Detailed Description
Fig. 4 shows the structure of the vehicle tailgate outer panel assembly according to the invention, from fig. 4 it can be seen that the vehicle tailgate outer panel assembly according to the invention comprises a tailgate upper outer panel 1', a tailgate lower outer panel 3' and a B-lamp holder 2', wherein the tailgate upper outer panel 1' can be subdivided into a tailgate upper outer panel body 11' and a tailgate upper outer panel connection 12', wherein the tailgate upper outer panel 1' is connected to the tailgate lower outer panel 3' by means of the tailgate upper outer panel connection 12 '. Preferably, the tail door upper outer panel 1 'and the B lamp bracket 2' may be connected by spot welding or riveting, and the tail door lower outer panel 3 'and the B lamp bracket 2' may be connected by laser welding, thereby achieving a better appearance. Meanwhile, the tail gate upper outer plate 1 'and the tail gate lower outer plate 3' can also be connected by laser welding. Fig. 9 shows the detail of the connection of the tailgate upper outer panel 1' to the tailgate lower outer panel 3' by means of the tailgate upper outer panel connection 12 '. In fig. 9, the tailgate upper and outer panel connectors 12' are respectively connected to the tailgate upper and outer panel main bodies 11' and the tailgate lower outer panel 3' by flanges.
Fig. 5 and 6A show a sectional view a-a of the outer panel assembly of the tailgate of a motor vehicle according to the invention. It can be seen that the tailgate upper outer panel 1', the tailgate lower outer panel 3' and the B-lamp carrier 2 'are connected to one another in a form-fitting manner, and the B-lamp carrier 2' is connected to the tailgate upper outer panel 1 'and the tailgate lower outer panel 3' by way of its upper flange 21 'and lower flange 22', respectively. In the region of the connection of the B-lamp holder 2' to the tailgate upper outer panel 1' and the tailgate lower outer panel 3', the upper flange 21' of the B-lamp holder is located within the tailgate upper outer panel 1' and the lower flange 22' of the B-lamp holder is located outside the tailgate lower outer panel 3 '. This connection of the B-lamp carrier 2' to the tailgate upper outer panel 1' and the tailgate lower outer panel 3' contributes to the realization of the method of connecting the tailgate outer panel assembly of a motor vehicle according to the invention. In addition, the B-lamp fixture also includes a transition portion 23' for achieving this connection. As can be seen from fig. 5, the transition portion 23 'is located in the junction area of the B-lamp bracket 2', the tailgate upper outer panel 1 'and the tailgate lower outer panel 3'.
Fig. 6B shows a detail of such a transition 23' in an enlarged view. As can be seen from fig. 6B, in the transition 23 'of the B-lamp carrier 2', the flange of the tailgate top outer panel 1 'surrounds the flange 21' of the B-lamp carrier 2 'and the B-lamp carrier 2' transitions from the flange of the tailgate top outer panel 1 'by way of a curve to such an extent that its lower flange 22' is located outside the tailgate bottom outer panel 3', in fig. 6B, above the flange of the tailgate bottom outer panel 3'. And in the curved surface of the transition part 23' of the B lamp bracket, the B lamp bracket 2' and the tail door lower outer plate 3' are connected in a sealing way through sealant.
Fig. 7 and 8 each show a further embodiment of a tailgate outer panel assembly according to the invention. In contrast to the configuration of the B-lamp holder 2 'in fig. 5 with a recess for accommodating the B-lamp, in fig. 7 and 8 the tailgate lower outer panels 3 ", 3"' are configured with a recess for accommodating the B-lamp. Furthermore, in fig. 7, the downward turned-over edge 22 ″ of the B lamp holder 2 ″ extends in the direction of the main body of the B lamp holder 2 ″, whereas in fig. 8, the downward turned-over edge 22 ″ 'of the B lamp holder 2 ″' extends in the direction of the main body of the tailgate lower outer panel 3 ″. In practical applications, the extension direction of the downward turned edge of the B lamp holder can be advantageously selected between the two cases shown in fig. 7 and 8 according to the application.
FIG. 10 shows a method of attaching the outer panel assembly of the tailgate of an automobile according to the present invention. As can be seen from fig. 10, in the connection method according to the present invention, first, the upper outer plate of the tailgate and the B-lamp bracket are put into a tool for splicing; and then pushing the outer plate below the tail door into the tool and splicing the outer plate with the upper outer plate of the tail door and the B lamp bracket. The connecting method only needs one set of tooling and does not need to move the upper outer plate or the lower outer plate of the tail gate like the traditional splicing method. The method according to the invention for joining an outer panel assembly of a tailgate of a motor vehicle is particularly suitable for use in an outer panel assembly of a tailgate of a motor vehicle according to the invention.
