The large-capacity data center mostly adopts a magnetic storage mode, and the magnetic storage has inherent weaknesses, such as harsh requirements on storage environment, easiness in external electromagnetic interference, easiness in data loss, high maintenance cost and the like. The optical storage can fundamentally solve the problems, and the optical storage uses a large-capacity optical disc as a storage medium, has high environmental adaptability, is stable in data storage and low in maintenance cost, so that the optical storage is becoming a mainstream storage mode in the field of large data. The optical storage system is a data storage device using an optical disc as a medium, and has a high degree of automation.
At present, the optical storage system mainly adopts a rotating cage type optical disc library to store optical discs, the rotating cage type optical disc library device mainly adopts a PLC (programmable logic controller) and a singlechip to control the optical disc library, and the optical disc box in the optical disc library is mostly opened and closed in a push-pull, rotary toggle mode and the like, so that the automatic control of a rotating cage type optical disc library data center is realized to a great extent. However, the layout of the existing rotating cage type optical disc library is not reasonable enough, the positioning accuracy is not high enough, and the access efficiency of the optical disc is still to be improved.
Therefore, there is a need in the market for an optical storage system with dual manipulators for opening and closing the optical disc cartridge, which has the advantages of reasonable layout, precise operation and high optical disc access efficiency.
