液晶显示(LCD)装置是使用液晶的光学性质来显示图像的光传输型显示装置。因此,LCD装置包括提供光至液晶面板的背光单元。背光单元根据光源的位置划分为直下型(direct type)背光单元和边缘型(edge type)背光单元。
为了提高从光源发出的光的特性,所述特性例如是亮度均匀性、最大亮度及类似特性,LCD装置的背光单元包括光学片,该光学片包括棱镜片或类似光学片。

液晶面板110可包括阵列基板111和附着成使得保持盒间隙的滤色器基板113以及置于阵列基板111与滤色器基板113之间的液晶层。
阵列基板111可包括形成为彼此交叉的多条栅极线和多条数据线。像素限定于栅极线和数据线的交叉处或在这些交叉处附近,薄膜晶体管(TFT)设置在这些像素中的每个像素中且所述薄膜晶体管连接至像素电极。
滤色器基板113可包括对应于像素的R色、G色和B色滤色器和围绕所述滤色器中的每个滤色器并覆盖阵列基板111的栅极线、数据线和TFT的黑矩阵。此外,滤色器基板113可进一步包括覆盖所述滤色器和黑矩阵的公共电极。
驱动器115可安装在液晶面板110的一侧上,例如安装在阵列基板111的一侧上。驱动器115可响应于外部信号而产生用于驱动液晶面板110的驱动信号。该驱动信号可被供应至阵列基板111的栅极线和数据线,以在像素电极与公共电极之间产生电场。
背光单元120可设置在液晶面板110之下,并提供光至该液晶面板110。背光单元120可包括光源单元150、导光板130、光学片125和反射片140。背光单元120的部件可容纳于引导面板160中且固定于引导面板160中。
光源单元150可包括光源151和电路板153。
光源151可配置为发光二极管(LED)。多个光源151可安装成在电路板153的上表面上彼此间隔开。
电路板153可配置为柔性印刷电路板(FPCB),且可包括形成于诸如聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)或聚酰亚胺之类的塑料膜、柔性材料上的布线图案。
电路板153可设置成与在导光板130的后表面上的反射片140(待描述于后文)平行。电路板153的上表面的一侧可连接至导光板130的后表面,而其另一侧可与引导面板160的下部接触。
导光板130可设置成与光源单元150相邻,并通过导光板130的上表面发出从这些光源151所提供的光。导光板130可在内部反射里面的光并使光通过其上表面。参照图3,导光板130可具有板形或可具有楔形,在楔形中导光板130与光源151相邻的部分比其另外的部分更厚。
光学片125设置在导光板130的上表面上。光学片125可散射并会聚通过导光板130的上表面所发出的光,并把光提供至液晶面板110。
光学片125可包括一个或多个棱镜片121和保护片123。在该实施方式中,为了减小光学片125的厚度,通过结合两个棱镜片而形成的单个棱镜片121和保护片123。
例如,棱镜片121可通过使散射光的散射片和会聚光的聚光片结合来形成,这样的棱镜片121可散射并会聚从导光板130所提供的光。
保护片123设置在棱镜片121与导光板130之间,并且保护棱镜片121不被导光板130损坏。保护片123可形成为延伸至引导面板160的下端的侧壁的上部。
第一阻光膜170可附于光学片125的上表面。第一阻光膜170可从引导面板160的上端的侧壁的上部延伸至光学片125的上表面以便得以附着。施加粘合剂至第一阻光膜170的至少一个或两个表面,以固定液晶面板110和背光单元120。第一阻光膜170可由黑(或其他适合)色的材料形成,以吸收从背光单元120所输出的光而免于向外泄漏或免于泄漏至液晶面板110的边缘。
反射片140可附于导光板130的后表面以便得以设置。反射片140可将通过导光板130的后表面所泄漏的光反射至导光板130的上表面。
反射片140可设置成与光源单元150的电路板153平行。考虑到附件公差(attachment tolerance),可在反射片140的端部与电路板153的端部之间保持特定间隙d。
而且,反射片140可具有比光源单元150的电路板153的厚度小的厚度。因此,反射片140和电路板153可具有高度台阶。
