【技术领域】
本发明涉及一种电连接器组合及其组装方法,尤其涉及一种具有支撑件的电连接器组合及其组装方法。
【背景技术】
中国台湾专利申请公开第201214899号公开了一种电连接器,该电连接器包括外壳及固持于绝缘本体的端子模组,所述外壳具有向前延伸的对接部及自外壳后端面凹设的容置腔,所述对接部具有对接面,对接面设有缺口,所述端子模组自外壳的后端面组装于容置腔,端子模组具有容置于容置腔中的绝缘体及固持于绝缘体的导电端子,导电端子的接触部自缺口突出而裸露于对接面,端子模组组装完成后通过向缺口注塑塑胶材料密封绝缘体与端子模组。然而,若端子模组插入容置腔后的位置发生卡位或偏差,向缺口内注塑塑胶材料密封绝缘体及端子模组就会使塑胶遮盖导电端子的接触部,从而导致接触不良。
所以,希望设计一种新型的电连接器组合以改善上述问题。
【发明内容】
本发明所要解决的技术问题在于提供一种电连接器组合及其组装方法,该电连接器组合能够通过支撑件的设置使端子模组处于合适的位置。
为解决上述问题,本发明采用如下技术方案:一种电连接器组合,其包括电连接器,该电连接器包括外壳及收容于外壳内的端子模组,所述外壳具有向前延伸的对接部及自外壳后端面凹设的容置腔,所述对接部的一个侧面为对接面,端子模组包括绝缘体及固持于绝缘体的第一端子,端子模组插入容置腔,绝缘体具有相对设置的第一面及第二面,第一端子具有凸伸出绝缘体第一面的接触部,所述容置腔内安装有支撑件,支撑件抵压于绝缘体的第二面,而使接触部裸露于上述对接面。
与现有技术相比,本发明具有如下有益效果:支撑件的设置使得端子模组插入外壳的容置腔后能够取得正确位置,结构简单,制造方便。
为解决上述问题,本发明采用如下技术方案:一种电连接器组合的制造方法,其特征在于:该组装方法包括以下步骤:提供第一端子,所述第一端子具有接触部;向第一端子注塑液体绝缘材料,该液体绝缘材料冷却形成绝缘体,第一端子与绝缘体形成端子模组,绝缘体具有第一面及与第一面相对的第二面,第一端子的接触部裸露于绝缘体的第一面;提供外壳,所述外壳具有对接部及自对接部的后端面凹设的容置腔,所述对接部的一侧面为对接面,对接面凹设形成与容置腔连通的缺口部;将端子模组组装于容置腔内;提供支撑件,将支撑件自外壳后端面插入容置腔,并支撑件抵持于绝缘体的第二面,此时,绝缘体的第一面抵持于容置腔的一个内壁面,第一端子的接触部凸出于缺口部。
与现有技术相比,本发明具有如下有益效果:当端子模组插入外壳的容置腔,通过插入支撑件支撑端子模组,使得端子模组取得正确位置,结构简单,制造方便。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1,本发明电连接器组合包括电连接器100及其对接连接器200。电连接器100为线缆连接器,其后端连接有扁平状的线缆300,对接连接器200为板端连接器,其用于连接电路板。结合图2,所述电连接器100包括外壳10、固持于外壳10中的端子模组20及支撑件30。
参图2,所述外壳10为一体式注塑成型结构,其包括平板部12及自平板部12的前端面101向前延伸的对接部11。平板部12的后端面102凹设有容置腔103(结合图3)。所述对接部11的上、下两侧面及左、右两侧面分别朝容置腔103的中心倾斜延伸而使得对接部11呈锥形设置(图5及图9更清楚显示)。所述对接部11具有对接面104,所述对接面104凹设有与容置腔103相连通的缺口部105。在最佳实施例中,上述缺口部105分为三个彼此独立的子缺口部105a、105b、105c,上述三个子缺口部由两个连接肋106隔开且沿对接面104的纵长方向排列开,即在对接面104上沿垂直于对接方向的横向排列开。中间的子缺口部105b较两侧的子缺口部105a、105c大。
