Example 1
According to an embodiment of the present invention, an embodiment of an apparatus for a hotspot access system is provided.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of an alternative hotspot access system according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 1, the system includes: one or more wireless hotspot devices 102 and a client 104.
The wireless hotspot device may provide the client 104 with the basis information, i.e., hotspot information, for selecting a corresponding target hotspot from one or more wireless hotspot devices 102. Further, the hotspot information includes: basic information and extended information. The basic information includes: SSID of the wireless hotspot, encryption mode of the wireless hotspot and signal strength information of the wireless hotspot; the extension information may include at least one of: the position information of the wireless hotspot, the maximum data transmission rate allowed by the wireless hotspot, the maximum access number allowed to access the wireless hotspot, the access number of the current access wireless hotspot, the charging information of the access wireless hotspot and the like.
One or more wireless hotspot devices 102 are configured to issue, to a client, broadcast messages or response messages of respective corresponding wireless hotspots, where each broadcast message or response message carries extension information of a corresponding wireless hotspot, where the extension information includes at least one of: the method comprises the following steps of obtaining position information of a wireless hotspot, the maximum data transmission rate allowed by the wireless hotspot, the maximum access number allowed to access the wireless hotspot, the access number of the current access wireless hotspot and charging information of the access wireless hotspot; and the client is used for acquiring the extension information corresponding to the one or more wireless hotspots from the broadcast message or the response message, determining a target hotspot from the one or more wireless hotspots according to the extension information corresponding to each wireless hotspot, and accessing the determined target hotspot. That is, in implementation, each wireless hotspot may provide its own extended information to the client in various ways, for example, an active broadcast way and a passive response way.
The access process adopting the active broadcast mode is as follows: one or more wireless hotspots 102 broadcast respective broadcast messages to the client, wherein each broadcast message carries extension information of a corresponding wireless hotspot; the client 104 acquires the extended information corresponding to the one or more wireless hotspots from the received broadcast message, and determines a target hotspot from the one or more wireless hotspots according to the extended information corresponding to each wireless hotspot, and accesses the determined target hotspot.
Specifically, the wireless hotspot may broadcast information such as its location, an allowed maximum data transmission rate, a current access number, an allowed maximum access number, and a charging condition of accessing the wireless hotspot in an extension field of a broadcast frame, so as to be referred to when the client selects the hotspot. For example, as shown in fig. 2, the structure of a broadcast message (e.g., beacon message) may include: beacon body, extension field and FCS, wherein the extension field may include: location information, maximum/current access number, maximum allowed data transfer rate and charging information.
The access process using the passive response mode is as follows: after receiving a request command for requesting extended information sent by a client, one or more wireless hotspots 102 feed back respective response messages to the client according to the request command, wherein the response messages carry the extended information of the corresponding wireless hotspots; the client 104 acquires the extended information corresponding to the one or more wireless hotspots from the received response message, and determines a target hotspot from the one or more wireless hotspots according to the extended information corresponding to each wireless hotspot, and accesses the determined target hotspot.
In this way, the wireless hotspot may also issue information such as its own location, an allowed maximum data transmission rate, a current access number, an allowed maximum access number, and a charging condition of accessing the wireless hotspot in an extension field of the broadcast frame for the client to refer to when selecting the hotspot. For example, as shown in fig. 2, the structure of a broadcast message (e.g., beacon message) may include: beacon body, extension field and FCS, wherein the extension field may include: location information, maximum/current access number, maximum allowed data transfer rate and charging information.
In addition, the client 104 may be a client with a WiFi module, such as a mobile phone or a tablet computer; the wireless hotspot device may be a wireless router. The wireless router mainly comprises four functional modules, which are respectively: the system comprises a main control subsystem, a network side transceiving subsystem, a positioning module and a WiFi transceiving subsystem. The main control subsystem is used for managing a unified control element of subsystems such as a network side, WiFi and GPS and the like and is used for completing data routing; the network side receiving and transmitting system is used for providing a data connection function and controlling a network system, charging conditions and the like; the positioning module is mainly used for acquiring and analyzing position information; the WiFi transceiving subsystem is used for establishing a WiFi personal hotspot so as to access other WiFi devices (such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer and the like) into the personal hotspot.
Through the embodiment, when the client acquires the hotspot information of the wireless hotspot, the client can acquire the information such as the SSID added with the corresponding hotspot, the encryption mode of the wireless hotspot, the signal strength of the wireless hotspot and the like, and can add the extended information on the basis, and the client can vividly display the information to a user. Therefore, in an application scene with more public hotspots, a user can be helped to select a required hotspot.