引导面板160可具有四边框架形,该四边框架形包括阶梯形侧壁,即上端和下端侧壁。引导面板160可容纳光源单元150、导光板130、光学片125和反射片140,并将它们固定在其中。
第二阻光膜180可附于电路板153的后表面和反射片140的后表面的一部分。第二阻光膜180可从电路板153的后表面延伸至反射片140的后表面的一侧,以便得以附着。
图4是图示于图2中的第二阻光膜的截面图。
参照图4,第二阻光膜180可包括基膜181和粘合剂层183。
基膜181可由黑色聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)材料形成。
可施加粘合剂层183至基膜181的一个表面的整体。粘合剂层183可形成为双面胶带。
第二阻光膜180可进一步包括用于减少静电的抗静电层。抗静电层可涂覆于基膜181的一个表面上,也就是粘合剂层183与基膜181的一个表面之间,或者可涂覆于基膜181的另一个表面上。可通过将不透明传导金属材料与树脂混合并涂覆该混合物来形成抗静电层。
返回参照图2和图3,第二阻光膜180可固定光源单元150的电路板153与反射片140的一侧。第二阻光膜180可屏蔽通过由于电路板153的端部与反射片140的端部之间的间隙d的缘故而暴露的区域的光泄漏,该区域即导光板130的后表面的一部分的区域。
此外,第二阻光膜180可具有比电路板153的厚度和反射片140的厚度小的厚度。换句话说,因为第二阻光膜180具有小的厚度,所以它比反射片140和电路板153更柔性。因此,即使由于反射片140与电路板153之间的厚度差的缘故而在反射片140的端部与电路板153的端部之间形成台阶(或不均匀表面部),第二阻光膜180也不会从反射片140或电路板153剥离(或脱离),这是因为附于反射片140和电路板153的第二阻光膜180具有高柔性。
如上所述,在该实施方式的背光单元中,第二阻光膜180可附着成屏蔽反射片140的后表面与光源单元150的电路板153的后表面上的间隙(d),反射片140的后表面与光源单元150的电路板153的后表面由特定间隙(d)互相间隔开,且设置成在导光板130的后表面上彼此平行。
因此,即使诸如在现有技术中反射片140不覆盖电路板板153的后表面,因为第二阻光膜180附于反射片140的后表面和电路板153的后表面,所以泄漏至暴露于反射片140与电路板153之间的导光板130的后表面的光也可被屏蔽或有效地阻挡。而且,因为第二阻光膜180具有比反射片140的厚度和电路板153的厚度小的厚度从而具有高柔性,所以即使由于反射片140与电路板153之间的厚度差的缘故而形成高度台阶,第二阻光膜180从电路板153或反射片140的后表面被剥离(或脱离)的现象也可被抑制。
图5是根据本公开内容的另一实施方式的LCD装置的截面图。
除了保护膜145附于反射片的后表面的配置之外,图示于图5中的LCD装置101与根据上述参照图2和图3的实施方式的LCD装置100实质相同。因此,对于相同的元件使用相同的附图标记,并且仅为了避免重复将省略这些元件的具体描述。
参照图5,根据该实施方式的LCD装置101可包括液晶面板110和背光单元120’。
背光单元120’可设置在液晶面板110之下,并且提供光至液晶面板110。背光单元120’可包括光源单元150、导光板130、光学片125和反射片140。这些部件可容纳于引导面板160中且固定在引导面板160中。
光源单元150可包括配置为多个LED的光源151和电路板153,在电路板153上,光源151安装成在电路板153的上表面上彼此间隔开。导光板130的后表面上的特定间隙可将电路板153与反射片140间隔开,且电路板153可设置成与反射片140平行。
导光板130可设置成与光源单元150相邻,并且导引从光源151所提供的光通过导光板130的上表面。
光学片125可设置在导光板130的上表面上。光学片125可散射并会聚通过导光板130的上表面所提供的光,并且把光提供至液晶面板110。光学片125可包括至少一个棱镜片121和至少一个保护片123。
