Abstract
The invention provides a thermal transfer printer, which comprises N groups of printing suite, wherein each group of printing suite comprises a color-releasing coil (1), a printing head assembly (2) and a color-collecting coil (3), the 4 groups of printing suite are arranged on the upper half part of a printer frame (4), a paper placing coil (6), a paper collecting coil (7) and a motor are arranged on the lower half part of the printer frame (4), and a main control system is arranged on the back of the printer frame (4), wherein N is more than or equal to 4. The thermal transfer printer provided by the invention has the advantages that the printing head components are modularized, the later improvement of the printer is facilitated, the number of the printing head components can be increased or reduced according to actual conditions, and the operation of a user is facilitated. Background
Characters and patterns printed by the thermal transfer printer can be stored for a long time without fading, and cannot be discolored and deformed due to high temperature. The thermal transfer technology is to transfer the carbon powder coating on the carbon belt onto paper or other kinds of materials by using a special carbon belt in a heating mode. As technology matures and spreads, more and more thermal transfer finished products are appearing in the field of view of people.
However, most of the current thermal transfer printers are smaller than or equal to three printing heads, the printed colors are single, and most of the printers with the three printing heads adopt three primary colors of carbon tapes, so that products with different colors can be printed, but black which is commonly used in the current power industry is larger in consumption of an ink ribbon in the printing process, and the requirements on the printers in the printing process are higher because the black color is darker. In addition, every time a group of printing heads are added, the printing heads are required to be researched and developed again, the modular manufacturing management is not realized in the earlier-manufactured printer products, and the development of the thermal transfer printer is restricted to a certain extent.

Fig. 3 and 4 are perspective and plan views of each printing set, and the thermal transfer printer according to the present invention further comprises an electromagnetic brake (5) and a torque motor, wherein the color-releasing coil (1) is connected with the electromagnetic brake (5), and the color-receiving coil (3) is connected with the torque motor. The electromagnetic brake (5) can brake the color-releasing roll (1) according to actual conditions, for example, when the printing head is lifted and the color-releasing roll (1) is not needed to output the color ribbon. The torque motor provides power for the color receiving belt of the color receiving belt roll (3). In the whole pivoted in-process of putting color coil (1) and receipts color coil (3), torque motor provides their rotatory power, and torque motor drives receipts color coil (3) and rotates promptly, and the typewriter ribbon twines on putting color coil (1) and receipts color coil (3), and when receipts color coil (3) rotated, through the traction of typewriter ribbon, putting color coil (1) also follows the rotation. The torque motor transmits the provided power data to the main control system, and the main control system judges the optimal power according to the degree of the tensioned ribbon in the printing process. If the printing head is lifted, the torque motor reduces the power provided, and simultaneously, the electromagnetic brake (5) stops the rotation of the color-releasing coil (1), the printing head is lifted, the color ribbon is tensioned, and the color-releasing coil (1) and the color-collecting coil (3) are not rotated any more.
The print head assembly (2) comprises a motor, a screw, a guide rail, a cooling assembly and a print head. The motor controls the screw rod, so as to control the printing head to move up and down along the guide rail, a cooling assembly is arranged on the printing head, water is used as cooling liquid in the invention, cooling water is introduced into the cooling assembly, and the printing head is cooled through water circulation. The motor is arranged at the uppermost end of the printing head assembly (2), and the lead screw and the guide rail are arranged between the motor and the printing head.
The thermal transfer printer further comprises a paper cutting module, wherein the paper cutting module comprises a cutter and a guide wheel, the guide wheel plays a role of traction, a sample chapter needing to be cut is guided to the position of the cutter, and the sample chapter is divided into proper units through the cutter. If the paper is not required to be cut, the paper is not required to enter the paper cutting module, and the paper is directly wound on the paper receiving roll (7), and the paper is taken out after printing.
The thermal transfer printer of the invention further comprises an impression cylinder. The impression cylinder is matched with the printing head to be used together, one end of the ribbon is connected with the color-releasing coil (1), the other end of the ribbon is connected with the color-receiving coil (3), and the ribbon sequentially passes through the color-releasing coil (1), the printing head and the color-receiving coil (3) from left to right; the printing medium sequentially passes through the paper unreeling roll (6), the printing head and the paper reeling roll (7) from left to right; the 1-group printing kit comprises color bands of one color, and the 4-group printing kit uses color bands of 4 colors. While the printing medium has only 1 roll, the starting point is at the paper roll (6), and the end point is at the paper roll (7). The color ribbon is arranged on the printing medium, and the colors on the color ribbon are printed on the printing medium through the heating of the printing head, so that the printing of characters and patterns is completed. In the printing process, the printing head is pressed down, the ribbon is pressed on the printing medium, the impression cylinder is arranged below the printing medium and plays a role of supporting, so that the ribbon is in closer contact with the printing medium, and meanwhile, the ribbon cannot slip.
