本发明基本上涉及电连接器,特别地但是不排他地涉及用于与电设备(例如耳机)一起使用的插头和插口。
背景技术
已知地,插口连接器和插头连接器能够使用户设备(例如头戴耳机)连接至主机设备(例如乘客娱乐系统)。当插头插入插口的时候,用户可能会相对于插头与插口之间的连接的点而移动头戴耳机。如果用户试图超出缆线(其将插头连接至头戴耳机)的长度移动头戴耳机,那么力会通过缆线而被施加至插头和插口。这意味着缆线、插口和/或插头可能由于施加的力而损坏。
我们认识到提供一种改进的电连接器将是有利的。
发明内容
根据本发明,提供一种电插头和电插座。
插头和/或插座可以包括具体实施方案中和/或附图中的一个或更多特征。

具体实施方式
参考图1A和图1B,显示了用于电设备的插头1,该插头1包括壳体和在壳体的前侧且向前方延伸的两个插销4和5。如同下文将要描述的,插头有利地布置成易于从插座/插口10方便地移除。特别有利的是在用户(例如连接至插头的音频耳机的佩戴者)超出缆线20(其将所述设备连接至插头)的长度移动的情况下,插头可以以快速断路的方式而容易地断开其配接,而不会导致对插头或插座的损坏。
插销4和5的每一个提供电触点用于连接至插座10中的各自的触点。插头1连接至头戴耳机装置,其中每个插销分别提供左音频信号和右音频信号。
在插头1的前表面上还设置电触点3,该电触点3具有短粗的轮廓。电触点3提供电回传接触(electrical return contact)。该接触可以视为短暂回传(short return)或音频回传(audio return)。触点3的长度比插销4和5短很多,可以认为触点3与插销4和5相比具有区区可忽略的长度。触点3具有基本上可以忽略的长度并包括位于插销4和5中间的平坦金属板(该金属板被磁性地吸引至磁铁)。
可以理解插销4和5与标准插头(例如ARINC 628标准)上的那些插销相比具有更短的长度。这至少部分地有助于使插头从插座上移除。还注意的是每一个插销的远端或尖端2为球形的,由此进一步有助于将插销从插座10拔出。然而可以理解的是,尖端可以为与球形相反的尖点构造。
插座10或插口单元包括壳体11,其布置成适配于标准(或非标准)飞机孔用于飞行中的乘客娱乐系统。壳体11包括布置成与插头1接合的插头接合区域。该接合区域包括两个孔6和7。孔6和7布置成容纳插头的相应的插销4和5。在每个孔之内设置有电触点装置,且每一个电触点装置布置成与每个插销的相应的传导部分接触并为传导部分提供合适的电信号。
插座10进一步包括这样的电触点,该电触点包括基本上位于孔6和7的中心的磁性体8。磁性体8嵌入插座的前表面中。在使用中,磁性体用来提供保持力从而有助于保持插头与插座处于连接状态。然而,磁化强度提供的保持力没有大到阻止插头从音频插口插座脱离。电触点为插头1提供普通音频回传,并布置成与插头的电触点3电接合。可以理解的是尽管磁性体触点8可以为导电材料的(铁质)磁性片,但是在其它实施方案中其可以包括两部分结构,该两部分结构包括第一部分(其为导电的并旨在传导电信号)和第二部分(其为有磁性的),其中该第一部分主要用于传导电信号,而该第二部分用于提供磁性吸引。例如,第一部分可以位于中心而第二部分为围绕第一部分的环形形状,反之亦然。
孔6和7及磁性电触点8设置在电绝缘部分14中,该电绝缘部分14保持这些特征彼此电绝缘。
插头1通过缆线20而连接至音频耳机。
插座10包括电缆/线路,所述电缆/线路连接至来自飞机上的乘客娱乐系统的音频信号源。在孔6和7的每一个内部设置许多电端子,所述电端子沿着插座中的凹进区域的长度隔开,并布置成与电插头的插销的相应接触区域接触。从图2可以看到,插座内部的每一个电触点通过附图标记12a、12b以及12c显示,它们沿着插座的每一个相应部件的深度隔开。这些触点布置成根据插销的长度而与插入其中的插头的不同导电部分接触。从图2中还可以看到(如同虚线所示)在插头的壳体之内线路直至插销4和5的每一个及触点3。
在使用中,插座10安装在飞机中的乘客座椅中或毗邻飞机中的乘客座椅。如果乘客希望使用机载娱乐系统,那么他可以将(他的音频耳机的)插头1推入插座10。这样做,插销4和5容纳在相应的孔6和7中,回传触点3以面对面接触的方式被磁性电触点8吸住(与磁性电触点8电连接)。磁性吸引力存在于插座与插头之间。这确保在使用的同时插头1保持连接至插座10。在用户带着耳机而同时不经意地超出缆线的长度移动的情况下,这将使拉力施加至插头1。这可能由于用户试图起身离开他的座椅但是在此之前忘记移除耳机而发生。使用常规的插头时这将导致潜在的破坏力施加至耳机和插头两者,因为插头将保留在插座中。此外,使用插头1时,容纳在插座中的插销4和5的长度以及磁性保持力的强度为使得当这样的拉力施加至插头的时候,插头以快速断路的方式与插座脱离,由此使可能施加的潜在破坏力最小。有利地,即使拉力以较高的角度施加至插头(由此减小了拉力/矢量分量),而插头也不会不脱离。通过缆线接入套9的有效长度能够促进快速断路过程,该缆线接入套9引起施加至插头的杠杆作用,由此进一步有助于脱离。缆线接入套9可以为半刚性结构或柔性结构。
有利地,插座10是向后兼容的,这体现为其还能够允许已知的插头(具有电插销)与其一起使用,例如插头为包括插销并且不同的端子沿着该插销的长度隔开(且彼此电绝缘)的类型。关于插入这样已知的插头类型,(已知的)插销的这些端子或每一个端子将接触位于孔内部的相应的端子触点。因此,插座10具有容纳插头1或已知的插头类型的通用性,故而不限于使用前者。通过示例,图3显示已知的“标准”两销型插头50,其中插头50的两个插销51和52的每一个包括两个电触点(套管触点和尖端触点,它们彼此电绝缘)。有利地,插座10能够容纳这样的插头并与其一起进行完整的操作。插座10还兼容单销型插头(例如3.5mm立体插头)。为了获得这种对多样的插头的兼容性,插座之内的端子的线路布置成使得来自多触点插销(它们是单销型插头或两销型插头)的信号按正确的路线发送。
虽然上述实施方案在头戴耳机领域中实现特定的应用(其在(飞行中的或其它)乘客娱乐的领域中具有特定的优点),但是改进的实施方案还可以实现与插头和插座布置有关的应用,以便于通常用于数据的传输,或者实际上用于任何电信号(而不仅仅是音频信号和/或电力)的传输。这可以通过使至少两个插座的每个孔的触点连接而得以实现,从而对于与插座10兼容的每种不同类型的插头,电信号均按正确的路线发送。