第一阻光膜170可附于光学片125的上表面,以屏蔽或阻挡光的泄漏。阻光膜170可从引导面板160的上端的侧壁的上部延伸至光学片125的上表面,以便得以附着。
反射片140可附于导光板130的后表面,且可把通过导光板130的后表面所泄漏的光反射至导光板130的上表面。考虑到附件公差,反射片140可设置成通过特定间隙而与光源单元150的电路板153间隔开,且设置成与电路板153平行。
而且,保护膜145可附于反射片140的后表面,即附于与反射片140附着到导光板130的一个表面相对的反射片140的另一个表面,以便保护反射片140。保护膜145可附着成覆盖反射片140的实质整个后表面。
第二阻光膜180可附于电路板153的后表面和反射片140的后表面的一部分。第二阻光膜180可从电路板153的后表面延伸至保护膜145的后表面的一侧,以便得以附着。
粘合剂层可形成于第二阻光膜180的一个表面上,且光源单元150的电路板153与保护膜145的一侧可由粘合剂层来固定。第二阻光膜180可屏蔽通过由于电路板153的端部与反射片140或保护膜145的端部之间的间隙(d)的缘故而暴露的区域的光泄漏。
同时,因附于反射片140的后表面的保护膜145的缘故,反射片140和保护膜145与电路板153之间的厚度差可能是不显著的。因此,在第二阻光膜180中的在反射片140的端部与电路板153的端部之间很少形成台阶或不均匀部分。因此,第二阻光膜180不剥离或脱离。
如上所述,在该实施方式的背光单元120’中,因为保护膜145附于反射片140的后表面以减小反射片140、保护膜145与电路板153之间的厚度差,所以可使第二阻光膜180中台阶的形成最小化。而且,即使反射片140不覆盖电路板153的后表面,泄漏至导光板130的后表面的光也可被第二阻光膜180所屏蔽。
根据本公开内容的一些实施方式的背光单元可包括:光源单元,该光源单元包括电路板和安装于电路板上的多个光源;导光板,该导光板与光源单元相邻;反射片,该反射片在导光板的后表面处且与电路板平行,使得反射片的端部与电路板的端部间隔开;和阻光膜,该阻光膜覆盖电路板的后表面和反射片的后表面的一部分,且配置成屏蔽通过在电路板与反射片之间的间隙所泄漏的光。
阻光膜可包括黑色基膜和在黑色基膜的一个表面的整体上的粘合剂层。该阻光膜具有比反射片的厚度小的厚度。
背光单元可包括覆盖反射片的后表面的保护膜。阻光膜覆盖电路板的后表面和保护膜的后表面的一部分。
背光单元可包括导光板的上表面上的至少一个光学片、配置成容纳光源单元、该导光板、该反射片、和该光学片的引导面板、和第二阻光膜,该第二阻光膜覆盖引导面板的侧壁的上端和光学片的上表面的一部分。
根据本公开内容的一些实施方式的液晶显示装置可包括:液晶面板和设置在液晶面板之下且配置成提供光至液晶面板的背光单元,其中该背光单元:包括光源单元,该光源单元包括电路板和安装于电路板上的多个光源;设置成与该光源单元相邻的导光板;反射片,该反射片附于导光板的后表面且设置成与电路板平行使得反射片的端部与电路板的端部间隔开;和阻光膜,该阻光膜附着成覆盖电路板的后表面和反射片的后表面的一部分,且配置成屏蔽通过在电路板与反射片之间的间隙所泄漏的光。
阻光膜包括黑色基膜和在黑色基膜的一个表面的整体上的粘合剂层。黑色基膜和粘合剂层一起配置成具有足够的柔性以覆盖电路板与反射片之间的边界处的台阶或不均匀部分,且还配置成阻挡该台阶或不均匀部分处的光泄漏。阻光膜具有比反射片的厚度小的厚度。
根据本公开内容的一些实施方式的膜可包括:基层,该基层有一定的厚度且由具有足够阻光性质的材料制成;和粘合剂层,该粘合剂层有一定的厚度,具有使得粘合至该基层的内表面的特性的外表面,和具有使得在其一个区域粘合至电路板的外表面且在其另一区域粘合至反射片的特性的内表面,基层和粘合剂层一起配置成具有足够的柔性以覆盖电路板与反射片之间的边界处的台阶或不均匀部分,且还配置成阻挡该台阶或不均匀部分处的光泄漏。
