Abstract
The invention discloses an authentication method and a smart card. The authentication method includes the steps: if the fact that the smart card is in a transaction is monitored, the smart card collects second fingerprint feature data of a cardholder; a judgment is made for whether or not pre-stored first fingerprint feature data matches with the acquired second fingerprint feature data; if yes, authentication is passed. The authentication method and the smart card according to the technical scheme have the advantages that the method is simple, and the cardholder is authenticated safely.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to communication smart card application technologies, and in particular, to an identity authentication method and a smart card.
Background
The current smart card fingerprint identification system mainly comprises: the fingerprint identification system outside the intelligent card and the fingerprint identification system inside the intelligent card. Wherein,
in the external fingerprint identification system of the intelligent card, the intelligent card is only used as a storage medium of fingerprint data, the identification process of the fingerprint is finished outside the intelligent card, when identity authentication is carried out, external card reading equipment acquires the fingerprint data from the inside of the card through a special interface, and the external fingerprint identification system of the card compares the fingerprint data input by a user with the fingerprint data acquired from the intelligent card to finish fingerprint comparison, thereby finishing the process of the identity authentication. Obviously, the external fingerprint identification system of the smart card has the following defects: the internal fingerprint data of the card needs to be read by an external card reading device, which undoubtedly exposes the fingerprint data of the user to an external terminal device, and brings potential safety hazards to the whole system.
And in the fingerprint identification system in the smart card, the fingerprint comparison process is completed in the smart card, external terminal equipment does not need to obtain user fingerprint data from the inside of the card, only the fingerprint data input by a card user is required to be transmitted to the card, after the comparison process is completed by the card, the comparison result is output to the terminal equipment, the safety level of the whole system is greatly improved, but the fingerprint acquisition process still depends on the external terminal equipment, the hardware system is required to be reconstructed by bank card terminal equipment, that is, the fingerprint acquisition process of the fingerprint identification system in the smart card depends on the terminal equipment, the hardware system is required to be reconstructed by the smart card terminal equipment, for example, a fingerprint acquisition device is added on a POS machine or other equipment, and the application is more complicated.

acquiring a pre-stored fingerprint matching algorithm;
and matching the first fingerprint characteristic data and the second fingerprint characteristic data according to the obtained fingerprint matching algorithm.
Further, the method further comprises:
when the first fingerprint characteristic data is matched with the second fingerprint characteristic data, the intelligent card informs the terminal that the identity authentication is passed, and subsequent operation is carried out;
when the first fingerprint characteristic data is not matched with the second fingerprint characteristic data, recording the number of mismatching times, and continuously collecting the second fingerprint characteristic data of the card holder; and when the number of mismatching times exceeds the preset threshold number, the smart card informs the terminal of transaction termination.

the intelligent chip is used for sending an acquisition instruction to the fingerprint feature acquisition module when the intelligent card is monitored to perform transaction; receiving second fingerprint characteristic data, acquiring prestored first fingerprint characteristic data, and judging whether the prestored first fingerprint characteristic data is matched with the acquired second fingerprint characteristic data; and when the first fingerprint characteristic data and the second fingerprint characteristic data are matched, the identity verification is passed.
And the fingerprint characteristic acquisition module is used for receiving an acquisition instruction of the intelligent chip, acquiring second fingerprint characteristic data of the card holder according to the acquisition instruction, and transmitting the acquired second fingerprint characteristic data of the card holder to the intelligent chip.
The smart card further comprises a fingerprint feature storage module, which is used for storing first fingerprint feature data provided by a user when the user transacts the smart card;
and the intelligent chip is also used for storing a fingerprint matching algorithm.
Furthermore, the intelligent card also comprises a liquid crystal display screen which is connected with the intelligent chip and used for prompting a user to input fingerprint information after being activated by the intelligent chip;
fingerprint characteristic acquisition module specifically is used for:
after receiving an acquisition instruction of the intelligent chip, acquiring fingerprint information of a card holder;
and processing the acquired fingerprint information of the card holder to generate second fingerprint characteristic data.
Further, the smart chip is also configured to: when the first fingerprint characteristic data is matched with the second fingerprint characteristic data, the terminal is informed that the identity authentication is passed, and subsequent operation is carried out; when the first fingerprint characteristic data and the second fingerprint characteristic data are not matched, recording the number of unmatched times, and sending an acquisition instruction to a fingerprint characteristic acquisition module;
the fingerprint characteristic acquisition module is also used for continuously acquiring second fingerprint characteristic data of the card holder when the first fingerprint characteristic data is not matched with the second fingerprint characteristic data;
and the intelligent chip is also used for informing the liquid crystal display screen to display the transaction termination or informing the terminal of the transaction termination when the unmatched times exceed the preset threshold times.

