背景技术
控制阀通常用在过程设备中来控制流体(例如,气体、液体等)或任何其它物质经由与其连接的管道和/或导管的流动。控制阀典型地包括一个或多个入口和出口,并包括流动控制元件或部件(例如,阀闸板、活塞、阀塞、闭合件等),其运行以控制流体通过流体耦接入口和出口的孔的流动。
发明内容
一个描述的示例性装置包括阀笼、具有密封压盖的阀塞以及至少部分布置在所述密封压盖中的密封组件。所述密封组件包括具有楔形突起的支撑环和限定容纳所述突起的凹槽的密封件。压力作用于所述支撑环,以将所述突起推入所述凹槽中。所述突起和所述凹槽之间的接合推动所述密封件与所述阀笼的内表面密封接合。

这里公开的示例涉及用于阀(例如,向上流动阀、向下流动阀)的密封组件,其密封接合阀笼和/或阀塞的动态密封表面。密封组件可至少部分围绕阀塞并包括壳体和限定凹槽的环形部分和/或套筒,柔性芯部至少部分布置在凹槽中。在一些示例中,套筒由较薄的不锈钢(例如,0.004英寸)制成和/或包括较薄的不锈钢(例如,0.004英寸),柔性芯部由柔性石墨制成和/或包括柔性石墨。尽管不锈钢被提及为用来制造套筒的示例材料,但是例如因科(Inconel)镍合金等任何其它材料都可使用。
为了使密封件(例如,壳体、芯部)向外推动并密封接合动态密封表面,芯部限定了容纳支撑环的楔形部和/或突起的楔形凹槽。实际中,支撑环上的压力将楔形部推入楔形凹槽中,并向外推动和/或径向展开密封件与动态密封表面密封接合。密封件和阀笼,特别是壳体和阀笼之间的这种接合基本上阻止了其间流体的泄漏。在一些示例中,为了减少阀塞上的摩擦载荷以及节流状态下的磨损,偏置元件和/或弹簧布置在芯部和支撑环之间,以在作用于支撑环上的压力低于特定阈值时推动突起远离凹槽。偏置元件和/或弹簧可以是Belleville垫圈、盘簧等。
图1示出了具有阀体102的已知的流体阀100,阀体102包括在入口106与出口108之间的流体流动通路104。阀帽110通过多个紧固件112耦接到阀体102,并且包括用于容纳阀杆116的孔114。阀杆116的一端118从阀帽110延伸出,且可操作地耦接至致动器,阀杆116的相反端120耦接至流体控制元件或阀塞(例如,压力平衡阀塞)122。
为了控制通过阀体102的流体流动,在入口106与出口108之间设置阀内件123来提供某些流动特性(例如,降低因流过流体阀100的流体流动而产生的噪声和/或气穴现象)。在该示例中,阀内件123包括悬挂式阀笼124、阀塞122和阀杆116。
为了防止在阀笼124的内表面或动态密封表面126与阀塞122的外表面128之间的流体泄漏,阀塞122设有密封组件130(最清楚地示出在图2中)。现参照图2,密封组件130包括支撑环136、支承环138、保持器140和至少部分地围绕弹簧(例如,螺旋弹簧)134的密封件132。
一旦阀内件123布置于流体阀100中,密封件132被弹簧134推动而与动态密封表面126接合,以基本上防止在表面126与表面128之间的泄漏。另外,在对流体阀100加压时,密封件132加载支撑环136,使得支撑环136的外边缘142与动态密封表面126接合,支撑环136的内边缘144与密封压盖148的表面146接合,其中,密封件132至少部分地布置于密封压盖148中。
图3示出了示例性的密封组件300,其能够用来实施这里公开的实施例。在该实施例中,密封组件300包括保持器140、示例性的支撑环和/或凸部302和示例性的密封件和/或凹部304。在一些实施例中,密封件304包括壳体和/或环形部分306,芯部308和支撑环302至少部分地布置在壳体306中。将芯部308放置在壳体306中至少部分地保护芯部308免受损坏和/或腐蚀,并使硬化耐磨的壳体306代替芯部308来密封接合阀笼124。在一些实施例中,芯部308由石墨制成,壳体306由不锈钢制成。
为了使支撑环302加载密封件304,在该实施例中,支撑环302包括锥形的、楔形的环形突起和/或突出部310,其能够至少部分容纳在芯部308的锥形和/或楔形的环形凹槽312中。在一些实施例中,突出部310形成在大约15°到45°之间的角。在一些实施例中,当支撑环302相对于芯部308移动时,支撑环302可滑动地接合壳体306的内表面314和/或由壳体306的内表面314引导。
在操作中,当流体阀100被加压时,作用于支撑环302的表面316上的压力朝着凹槽312推动支撑环302和突出部310。将突出部310容纳于凹槽312中加载密封件304,使得壳体306的外表面和/或边缘318密封接合动态密封表面126。在一些实施例中,为了减少节流状态下壳体306和阀笼124之间的摩擦载荷,偏置元件和/或弹簧320布置在芯部308和支撑环302之间。当作用于支撑环302的表面314上的压力低于特定阈值时,弹簧320推动突出部310离开凹槽312。
尽管示例性的密封组件300被图示为用于向上流动阀,但是密封组件300还可用于向下流动阀。在这些实施例中,密封组件300可从图3中所示旋转180°,并且可以不使用保持器140。然而,在一些实施例中,密封组件300可包括与密封保持器140不同或相似的密封保持器。

Claims (15)
