtain a pixel value of the first pixel, and the first pixel traverses all pixels in the image corresponding to the target display image. The image corresponding to the first image layer may be understood as an image of a single image layer (i.e., a single first image layer), rather than synthesizing images of multiple image layers. The second pixel adjacent to the first pixel may specifically include: a pixel directly above the first pixel adjacent to the first pixel, and an element directly below the first pixel adjacent to the first pixel. Or, the second pixel adjacent to the first pixel may specifically include: a pixel directly above the first pixel adjacent to the first pixel, an element directly below the first pixel adjacent to the first pixel, a pixel directly to the left of the first pixel adjacent to the first pixel, and an element directly to the right of the first pixel adjacent to the first pixel.
The present disclosure may not be limited to the specific interpolation method. Alternatively, the interpolation may be performed according to a preset weight. For example, assuming that the weight of the pixel value of the first pixel a is w1, the weights of the second pixels adjacent to the first pixel are a1, a2, a3, and a4, and the weight of the second pixel is w2, the pixel value of the first pixel a obtained by interpolation may be equal to (a × w1+ (a1+ a2+ a3+ a4) × w2)/(w1+4 × w 2).
In step 202, the processed target layer and the second layer are merged to obtain a processed image to be displayed.
In this step, specifically, the second layer and the processed first layer may be merged to obtain the processed image to be displayed. It should be noted that, for the specific method for merging layers to obtain an image, reference may be made to the existing implementation manner, and details are not described herein again.
In step 203, the processed image to be displayed is displayed.
It should be noted that step 203 is similar to step 102, and is not described herein again.
In the display method provided by this embodiment, when the contrast between the color of the display object in the first layer of the image to be displayed and the background color of the image to be displayed is greater than the preset contrast, the contrast between the color of the edge of the display object in the first layer and the background color of the first layer is first reduced to obtain the processed first layer, then the processed first layer and the processed second layer are combined to obtain the processed image to be displayed, and finally the processed image to be displayed is displayed, so that the contrast between the color of the edge of the display object in the first layer and the background color is reduced, the color of the display pixel of the display device is changed from the color of the edge of the display object to the background color, or from the background color to the color of the edge of the display object, and thus the slow response speed of the display device is avoided, resulting in the problem that human eyes feel flickering.
Fig. 3 is a block diagram illustrating a display method according to yet another exemplary embodiment. Referring to fig. 3, the method provided in this embodiment mainly describes, on the basis of the method shown in fig. 1A, an optional implementation manner of obtaining a processed image to be displayed by reducing a contrast between a color of a display object edge of a first layer and a background color before displaying the image to be displayed when the background color of the image to be displayed is a color of a third layer. As shown in fig. 3, the method of this embodiment may include:
in step 301, when the contrast between the color of the display object in the first layer of the image to be displayed and the background color of the image to be displayed is greater than the preset contrast, the first layer and the third layer are merged to obtain the target layer before the first layer, the second layer, and the third layer are merged to obtain the image to be displayed.
In this step, the image to be displayed may be synthesized from a plurality of layers, where the plurality of layers includes a first layer, a second layer, and a third layer. The third layer may be one of the layers whose background color is a background color of the image to be displayed, the first layer may be one of the layers other than the third layer, and the second layer may be another layer of the layers other than the first layer and the third layer. The number of the second layer may be one or more. Specifically, when the background color of the image to be displayed is the background color of the third layer, the first layer and the third layer may be merged to obtain the target layer.
In step 302, the contrast between the color of the edge of the display object in the target layer and the background color of the target layer is reduced, so as to obtain a processed target layer.
In this step, it should be noted that, for a specific manner of reducing the contrast between the color of the edge of the display object in the target layer and the background color of the target layer, the present disclosure may not be limited. Optionally, a pixel value of a first pixel in the image corresponding to the target layer and a pixel value of a second pixel adjacent to the first pixel may be interpolated to obtain a pixel value of the first pixel, and the first pixel traverses all pixels in the image corresponding to the target display image. In this case, the image corresponding to the target layer may be understood as an image of a single layer (i.e., a single target layer), rather than synthesizing images of multiple layers.
In step 303, the processed target layer and the second layer are merged to obtain a processed image to be displayed.
In this step, specifically, the second layer and the processed target layer may be merged to obtain the processed image to be displayed. It should be noted that, for the specific method for merging layers to obtain an image, reference may be made to the existing implementation manner, and details are not described herein again.
In step 304, the processed image to be displayed is displayed.
It should be noted that step 304 is similar to step 102, and is not described herein again.
In the display method provided in this embodiment, when the contrast between the color of the display object in the first layer of the image to be displayed and the background color of the image to be displayed is greater than the preset contrast, the first layer and the third layer are merged to obtain the target layer, the contrast between the color of the edge of the display object in the target layer and the background color of the target layer is reduced to obtain the processed target layer, the processed target layer and the second layer are merged to obtain the processed image to be displayed, and the processed image to be displayed is displayed to reduce the contrast between the color of the edge of the display object in the first layer and the background color, so as to increase the response speed of the color of the display pixel of the display device from the color of the edge of the display object to the background color or from the background color to the color of the edge of the display object, thereby avoiding the problem that human eyes feel flickering due to the slow response speed of the display device.
Fig. 4 is a block diagram illustrating a display method according to yet another exemplary embodiment. Referring to fig. 4, the method provided in this embodiment mainly describes an optional trigger condition for reducing the contrast between the color of the edge of the display object in the first layer and the background color based on the method shown in fig. 1A. As shown in fig. 4, the method of this embodiment may include:
in step 401, when the contrast between the color of the display object in the first layer of the image to be displayed and the background color of the image to be displayed is greater than the preset contrast, before the image to be displayed is displayed, it is determined whether the display object in the first layer meets the target condition.
In this step, the target conditions include: the number of the display objects in the first layer is larger than or equal to a number threshold, and/or the area ratio of the display objects in the first layer is larger than or equal to a ratio threshold. The area ratio threshold may be an area size or an area ratio. The display object in the first layer satisfies the target condition, which may be understood as a further condition that may be satisfied for reducing a contrast between a color of an edge of the display object in the first layer of the image to be displayed and a background color of the image to be displayed in a scene in which the contrast between the color of the display object in the first layer of the image to be displayed and the background color of the image to be displayed is greater than a preset contrast.
When the display object in the first layer meets the target condition, it may be indicated that when the contrast between the color of the display object in the first layer of the image to be displayed and the background color of the image to be displayed is greater than the preset contrast, the contrast difference between the color of the display object and the background color of the image to be displayed may bring a poor experience to a user, and thus the contrast between the color of the edge of the display object in the first layer and the background color may be further reduced. When the display object in the first layer does not satisfy the target condition, it may be indicated that when the contrast between the color of the display object in the first layer of the image to be displayed and the background color of the image to be displayed is greater than the preset contrast, the contrast difference between the color of the display object and the background color of the image to be displayed may not bring a poor experience to a user, and thus the contrast between the color of the edge of the display object in the first layer and the background color may not be reduced.
Optionally, when the number of the display objects in the first layer is one, the area ratio of the display objects may be a ratio of an area where one display object is located to the total area of the first layer.