sending an instruction for acquiring first fingerprint characteristic data to a fingerprint characteristic storage module;

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. It should be noted that the embodiments and features of the embodiments in the present application may be arbitrarily combined with each other without conflict.

The fingerprint matching algorithm is a point pattern matching algorithm, namely a space topological structure matching algorithm based on a minutiae coordinate model, and is also a type of fingerprint matching algorithm which is most widely applied at present. The specific application of the point pattern matching algorithm is a conventional technical means for those skilled in the art, and is not intended to limit the present invention, and will not be described herein.
Step 102: judging whether the pre-stored first fingerprint characteristic data is matched with the acquired second fingerprint characteristic data; and when the first fingerprint characteristic data and the second fingerprint characteristic data are matched, the identity verification is passed.
The method specifically comprises the following steps: acquiring a pre-stored fingerprint matching algorithm;
matching the first fingerprint characteristic data and the second fingerprint characteristic data according to the obtained fingerprint matching algorithm; and (6) matching.
It should be noted that how to process the collected fingerprint information of the card holder to generate the second fingerprint feature data belongs to the conventional technical means known by those skilled in the art, and is not intended to limit the present invention, and will not be described herein again.
Further, the method further comprises:
when the first fingerprint characteristic data is matched with the second fingerprint characteristic data, the intelligent card informs the terminal that the identity authentication is passed, and subsequent operation is carried out;
when the first fingerprint characteristic data is not matched with the second fingerprint characteristic data, recording the number of mismatching times, and continuously collecting the second fingerprint characteristic data of the card holder; and when the number of mismatching times exceeds the preset threshold number, the smart card informs the terminal of transaction termination.
The intelligent card can inform the termination of the terminal transaction through a built-in liquid crystal display screen, and can also send an instruction to the terminal to inform the termination of the terminal transaction.
According to the invention, the fingerprint information of the card holder is acquired through the smart card, so that the defect of dependence on external terminal equipment is avoided; the second fingerprint characteristic data and the first fingerprint characteristic data are matched through the smart card, subsequent operation is carried out according to a matching result, the fingerprint data in the smart card does not need to be read by external equipment, the loss of the fingerprint data in the smart card is prevented, and the identity identification of a card holder is simply and safely realized.
Fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of the smart card of the present invention, as shown in fig. 2, including: intelligent chip and fingerprint characteristic collection module. Wherein,
the intelligent chip is used for sending an acquisition instruction to the fingerprint feature acquisition module when the intelligent card is monitored to perform transaction; receiving second fingerprint characteristic data, acquiring prestored first fingerprint characteristic data, and judging whether the prestored first fingerprint characteristic data is matched with the acquired second fingerprint characteristic data; and when the first fingerprint characteristic data and the second fingerprint characteristic data are matched, the identity verification is passed.

Further, the smart card also comprises a fingerprint feature storage module which is used for storing first fingerprint feature data provided by a user when the smart card is transacted.
Furthermore, the intelligent card also comprises a liquid crystal display screen which is connected with the intelligent chip and used for prompting the user to input fingerprint information after being activated by the intelligent chip.
Fingerprint characteristic acquisition module specifically is used for:
after receiving an acquisition instruction of the intelligent chip, acquiring fingerprint information of a card holder;
and processing the acquired fingerprint information of the card holder to generate second fingerprint characteristic data.
Further, the smart chip is also configured to: when the first fingerprint characteristic data is matched with the second fingerprint characteristic data, the terminal is informed that the identity authentication is passed, and subsequent operation is carried out; and when the first fingerprint characteristic data and the second fingerprint characteristic data are not matched, recording the unmatched times and sending an acquisition instruction to the fingerprint characteristic acquisition module.
And the fingerprint characteristic acquisition module is also used for continuously acquiring the second fingerprint characteristic data of the card holder when the first fingerprint characteristic data is not matched with the second fingerprint characteristic data.
And the intelligent chip is also used for informing the liquid crystal display screen to display the transaction termination or informing the terminal of the transaction termination when the unmatched times exceed the preset threshold times.

