本发明涉及驱动用户线接口电路的两个差分放大输出器级的驱动级,驱动级,一方面根据分别输入到驱动级的横向和纵向信号IT和IL,另一方面根据参考电流IR,产生四个驱动电流,并把这些电流成对地输送到差分放大输出级的两个输入端。
发明背景
用户线接口电路的目的特别是向用户线输送电流。
在交换中心,用户线在大多数时间处于空载状态,即,线路开路。因为用户线接口电路中的功率损耗构成了交换中心功率损耗的相当大的一部分,保证在空载或通话状态下,用户线接口电路的功率损耗尽可能地低是很重要的。
通常,模拟用户线接口电路的输出级是推-挽式的,并且工作在AB-类,这意味着有一定的空载电流流过该级。
一般情况下,模拟用户线接口电路的输出级由来自两个驱动级的电流驱动,该驱动级通常工作在地电位或+5V和与电话相连的额定值为-48V的电池电压之间。为了在输出级的驱动中获得足够高的线性度,输出级通常设计为工作在A-类,这意味着空载电流总是在驱动级中由地电位或+5V向电池电位流动。这个空载电流必须足够大以便能够驱动输出级到所需的最大输出电流,因此,该最大输出电流决定于输出级的电流放大能力。
因而,当用户线接口电路不输送任何电流时,相互独立的相对较大的电流,还是通过驱动级和输出级,由地电位或+5V向电池电位流动。在这种空载状态,用户线接口电路的功率消耗低是很重要的。驱动级及输出级中的空载电流占相当大的一部分。
因此,在空载状态,由驱动级和输出级引起的功率损耗应当尽可能地低。
更进一步讲,驱动级能够在全部有效电压范围内驱动各自的输出级是十分重要的。
发明简述
因此,本发明的目的是制作一种驱动级,该级与输出级相互配合,可以产生比已知的驱动级低的功率消耗,同时操作可以在全部有效电压范围内实现。
这是通过根据本发明的驱动级实现的,其中的全部四个驱动电流均大于零。

优选实施方案

在所示的实施方案中,驱动级1包括电流-镜像电路SSL,为输入驱动级1的纵向信号或电流IL产生镜像;电流-镜像电路SST,为输入驱动级1的横向信号或电流IT产生镜像;差分放大器DFL,与电流-镜像电路SSL相连;差分放大器DFT,与电流-镜像电路SST相连;电流-分流电路SUK,在所示的实施方案中,把输入到驱动级的参考电流IR分别分流到纵向和横向部分电流IRL和IRT中;和两个电压发生器V1和V2,向驱动级1中的电路输送不同的电压。
电流-镜像电路SSL和SST及差分放大器DFL和DFT和电流-分流电路是常规性的。因此,在该连接中将不再详细描述这些电路的设计,即使在附图中用与各自的电路相对应的框图表示电路的实用实施方案。
驱动级1根据输入横向电流IT、输入纵向电流IL和参考电流IR,产生四个驱动电流K1*IR-K2*IT-K3*IL、K1*IR+K2*IT+K3*IL、K1*IR+K2*IT-K3*IL、K1*IR-K2*IT+K3*IL,K1、K2和K3是比例常数。
根据本发明,驱动级1产生的四个驱动电流以这种方式成对地输送到差分放大器输出级2和3的两个输入端,使得驱动电流K1*IR-K2*IT-K3*IL和K1*IR+K2*IT+K3*IL输送到输出级3,而驱动电流K1*IR+K2*IT-K3*IL和K1*IR-K2*IT+K3*IL输送到输出级2。
由此,输出级2的输出电流将比例于IL-IT,输出级3的输出电流将比例于IL+IT。
这样,输入横向电流IT将反相驱动输出级2和3,输入纵向电流IL将同相驱动输出级2和3。
根据本发明,驱动级1产生的驱动电流均大于零,即它们都流入各自的差分放大器输出级2和3。
利用根据本发明的驱动级1,来自该驱动级的驱动电流将通过各自的输出级2和3输送到各自输出级的负电源端(未示出),并在各自的输出级中产生偏移的空载工作点。由此,推-挽式输出级的上半部分中的空载电流将作为驱动级空载电流总和的函数而减小。按照这种方式,驱动级的全部或大部分空载电流将作为输出级中的空载电流得到“利用(recover)”,这将降低输出级和驱动级中的总空载功率损耗。

Claims (2)

1.一种用于驱动用户线接口电路的两个差分放大器输出级(2,3)的驱动级(1),驱动级(1),一方面根据分别输入到驱动级的横向和纵向信号IT和IL,另一方面根据参考电流IR,产生四个驱动电流,并把这些电流成对地输送到差分放大器输出级(2,3)的两个输入端,其特征在于所有的四个驱动电流都大于零。
2.根据权利要求1的驱动级(1),其特征在于,四个驱动电流是
K1*IR-K2*IT-K3*IL、K1*IR+K2*IT+K3*IL、K1*IR+K2*IT-K3*IL、K1*IR-K2*IT+K3*IL,K1、K2和K3是比例常数,驱动电流K1*IR-K2*IT-K3*IL和K1*IR+K2*IT+K3*IL输送到一个差分放大器输出级(3),而驱动电流K1*IR+K2*IT-K3*IL和K1*IR-K2*IT+K3*IL输送到另一个差分放大器输出级(2)。
