Abstract

The embodiments of the present invention are a power control method, user equipment, and base station. The power control method comprises: a user equipment (UE) determines whether or not a total power of transmitting uplink data simultaneously on a cellular network and on a Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi) exceeds an upper limit; and, if yes, then the UE transmits the uplink data to a base station on the basis of an uplink data transmission policy, where the uplink data transmission policy is used for preventing the total power from exceeding the upper limit. The embodiments of the present invention solve the problem of transmission failure that may occur when a UE needs to transmit uplink data simultaneously on a cellular network and on a Wi-Fi, and further solve the problem of high electromagnetic radiation due to excessively high uplink transmission power.