Claims (16)

1.一种插头,其用于电设备,所述插头包括壳体和两个电插销,所述电插销从壳体延伸用于被插座容纳并用于与插座电连接,所述插头进一步包括电触点,该电触点还布置成用于与所述插座电接触,其中,所述插销比所述电触点更长,突出部分布置成有助于使所述插头从插座脱离,此外,所述电触点布置成被磁性吸引至插座,由此提供所述插头与所述插座之间的磁性保持力。
2.根据权利要求1所述的插头,其中,所述电触点为基本上平坦的。
3.根据权利要求1或权利要求2所述的插头,其中,所述电触点具有基本能够忽略的长度。
4.根据前述任一项权利要求所述的插头,其中,所述电插销具有基本上相同的长度。
5.根据前述任一项权利要求所述的插头,其中,所述电触点包括金属板。
6.根据权利要求1所述的插头,其中,所述电触点布置成提供与所述插座面对面的连接。
7.根据前述任一项权利要求所述的插头,其中,所述电触点布置成提供回传信号的连接。
8.一种电插座,其包括磁性电触点,所述磁性电触点提供用于电插头的电连接,所述磁性电触点布置成与所述插头的电触点接合,所述磁性电触点布置成当插头附接至所述插座的时候提供磁性保持力至插头,还提供与所述插头的电连接。
9.根据权利要求8所述的电插座,其中,所述磁性电触点包括布置成与所述插头接合的基本上平坦的表面。
10.根据权利要求8或9所述的电插座,其中,所述磁性电触点布置成提供电回传路径至插头。
11.根据权利要求8-10的任一项所述的电插座,其中,所述磁性电触点包括金属板。
12.根据权利要求8-11的任一项所述的电插座,其包括两个隔开的电插销容纳孔。
13.根据权利要求8-12的任一项所述的电插座,其布置成能够兼容权利要求1和7的任一项的插头。
14.根据权利要求13所述的电插座,其布置成兼容两销型电插头和单销型电插头。