The thermal transfer printer further comprises a paper feeding roller, the paper feeding roller is positioned on one side of the paper receiving roll (7), the motor drives the paper feeding roller to rotate, the rubber roller is closely contacted with the paper feeding roller on one side of the paper feeding roller, printing media pass through a gap between the rubber roller and the paper feeding roller and finally are wound on the paper receiving roll (7), or enter a paper cutting module, the paper feeding roller provides power for printing media transmission, and the rotating angular speed of the paper feeding roller is greater than or equal to the rotating angular speed of the paper receiving roll (7), so that stable operation of the printing media can be guaranteed.
The color of the color band used in the 4 groups of printing kits is any one of CMYK, and the color of the color band can be changed according to actual needs.
The thermal transfer printer further comprises a host machine, wherein the host machine is connected with the main control system, and the connection mode comprises one or more of wire, wireless and Bluetooth. The host can be a desktop computer, a notebook computer, a PAD, or the like. The host controls the main control system and thus the whole printer.
In the earlier stage preparation process of the printer, the color ribbon is arranged between the color-releasing coil (1) and the color-collecting coil (3), and meanwhile, the color ribbon is only partially wound on the color-collecting coil (3) through the printing head, so that excessive waste is avoided. When printing, the host computer control main control system, main control system control print head is pressed down, and the color release coil (1) begins to export the typewriter ribbon, and torque motor control receipts color coil (3) rotate, simultaneously, and the motor drives paper release (6) and receipts scroll (7) rotation, and the paper feed roller motor drives the paper feed roller and rotates, and print medium moves the direction of receiving scroll (7) from paper release (6) direction, and the paper feed roller provides the power that print medium moved, and what kind of colour needs to be printed, what kind of colour's print head generates heat, and the colour on the corresponding color tape prints on print medium. The cooling assembly on the printing head is responsible for cooling the printing head, and the cooling assembly is provided with a water inlet pipe and a water outlet pipe, so that the circulation of cooling water is ensured. After the sample chapter on the printing medium is printed, if a plurality of units are needed to be cut, the sample chapter enters into a paper cutting module, a guide wheel in the paper cutting module presses the printed sample chapter to reach the position of a cutter, the guide wheel is in traction on one hand, the anti-wrinkling function is also realized on the other hand, the printed sample chapter is prevented from being wrinkled in the operation process, the cut sample chapter is further caused to reach an ideal level, the main control system controls the cutter, the distance data of the sample chapter advancing are transmitted to the cutter, and the lifting and the lowering of the cutter are further controlled. If the paper is not required to be cut, the paper can directly enter the paper receiving roll (7), and after printing is finished, the paper is directly cut. When the printing head is pressed down, the printing medium and the ribbon are extruded together, the paper feeding roller provides power for the printing medium to move forward, and friction between the printing medium and the ribbon can provide power for the ribbon to move.
The invention provides an embodiment of 4 groups of printing kits, in the invention, the printing kits on a printer are modularized, if more groups of printing heads are needed, a plurality of groups of printing kits are directly installed without reinstalling each part, so that the printer is a better mode for operators and sales. At the same time, this also provides a way for reference to modularize all components on the printer, and no additional research and development is required for either the increase or decrease.
In summary, the thermal transfer printer provided by the invention has the advantages that the printing head assembly is modularized, the later improvement of the printer is facilitated, the number of the printing head assemblies can be increased or reduced according to actual conditions, and the operation of a user is facilitated. the printing head assembly (2) comprises a motor, a screw rod, a guide rail, a cooling assembly and a printing head;
the motor controls the screw rod, so as to control the printing head to move up and down along the guide rail, a cooling component is arranged on the printing head, and the cooling liquid of the cooling component is water; cooling water is introduced into the cooling assembly, and the temperature of the printing head is reduced through water circulation; the motor is arranged at the uppermost end of the printing head assembly (2), and the lead screw and the guide rail are arranged between the motor and the printing head;
further comprising an impression cylinder;
the ink ribbon is also included; the impression cylinder is matched with the printing head to be used together, one end of the color ribbon is connected with the color-releasing coil (1), and the other end of the color ribbon is connected with the color-receiving coil (3); during printing, the printhead is depressed and the ribbon is pressed against the print medium, beneath which is the impression cylinder.

12. The thermal transfer printer of claim 1, further comprising a host computer.
13. The thermal transfer printer of claim 12, wherein the host computer is coupled to a host control system.
14. The thermal transfer printer of claim 13, wherein the host computer is connected to the host control system in a manner that includes one or more of wired, wireless, and bluetooth.
