The implementations described in the exemplary embodiments below are not intended to represent all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the present disclosure, as detailed in the appended claims.
Fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of an interface assembly in an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 1, the interface module 1 includes a housing 11 and a core 12 which is assembled in the housing 11 by plugging. The positioning element 123 is disposed at the end of the core 12 along the plugging direction, the positioning element 123 may include a first mating portion 1232 perpendicular to the plugging direction, the housing 11 includes the plugging port 113, the core 12 is plugged into the plugging port 113, and the first mating portion 1232 is abutted and mated with the edge housing 11 of the plugging port 113, so as to define the position relationship between the core 12 and the housing 11 in the assembling process.
The positioning element 123 provides positioning for the insertion and assembly of the core 12 and the housing 11, avoids the phenomenon that the core 12 is not inserted or inserted in place due to lack of limit in the insertion process, and improves the assembly precision of the interface assembly 1.
In the above embodiment, the core 12 may include the reinforcing plate 121 and the wrapping member 122 surrounding the reinforcing plate 121. Wherein the wrap 122 fits to the inner surface of the housing 11, improving the mounting stability of the interface assembly 1. The wrapping member 122 may have a gap of 0.02mm to 0.03mm with the housing 11 to facilitate assembly. The reinforcing plate 121 not only helps to improve the overall strength of the core 12, and prevents the core from being bent and damaged during assembly and use, but also shields electronic components on two sides of the reinforcing plate 121. It should be noted that the wrapping member 122 may be formed by an injection molding process to surround and wrap the reinforcing plate 121, which is not limited by the present disclosure.
It should be noted that the interface module 1 according to the present disclosure may be a TYPE-C interface, and the core 12 includes two sets of pins (not labeled) which are symmetrically disposed with respect to the stiffener 121 to form a TYPE-C interface that is pluggable in both sides. The above described interface assembly 1 may also be applied to a USB-a or USB-B type interface, to which the present disclosure is not limited.
In one embodiment, the positioning member 123 may be integrally formed with the reinforcing plate 121. The positioning member 123 integrally formed with the reinforcing plate 121 has high connection strength and is convenient to install, and the positioning member 123 is prevented from being disconnected from the core body 12 due to installation stress.
In another embodiment, the positioning element 123 may also be assembled to the reinforcing plate 121 by a fastening means, an adhesive, or other fixing means, so as to reduce the processing cost of the reinforcing plate 121 and the positioning element 123. The present disclosure does not limit the arrangement of the positioning member 123.
In order to improve the positioning effect and the installation stability of the positioning member 123, the following description exemplifies a specific structure of the positioning member 123:
as shown in fig. 1, the positioning member 123 includes a connecting portion 1231 formed extending from the reinforcing plate 121 in parallel to the plugging direction, and the first mating portion 1232 is formed extending from the connecting portion 1231. The connecting portion 1231 extends from the reinforcing plate 121, and the length of the connecting member 112 in the inserting direction is such that when the first matching portion 1232 abuts against the housing 11, the reinforcing plate 121 and the opening edge of the housing 11 form the second gap 14. The depth of the second gap 14 in the plugging direction may be 0.3mm to 0.4mm, which is not limited in this disclosure. The second gap 14 allows the core 12 except for the positioning member 123 to be completely accommodated in the housing 11, thereby preventing the core 12 from being collided during the assembly process and providing an operation space for sealing the core 12 and the housing 11.
In addition, the connecting portion 1231 and the housing 11 are provided with a first gap 13 in a direction parallel to the reinforcing plate 121, and a waterproof sealing member (not labeled) is assembled in the first gap 13, so that the sealing performance of the contact portion between the core 12 and the housing 11 in the interface assembly 1 is increased. The waterproof seal may be a gel, which is not limited by this disclosure.
It should be noted that the extending direction of the first engaging portion 1232 can be parallel to the reinforcing plate 121, so that the positioning element 123 and the reinforcing plate 121 are located in the same plane, and the space occupied by the positioning element 123 is further reduced. The positioning member 123 may further include a second engaging portion 1233 extending from the connecting portion 1231 in a direction perpendicular to the reinforcing plate 121, and the first engaging portion 1232 and the second engaging portion 1233 make the positioning member 123 form a three-dimensional support in directions parallel to the reinforcing plate 121 and perpendicular to the reinforcing plate 121, so as to increase the structural stability of the positioning member 123; meanwhile, the second fitting portion 1233 may be fixedly connected to the structure of the electronic device to assist the interface assembly 1 in assembling with the electronic device.
In order to avoid the core 12 from shifting in a direction parallel to the reinforcement member 121 during the insertion and extraction process, the first fitting portion 1232 may further include a limiting structure 1234, and the limiting structure 1234 is snap-fitted with an edge of the socket 113, so as to further define the positional relationship between the core 12 and the housing 11.
In order to assemble and mount the interface module 1, the structure of the housing 11 needs to be provided, and the structure of the housing 11 is exemplarily described as follows:
as shown in fig. 2, the housing 11 may include a receiving member 111 for receiving the core 12 and a connecting member 112 assembled on the receiving member 111, where the connecting member 112 is used for assembling the interface module 1 to the electronic device, and the connecting member 112 is separately provided for the interface module 1, so that a connecting structure matched with the electronic device does not need to be provided on the receiving member 111, and the structural arrangement of the receiving member 111 is simplified. Alternatively, the connecting member 112 may be directly formed integrally with the accommodating member 111, which is not limited by the present disclosure. The connecting element 112 may protrude from the receiving element 111 in the plugging direction, so as to prevent the receiving element 111 from colliding and protect the receiving element 111 structurally.
In addition, when the connecting element 112 protrudes from the accommodating element 111 in the plugging direction, the end of the first mating portion 1232 can abut against the portion of the connecting element 112 protruding from the accommodating element 111 to provide support for the positioning element 123 in the plugging direction, so as to increase the structural stability of the interface module 1.
The present disclosure further proposes an electronic device. As shown in fig. 3, the electronic device 2 includes a main body 21 and the interface module 1 assembled to the main body 21. The housing 11 of the interface module 1 includes a receiving member 111 that receives the core 12 and a connecting member 112 assembled to the receiving member 111. The connecting member 112 may include a fixing connection portion 1121 and a clamping portion 1122, the fixing connection portion 1121 may be fixedly connected to the main body 21 through a fastener, and the clamping portion 1122 may be clamped and fixed to the main body 21. Because the interface module 1 assembled on the electronic device 2 can experience frequent plugging and unplugging matching in the using process, the structure improves the assembling stability of the interface module 1 and the electronic device 2.
The electronic device 2 may be a mobile phone, a computer, a television, etc., and the disclosure is not limited thereto.
Other embodiments of the disclosure will be apparent to those skilled in the art from consideration of the specification and practice of the disclosure disclosed herein.
