中医认为，头痛的发病原因主要在感受外邪，情志内伤，饮食不节，久病致瘀的基础上造成肝、脾、肾等脏腑功能失调，风袭脑络，痰浊阻滞，瘀血阻络所引起的。

本发明实施例中的中药组合物按常规的水煎法制取药剂。具体方法如下：将组方的中药原料放入容器中，加冷水漫过药面，浸泡15～20分钟，再加水没过药面约6厘米，进行第一次煎煮，未沸前采用武火煎煮，沸后用文火煎煮20～30分钟；第二次煎煮，加水没过药面约4厘米，水沸后煎煮15～20分钟。两次煎煮取汁，合并。
本发明以实施例1所给出的一种治疗头痛的中药组合物，做临床疗效总结如下：
一、一般性资料：本中药组合物应用于临床观察病例100例，男56例，女44例，年龄20～75岁。
二、用法用量：临床应用时，一日一剂，水煎两遍取汁约400ml，分早、晚两次空腹温服。六天为一疗程。治疗期间忌生冷辛辣刺激之物。
三、疗效标准：
(1) 痊愈：头痛症状完全消失，随访半年未见复发；
(2) 显效：头痛症状基本消失，或明显减轻；
(3) 有效：头痛有所减轻，发作次数减少；
(4) 无效：头痛症状无减轻。
四、治疗效果：该临床观察病例中，服药2-5个疗程，痊愈76例，随访未见复发；显效14例，有效7例，无效3例。治疗期间未发生毒副作用。
五、典型病例：
病例1：
韩某，男，27岁。患者自述：头痛2 年有余，以两侧太阳穴处疼痛为甚，反复发作，发作时头痛难忍，时伴有恶心、呕吐等症状，且记忆力减退，眠差。曾多次诊治效果不佳。服用本发明中药组合物制备的药剂3个疗程，症状消失，完全治愈。随访至今无复发。
病例2 ：
杨某，女，49 岁。头痛反复发作2 年，近日加重，头痛时伴有胀感，并伴有神疲乏力，注意力不集中，食欲不振，每日痛苦不堪。服用本发明中药组合物制备的药剂2个疗程，症状基本消失，继续服用3个疗程，完全治愈。

1. 一种治疗头痛的中药组合物，其特征在于：其中药原料及重量份配比为：黄芪 10-40份、桑叶5-20份、天麻10-30份、决明子5-20份、丹参10-40份、党参10-30份、新塔花5-20份、白术10-30份、僵蚕5-20份、白芷10-40份、紫苏5-25份、葛根10-30份、郁金5-25份、薄荷5-20份、青皮5-25份、夏枯草5-20份、砂仁5-20份、三七5-20份、七叶莲5-20份、桂枝5-20份、苍耳子10-40份、冬凌草5-25份、甘草5-20份。
2.根据权利要求1所述一种治疗头痛的中药组合物，其特征在于：其中药原料及重量份配比为：黄芪 30份、桑叶12份、天麻20份、决明子10份、丹参30份、党参20份、新塔花10份、白术20份、僵蚕10份、白芷30份、紫苏15份、葛根20份、郁金15份、薄荷10份、青皮15份、夏枯草10份、砂仁10份、三七12份、七叶莲10份、桂枝10份、苍耳子30份、冬凌草15份、甘草10份。
