Abstract
The invention discloses a battery pack and an electronic device using the same. The battery assembly comprises a shell, a battery core and a tab plate which are arranged in the shell, and an electric connector. The battery cell further comprises a tab, the tab is electrically connected with the tab plate, and the electric connector is electrically connected with the tab. At present, electronic devices such as portable mobile terminals, photographic equipment, electric tools, unmanned aerial vehicles, model airplane equipment and the like are mostly provided with replaceable batteries, and particularly, lithium batteries which can be repeatedly used are most widely applied.
A typical battery includes a battery case, one or more cells, tab plates, and a protective plate. Wherein the battery core is accommodated in the interior of the battery shell. The battery core is welded on the pole lug plate through a pole lug, and the pole lug is electrically connected with an electric connector of the battery through the pole lug plate, so that the battery core is electrically connected with the electric connector. The polar ear plate and the protective plate are fixedly connected with the battery shell through a limiting mechanism arranged on the battery shell. The limiting mechanism can be a limiting groove, a limiting convex column or a screw and the like.
During the use of the electronic device, especially when the electronic device is an electric tool or an unmanned aerial vehicle or other equipment, the electronic device is very easy to generate vibration. The battery cell usually accounts for 90% of the weight of the battery, and because the battery cell is fixed only by welding the tab and the tab plate, the tab can be pulled by the battery cell in the vibration process of the battery. The following detailed description will further illustrate the invention in conjunction with the above-described figures.
Detailed Description
Referring to fig. 1-3, a structure of a battery assembly 100 according to an embodiment of the invention is schematically illustrated. The battery assembly 100 includes a casing 10, a battery cell 40 accommodated in the casing 10, and electronic components (not shown) such as a circuit board accommodated in the casing 10. The casing 10 is used to protect the battery cell 40 and electronic components such as a circuit board, which are accommodated in the casing 10. The battery cell 40 may include one or more battery cells.
Referring to fig. 4, in the present embodiment, the housing 10 includes a cover 11 and a lower housing 12. A containing cavity (not shown) for containing the battery cell 40 is formed in the lower casing 12, the lower casing 12 further includes an opening portion 14 communicated with the containing cavity, and the battery cell 40 is loaded into the containing cavity through the opening portion 14.
The cover 11 is detachably connected to the lower case 12 and covers the opening 14 of the lower case 12. In the present embodiment, the cover 11 and the lower housing 12 are detachably connected by a snap-fit manner. In other embodiments, the cover 11 and the lower housing 12 may be detachably fixed by screws, glue, or other methods.
In this embodiment, the lower case 12 is further provided with a hollow portion 13 communicated with the accommodating cavity, the hollow portion 13 can be used to increase a contact area between the battery cell 40 and air, so as to perform a heat dissipation function, and meanwhile, the hollow portion 13 can also reduce the material and weight of the case 10, so as to reduce the weight of the battery assembly 100.
In the present embodiment, the lower case 12 has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape, and the lower case 12 is formed by joining a first lower case 121 and a second lower case 122. In other embodiments, the lower housing 12 may be integrally formed.
The battery assembly 100 further includes a circuit board assembly 200 disposed in the case 10 and a protection plate 50. The circuit board assembly 200 includes a tab plate 20 and an electrical connector mounting plate 30. In the present embodiment, the circuit board assembly 200 and the protection plate 50 are disposed in a receiving cavity formed in the lower case 12 of the case 10.
The battery assembly 100 further includes an electrical connector 70, and the electrical connector 70 is used for power transmission and electrical signal transmission of the battery assembly 100.
Referring to fig. 5 to 6, the battery cell 40 further includes a tab 41, and the tab 41 is welded to the tab plate 20. The tab plate 20 is arranged separately from the housing 10, i.e. the housing 10 is not fixedly connected to the tab plate 20.
The electrical connector fixing plate 30 is fixedly connected to the housing 10, and the electrical connector fixing plate 30 is used for fixing the electrical connector 70. In this embodiment, the electrical connector fixing plate 30 is fixed to the lower housing 12, and specifically, the electrical connector fixing plate 30 may be fixedly connected to the lower housing 12 by means of a snap, a fixing rib, a positioning boss, or an adhesive. The electrical connector 70 is also electrically connected to the tab 41, so that electric energy and electrical signal can be transmitted between the tab 41 and the battery cell 40. In one embodiment, the electrical connector 70 is electrically connected to the tab 41 by a wire, a printed circuit, or the like.
The protection plate 50 is fixedly connected with the housing 10. The protection plate 50 is disposed above the circuit board assembly 200 for covering and protecting the circuit board assembly 200, the tab 41 and other electronic components. In the present embodiment, the protection plate 50 is fixed in the cover 11 of the housing 10, and specifically, the protection plate 50 may be fixedly connected to the cover 11 by means of a snap, a fixing rib, a positioning boss, or an adhesive.
A gap 60 formed between the battery cell 40 and the lower casing 12 is further filled with a filler, and the filler is used for preventing the battery cell 40 from shaking in the lower casing 12. The filler can be foam, glue, adhesive tape or the like.
Referring to fig. 7, in the present embodiment, the tab plate 20 is disposed in the accommodating cavity of the lower shell 12 of the shell 10 and is separated from the shell 10. The lower housing 12 is further provided with at least one blocking portion 123, and the blocking portion 123 is used for blocking the pole lug plate 20 from coming out of the accommodating cavity of the lower housing 12. In one embodiment, the stop 123 is a protrusion, a flange or a wall protruding from an inner sidewall (not numbered) of the lower housing 12.
In the battery assembly 100 using the circuit board assembly 200 of the present embodiment, the tab plate 20 is separated from the housing 10, and even if the battery assembly 100 vibrates during use, the tab plate 20 is not subjected to a pulling force of the battery cell 40, so that the tab 41 is not deformed or broken, and the tab plate 20 and the tab 41 are not damaged by the battery assembly 100 under any conditions, thereby ensuring the use safety of the battery assembly 100 and an electronic device using the battery assembly 100.
The battery pack 100 may be used in various electronic devices such as an unmanned aerial vehicle, a motorized pan and tilt head, a remote control chariot, a consumer electronic device, and the like.

5. The battery assembly of claim 1, wherein the housing has a hollow-out portion formed thereon, and the hollow-out portion is configured to increase a contact area between the battery cell and air.
6. The battery pack of claim 1, wherein the electrical connector securing plate is fixedly attached to the housing.
7. The battery pack of claim 1 further comprising a protective plate disposed over the tab and fixedly attached to the housing, the protective plate for concealing and protecting the circuit board assembly.
8. The battery pack according to claim 7, wherein the circuit board assembly and the protective plate are disposed in a receiving cavity formed in the lower case.
9. The battery assembly of claim 1 wherein the electrical connector is further electrically connected to the tab.
