Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a touch display module and electronic device, this touch display module can include: a glass cover plate and a display assembly; the bonding layer is positioned between the glass cover plate and the display assembly and used for bonding the display assembly to the bottom surface of the glass cover plate and forming an edge gap between the glass cover plate and the display assembly at the preset edge of the touch display module; a connecting piece, the connecting piece comprising: a first portion embedded in the edge gap and a second portion located outside the edge gap; the connecting sheet assembles the touch display module into a concave structure on a shell structure of the electronic equipment through the second part. Through the technical scheme disclosed by the invention, the narrow frame design of the electronic equipment can be realized, and the structure of the electronic equipment is favorably optimized.

Technical Field
The disclosure relates to the technical field of terminals, in particular to a touch display module and an electronic device.
Background
As the screen size of the electronic device increases, the size of the electronic device itself has to be increased. However, although the increase of the screen size helps the user to obtain better visual effect, the increase of the size of the electronic device will bring negative effect on carrying, holding and the like of the user, and affect the use experience of the user.
Disclosure of Invention
The present disclosure provides a touch display module and an electronic device to solve the deficiencies in the related art.
According to a first aspect of the embodiments of the present disclosure, a touch display module is provided, which includes:
a glass cover plate and a display assembly;
the bonding layer is positioned between the glass cover plate and the display assembly and used for bonding the display assembly to the bottom surface of the glass cover plate and forming an edge gap between the glass cover plate and the display assembly at the preset edge of the touch display module;
a connecting piece, the connecting piece comprising: a first portion embedded in the edge gap and a second portion located outside the edge gap; the connecting sheet assembles the touch display module into a concave structure on a shell structure of the electronic equipment through the second part.
Optionally, the preset edge includes edges of two sides of the touch display module.
Optionally, the outer side wall of the glass cover plate is flush with the outer side wall of the connecting piece.
Optionally, one or more connecting pieces are arranged at each preset edge.
Optionally, the first portion of the connecting tab is located outside of the active display area of the display assembly.

Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, like numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The implementations described in the exemplary embodiments below are not intended to represent all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the present disclosure, as detailed in the appended claims.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram illustrating a touch display module in a related art, and as shown in fig. 1, the touch display module may include: the display device comprises a glass cover plate 1, a display assembly 2 and an adhesive layer 3 positioned between the glass cover plate 1 and the display assembly 2, wherein the adhesive layer 3 is used for adhering the display assembly 2 to the bottom surface of the glass cover plate 1. In order to increase the bonding area between the display module 2 and the glass cover plate 1 as much as possible in the related art, the bonding layer 3 needs to be spread over the entire top surface of the display module 2 to ensure good bonding between the display module 2 and the glass cover plate 1.
When the touch display module is assembled to the housing structure 4 of the electronic device, as shown in fig. 1, the touch display module needs to be embedded into the recessed structure 41 of the housing structure 4. In order to realize the structural connection between the touch display module and the housing structure 4, a step structure 42 as shown in fig. 1 needs to be formed at the side wall of the recessed structure 41, and the specification of the glass cover plate 1 needs to be greater than that of the display element 2, so that the glass cover plate 1 forms an edge 11 with a width a compared with the display element 2, and the width of the edge 11 is matched with that of the step structure 42, so that when the touch display module is embedded into the recessed structure 41, the glass cover plate 1 can be adhered to the top surface of the step structure 42 through the bottom surface of the edge 11.
It can be seen that, in the related art, when both side edges of the glass cover plate 1 are bonded to the step structure 42 in the housing structure 4, the length of a × 2a is at least increased to 2a, and actually, based on the above bonding form in the related art, the specification of a is usually at least 1mm, so that the specification of the touch display module needs to be increased by at least 2mm, and for electronic devices such as mobile phones, etc., whose overall specification is not large, the overall aesthetic degree of the touch display module is obviously greatly affected.
Therefore, the present disclosure solves the above problems in the related art by improving the structure of the touch display module and the way of matching the touch display module with the housing structure 4 of the electronic device.
Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram illustrating a cooperation between a touch display module and a housing structure of an electronic device according to an exemplary embodiment, where as shown in fig. 2, the touch display module in this embodiment may include:
a glass cover plate 1 and a display assembly 2;
the bonding layer 3 is positioned between the glass cover plate 1 and the display component 2, the bonding layer 4 is used for bonding the display component 2 to the bottom surface of the glass cover plate 1, and an edge gap 31 positioned between the glass cover plate 1 and the display component 2 is formed at the preset edge of the touch display module;
a connecting piece 5, the connecting piece 5 comprising: a first portion 51 embedded in the edge gap 31 and a second portion 52 located outside the edge gap 31; wherein, the connecting sheet 5 assembles the touch display module into the concave structure 41 on the housing structure 4 of the electronic device through the second portion 52.
In the present embodiment, on the one hand, it should be ensured that the bonding area of the bonding layer 3 can provide a sufficiently large bonding strength to ensure the bonding fit between the glass cover plate 1 and the display assembly 2; on the other hand, the width of the edge gap 31 should be not less than the width of the first portion 51 of the connecting sheet 5, so as to achieve a secure fit between the connecting sheet 5 and the glass cover plate 1, the display module 2, and the adhesive layer 3.
In this embodiment, fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view of the touch display module assembled to the housing structure 4, and it can be seen from fig. 3 that the connecting sheet 5 is used for assembly connection, and the width of the edge of the glass cover 1 only needs to be increased by the thickness b of the connecting sheet 5 at most, i.e. the outer side wall of the glass cover 1 is flush with the outer side wall of the connecting sheet 5, and the width a shown in fig. 1 does not need to be increased, and actually, in order to achieve sufficient connection strength, the specification of a is at least 1mm, and for the connecting sheet 5, for example, when the connecting sheet 5 is formed by using a metal sheet, the thickness b of the connecting sheet 5 can reach 0.2mm or even less, so that the structure shown in fig. 3 can save at least the width of 2 × (1-0.2) to 1.6mm compared with the structure shown in fig. 1.
1. Touch display module
In the above embodiments, only the structures of the glass cover plate 1, the display module 2, and the like in the touch display module are described, and in order to implement the touch control function, the touch display module further includes a touch layer; based on different touch display module structures, the positions of the touch layers are different. For example, in one case, the touch layer may be integrated into the glass cover plate 1, and the glass cover plate 1 in the embodiment of the present disclosure may be considered to include the touch layer; in another case, the touch layer may be integrated into the display device 2, and the display device 2 in the embodiment of the disclosure may be considered to include the touch layer; alternatively, various other configurations are possible.
Of course, no matter what form the touch layer adopts, the structural characteristics of the touch display module of the present disclosure are not affected, that is, the connection between the touch display module and the housing structure 4 is realized through the connecting sheet 5.
2. Connecting sheet 5
1) Set up the position
In this embodiment, the connecting sheet 5 may be located at a preset edge of the touch display module, and the preset edge may be any edge. For example, as shown in fig. 4, assuming that the width direction of the electronic device is the x direction, the height direction is the y direction, and the thickness direction is the z direction, the preset edges may be an edge y1 and an edge y2 of the electronic device in the y direction.
Of course, whether the tab 5 is located at any edge of the touch display module, it should be ensured that the first portion 51 of the tab 5 is located outside the effective display Area (AA) of the display component, so as to avoid blocking the display content of the display component 2.
2) Structural form
Fig. 5 is a schematic perspective view illustrating a touch display module according to an exemplary embodiment, and as shown in fig. 5, if the connecting sheet 5 is disposed along the y-direction edge of the touch display module, the connecting sheet 5 may be equal to the specification of the touch display module in the y-direction, and only one connecting sheet 5 needs to be disposed at each edge.
Fig. 6 is a schematic perspective view illustrating another touch display module according to an exemplary embodiment, and as shown in fig. 6, assuming that the connection pads 5 are disposed along the y-direction edge of the touch display module, a plurality of connection pads 5 may be disposed at each edge, for example, two connection pads 5 are disposed at each edge in fig. 6. The plurality of connecting pieces 5 may have the same specification, but connecting pieces 5 having different specifications may be used.
Of course, there is no definite correlation between the number of connecting pieces 5 and the specification. For example, when a connecting piece 5 is provided at each edge, for example, the edge is a y-direction edge as shown in fig. 5, the specification of the connecting piece 5 in the y-direction may be smaller than that of the y-direction edge, but is not necessarily equal to that of the y-direction edge.