judging whether the pre-stored first fingerprint characteristic data is matched with the acquired second fingerprint characteristic data; and when the first fingerprint characteristic data and the second fingerprint characteristic data are matched, the identity verification is passed.
2. The smart card of claim 1, wherein the method is preceded by: the smart card stores first fingerprint feature data provided by a user when transacting the smart card, and a fingerprint matching algorithm.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein the determining whether the first fingerprint feature data and the second fingerprint feature data match comprises:
acquiring a pre-stored fingerprint matching algorithm;
and matching the first fingerprint characteristic data and the second fingerprint characteristic data according to the obtained fingerprint matching algorithm.
4. The identity verification method of claim 3, further comprising:
when the first fingerprint characteristic data is matched with the second fingerprint characteristic data, the intelligent card informs the terminal that the identity authentication is passed, and subsequent operation is carried out;
when the first fingerprint characteristic data is not matched with the second fingerprint characteristic data, recording the number of mismatching times, and continuously collecting the second fingerprint characteristic data of the card holder; and when the number of mismatching times exceeds the preset threshold number, the smart card informs the terminal of transaction termination.
5. A smart card, comprising: the system comprises an intelligent chip and a fingerprint feature acquisition module; wherein,
the intelligent chip is used for sending an acquisition instruction to the fingerprint feature acquisition module when the intelligent card is monitored to perform transaction; receiving second fingerprint characteristic data, acquiring prestored first fingerprint characteristic data, and judging whether the prestored first fingerprint characteristic data is matched with the acquired second fingerprint characteristic data; and when the first fingerprint characteristic data and the second fingerprint characteristic data are matched, the identity verification is passed.
And the fingerprint characteristic acquisition module is used for receiving an acquisition instruction of the intelligent chip, acquiring second fingerprint characteristic data of the card holder according to the acquisition instruction, and transmitting the acquired second fingerprint characteristic data of the card holder to the intelligent chip.
6. The smart card of claim 5, wherein the smart card further comprises a fingerprint feature storage module for storing first fingerprint feature data provided by a user while transacting the smart card;
the intelligent chip is also used for storing a fingerprint matching algorithm.
7. The smart card of claim 5, further comprising a liquid crystal display coupled to the smart chip for prompting a user to input fingerprint information after being activated by the smart chip;
the fingerprint characteristic acquisition module is specifically used for:
after receiving an acquisition instruction of the intelligent chip, acquiring fingerprint information of a card holder;
and processing the acquired fingerprint information of the card holder to generate the second fingerprint characteristic data.

The smart card of any of claims 6-7, wherein the smart chip is further configured to: when the first fingerprint characteristic data is matched with the second fingerprint characteristic data, the terminal is informed that the identity authentication is passed, and subsequent operation is carried out; when the first fingerprint characteristic data is not matched with the second fingerprint characteristic data, recording the number of unmatched times, and sending an acquisition instruction to a fingerprint characteristic acquisition module;
the fingerprint characteristic acquisition module is further used for continuously acquiring second fingerprint characteristic data of the card holder when the first fingerprint characteristic data is not matched with the second fingerprint characteristic data;
and the intelligent chip is also used for informing the liquid crystal display screen to display the transaction termination or informing the terminal of the transaction termination when the unmatched times exceed the preset threshold times.
9. The smart card of claim 6, wherein the smart chip is specifically configured to:
sending an instruction for acquiring first fingerprint characteristic data to the fingerprint characteristic storage module;
receiving first fingerprint feature data returned by the fingerprint feature storage module;