基层经由粘合剂层附于电路板的外表面的整体。基层和粘合剂层结合在一起的总厚度小于反射片的厚度,该反射片是显示装置的一部分。基层的外表面与在显示装置的边缘处的引导面板齐平。在粘合剂层与反射片之间存在保护膜。前述的实施方式和优点仅仅是示例性的,并不被认为限制本公开内容。本发明的教导很容易应用于其他类型的设备。本说明书意在举例说明,并不限制权利要求的范围。许多替换、修改和变化对于本领域技术人员来说将是显而易见的。这里所描述的典型实施方式的特征、结构、方法和其他特性可以以各种方式组合,从而获得附加和/或可选择的典型实施方式。

Claims (9)

1.一种背光单元,所述背光单元包括:
光源单元,所述光源单元包括电路板和安装于所述电路板上的多个光源;
导光板,所述导光板与所述光源单元相邻;
反射片,所述反射片在所述导光板的后表面处且与所述电路板平行,使得所述反射片的端部与所述电路板的端部间隔开;和
阻光膜,所述阻光膜覆盖所述电路板的后表面和所述反射片的后表面的一部分,且配置成屏蔽通过在所述电路板与所述反射片之间的间隙所泄漏的光,
其中所述阻光膜具有比所述反射片的厚度小的厚度,
其中所述阻光膜包括:
黑色基膜;和
粘合剂层,所述粘合剂层在所述黑色基膜的一个表面的整体上,
其中所述黑色基膜和所述粘合剂层一起配置成具有足够的柔性以覆盖在所述电路板与所述反射片之间的边界处的不均匀部分或台阶,且还配置成阻挡所述台阶或不均匀部分处的光泄漏。
2.如权利要求1所述的背光单元,进一步包括:
保护膜,所述保护膜覆盖所述反射片的后表面。
3.如权利要求2所述的背光单元,其中所述阻光膜覆盖所述电路板的后表面和所述保护膜的后表面的一部分。
4.如权利要求1所述的背光单元,进一步包括:
至少一个光学片,所述至少一个光学片在所述导光板的上表面上;
引导面板,所述引导面板配置成容纳所述光源单元、所述导光板、所述反射片和所述光学片;和
第二阻光膜,所述第二阻光膜覆盖所述引导面板的侧壁的上端和所述光学片的上表面的一部分。
5.一种液晶显示装置,所述液晶显示装置包括:
液晶面板;和
背光单元,所述背光单元设置在所述液晶面板之下且配置成提供光至所述液晶面板,
其中所述背光单元包括:
光源单元,所述光源单元包括电路板和安装在所述电路板上的多个光源;
导光板,所述导光板设置成与所述光源单元相邻;
反射片,所述反射片附于所述导光板的后表面上且设置成与所述电路板平行,使得所述反射片的端部与所述电路板的端部间隔开;和
阻光膜,所述阻光膜附着成覆盖所述电路板的后表面和所述反射片的后表面的一部分,且配置成屏蔽通过在所述电路板与所述反射片之间的间隙所泄漏的光,
其中所述阻光膜有比所述反射片的厚度小的厚度,
其中所述阻光膜包括黑色基膜和在所述黑色基膜的一个表面的整体上的粘合剂层,
其中所述黑色基膜和所述粘合剂层一起配置成具有足够的柔性以覆盖在所述电路板与所述反射片之间的边界处的不均匀部分或台阶,且还配置成阻挡所述台阶或不均匀部分处的光泄漏。
6.一种用于背光单元的膜,其中所述背光单元包括:光源单元,所述光源单元包括电路板和安装于所述电路板上的多个光源;导光板,所述导光板与所述光源单元相邻;反射片,所述反射片在所述导光板的后表面处且与所述电路板平行,使得所述反射片的端部与所述电路板的端部间隔开;和所述膜,其中所述膜包括:
基层,所述基层有一定的厚度且由具有足够阻光性质的材料制成;和
粘合剂层,所述粘合剂层有一定的厚度,具有外表面和内表面,所述外表面具有使得粘合至所述基层的内表面的特性,所述内表面具有使得在所述内表面的一个区域粘合至所述电路板的外表面且在所述内表面的另一个区域粘合至所述反射片的特性,
所述基层和所述粘合剂层一起配置成具有足够的柔性以覆盖在所述电路板与所述反射片之间的边界处的台阶或不均匀部分,且还配置成阻挡所述台阶或不均匀部分处的光泄漏,
其中所述基层和所述粘合剂层结合在一起的总厚度小于所述反射片的厚度,所述反射片是显示装置的一部分。
7.如权利要求6所述的膜,其中所述基层经由所述粘合剂层附于所述电路板的外表面的整体上。
8.如权利要求6所述的膜,其中所述基层的外表面与在所述显示装置的边缘处的引导面板齐平。
9.如权利要求8所述的膜,其中在所述粘合剂层与所述反射片之间存在保护膜。
