Abstract

The embodiments of the present invention provide a method for acquiring a UE capacity, a terminal and a base station. The method for acquiring a UE capacity in the present invention comprises: a target base station receiving a switching request sent by a core network device or a source base station, wherein the switching request carries first UE capacity information; and if the first UE capacity information represents an incomplete capacity of a UE, after the UE is switched to the target base station, the target base station determining whether a complete capacity of the UE is acquired or not according to the first UE capacity information. The present invention realizes that in the process of switching, the target base station can judge whether the received UE capacity information is complete or not, and determine whether the complete capacity of the UE is acquired or not according to the first UE capacity information.
