Background
The welding of the external corner weld of the small tube seat has extremely high universality in actual production, such as industries of boilers, pressure vessels, petrochemical industry, shipbuilding and the like, and other industrial fields.
For welding dense small tube seat workpieces with smaller pitches and long tube seats with longer lengths or bends at the top, such as long tube seats on a boiler header, the realization of automatic small tube seat welding has been a difficult problem. With the continuous improvement of the parameters of boiler products, the grade of materials for the boiler header is also improved, and for high-parameter boilers, 12Cr1MoVG and above materials become the main materials for header products. The currently applied welding materials are mainly flux-cored wires with the diameter of 1.2mm, and the flux-cored wires have large wire feeding resistance and poor welding stability due to the poor rigidity; meanwhile, most of header products mainly adopt long pipe seat structures, the welding operation space is small, and the accessibility is poor. The welding difficulty is increased due to the base material grade and the complexity of the welding structure, and high requirements are set for the welding quality. At present, the fillet welds of the small tube seats in the domestic boiler industry are all welded manually, the welding workload is large, the labor intensity is high, the welding quality is greatly influenced by human factors, the quality is not easy to guarantee, and the production efficiency is low.
The Chinese patent ZL200410025592.9 discloses an automatic welding process and device for a long tube joint of a boiler header, and relates to a non-wire filling argon arc welding (TIG) welding process for the long tube joint of the boiler header, wherein the device is formed by reforming a tube welding machine mature in the market, and comprises a rotating mechanism, a motor and the like, but is only suitable for backing welding (self-fluxing) the long tube seat joint from the outside because the filling of welding wires cannot be realized, and can not finish the welding of external corner welding seams.
In addition, chinese patent ZL201220432549.4 discloses an improved automatic submerged arc welding device for fillet weld of header nipple joints, which uses a manner of inserting the center of the pipe to perform positioning, so that only the header base can be welded, and the long header base with the elbow at the top can not be welded.
Therefore, there is a need in the boiler industry for header tube socket welding and other industries with similar manufacturing processes for an apparatus that can achieve automated welding of small tube socket external corner welds to greatly improve automation, production efficiency and product manufacturing quality.