3) Connection form
In an exemplary embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, after the first portion 51 of the connecting sheet 5 is inserted into the edge gap 31, the outer sidewall of the second portion 52 of the connecting sheet 5 may be adhered to the inner sidewall of the casing structure 4 by providing glue, double-sided tape, etc. on the outer sidewall of the second portion 52 of the connecting sheet 5 or the inner sidewall of the casing structure 4 so that the touch display module is assembled in the recessed structure 41 after the touch display module is embedded in the recessed structure 41.
As shown in fig. 7, since the outer side wall of the second portion 52 of the connecting sheet 5 can be adhered to the inner side wall of the housing structure 4, when the first portion 51 of the connecting sheet 5 is inserted into the edge gap 31, the bottom surfaces of the second portion 52 of the connecting sheet 5 can be flush with the bottom surface of the display module 2 and can be attached to the bottom surface of the recessed structure 41 of the housing structure 4, so that the structural improvement requirement of the housing structure 4 is lower.
In another exemplary embodiment, as shown in fig. 8, assuming that the first end of the connecting piece 5 is inserted into the edge gap 31, the second end extends out of the edge gap 31 and forms the second portion 52, the second end of the connecting piece 5 may be provided with a snap fit structure (not shown) matching a snap fit structure (not shown) in a predetermined receptacle 43 on the bottom surface of the recess structure 41. Wherein the connecting piece 5 is dimensioned such that: when the touch display module is assembled inside the recessed structure 41 of the housing structure 4, the second end of the connecting sheet 5 can be inserted into the predetermined insertion hole 43, so that the engaging structure can be engaged with the engaging structure, thereby obtaining the structure shown in fig. 3.
In addition, in the above embodiment, the first end of the connecting sheet 5 is inserted into the edge gap 31, the second end forms a bending part (not labeled) at the edge of the display module 2 and extends along the outer wall of the display module 2, wherein the first portion 51 is formed between the bending part and the first end, and the second portion 52 is formed between the bending part and the second end, for example, the cross section of the connecting sheet 5 may be L type, wherein one side of L type is the first portion 51, and the other side is the second portion 52. when the connecting sheet 5 with the cross section of L type is adopted, the connecting sheet 5 may be attached to the side walls of the display module 2, the glass cover plate 1, the housing structure 4, etc., so as to reduce the occupied space as much as possible, thereby realizing a narrow frame of the electronic device.

Claims (10)

1. A touch display module, comprising:
a glass cover plate and a display assembly;
the bonding layer is positioned between the glass cover plate and the display assembly and used for bonding the display assembly to the bottom surface of the glass cover plate and forming an edge gap between the glass cover plate and the display assembly at the preset edge of the touch display module;
a connecting piece, the connecting piece comprising: a first portion embedded in the edge gap and a second portion located outside the edge gap; the connecting piece assembles the touch display module into a recessed structure on a shell structure of the electronic equipment through the second part, and the second part extends along the outer wall of the display assembly.
2. The touch display module of claim 1, wherein the predetermined edge comprises two side edges of the touch display module.
3. The touch display module of claim 1, wherein an outer sidewall of the glass cover plate is flush with an outer sidewall of the connecting tab.
4. The touch display module of claim 1, wherein one or more of the connection pads are disposed at each predetermined edge.
5. The touch display module of claim 1, wherein the first portion of the connecting tab is located outside of an effective display area of the display assembly.
6. The touch display module of claim 1, wherein the first end of the connecting tab is inserted into the edge gap, and the second end of the connecting tab forms a bent portion at the edge of the display module and extends along the outer wall of the display module; wherein the first portion is formed between the bending portion and the first end, and the second portion is formed between the bending portion and the second end.
7. The touch display module of claim 6, wherein the connecting sheet is L-shaped in cross section.
8. The touch display module of claim 6, wherein an outer sidewall of the second portion of the connecting sheet is bonded to an inner sidewall of the housing structure to assemble the touch display module into the recessed structure.
9. The touch display module assembly of claim 6, wherein the second end of the connecting piece is provided with a snap-fit structure, and the snap-fit structure is matched with a snap-fit structure in a preset jack on the bottom surface of the recessed structure; the extending length of the second end is greater than the length of the outer wall of the display component, so that when the touch display module is assembled into the recessed structure, the second end of the connecting piece can be inserted into the preset jack, and the clamping structure is connected with the clamping matching structure in a matched mode.