所述端子模组20包括绝缘体21及若干第一端子22,第一端子22埋设在绝缘体21中。所述绝缘体21具有相对设置的第一面211及第二面212。第一端子22具有埋设于绝缘体21的固持部221、自固持部221向上凸伸出第一面211的接触部222及自固持部221向后延伸出绝缘体21的连接部223,接触部222是贴附在固持部221,当然,在冲压端子的金属厚度足够的情况下,接触部222可以是与固持部221一体的。在最佳实施例中,端子模组20分成三个彼此间隔开的子端子模组20a、20b、20c,子端子模组彼此并排且在後端有连接于一起。支撑件30为平板状,其形状与端子模组大致相同。
参图3所示,端子模组20首先插入外壳10的容置腔103中,绝缘体21的第一面211位于缺口部105的下方,三个子端子模组20a、20b、20c对应位于外壳10的三个子缺口部105a、105b、105c下方。然后,在绝缘体21的第二面212及容置腔103的内壁面1031之间插入支撑件30(参阅图4)。第一端子22的连接部223位于支撑件30的后方。支撑件30抵压于绝缘体21的第二面212,第一面211抵持于容置腔103的另一内壁面而使得第一端子22的接触部222凸设于缺口部105并裸露于对接部11的对接面104。在本实施方式中,所述支撑件30的结构与绝缘体21的结构相同,在具体实施时,也可将支撑件30设置成多个小的支撑块,在端子模组插入容置腔103后,将支撑块塞至绝缘体21与容置腔103的间隙处,使得第一端子22的第一面211抵持至容置腔103的内壁面而使第一端子22的接触部222与对接部11的对接面104相平齐。最后,请参阅图5,为了使电连接器100的外观更加美观,密封性更好,向对接部11的三个子缺口部105a、105b、105c内注塑液体的塑胶材料15,所述塑胶材料15密封端子模组20,使得端子模组20与外壳10紧密连接,所述塑胶材料15凝固后与对接部11的对接面104相平齐(结合图5)。
请参阅图6及图7,所述对接连接器200包括绝缘本体50、固持于绝缘本体50的第二端子60、遮覆于绝缘本体50的第一遮蔽壳体71及第二遮蔽壳体72。所述绝缘本体50的前端面凹设有收容电连接器100的对接部11的对接腔501。所述对接腔501对应电连接器100的对接部11,亦设置为锥形结构。所述第一遮蔽壳体71组装于绝缘本体50,该第一遮蔽壳体71的顶壁711前边缘设有缺口7111,该缺口7111卡持于绝缘本体50的上表面凸设的挡柱51。后壁712、两个侧壁714分别连接于顶壁711,四个壁包覆在绝缘本体50的顶面、后面及两个侧面。第二端子60的焊接部61位于后壁712的下方并向后超出后壁712。第二遮蔽壳体72具有遮覆于绝缘本体50的底面的主体部721及自主体部721两侧缘延伸并位于第一遮蔽壳体71的侧壁714外侧的延伸部722。所述第一遮蔽壳体71的侧壁714与第二遮蔽壳体72的延伸部722通过点焊技术而结合在一起。
结合图8及图9,所述第二端子60沿纵长方向一排设置于对接腔501中,其中位于第二端子60两外侧的两根端子是接地端子62a,对应电连接器100的两个连接肋106的两根端子是接地端子62b,本实施方式中,所述外壳10为导电结构,接地端子62b直接与外壳10接触,接地端子62a与外壳10的连接肋106接触。因此电连接器100无需额外设置接地端子即可与对接连接器达成接地效果,结构简单。
图10至图12为本发明的第二实施方式,主要是对接连接器200增加了一对锁扣件80,电连接器100的结构没有变更。下面仅介绍变更点,相同结构采用相同的标号及特征,且不再详细叙述。请参阅图11,所述锁扣件80包括固持部85、自固持部85向前延伸的接触臂81、自固持部向下延伸的焊接部82及自固持部向外弯折的搭接部83。绝缘本体50的後端面502设有向前延伸的孔洞504,孔洞504与对接腔501连通,锁扣件8自后端面502插入该孔洞504,直至接触臂81位于对接腔501的两侧。焊接部82延伸出绝缘本体50的后端面502,搭接部83则包覆于绝缘本体50的外侧面。结合图10,锁扣臂81设有向对接腔501突出的弧状接触部811,在电连接器100插入对接连接器200后,所述接触部811夹持在电连接器100的对接部11两侧,借此以增加对接连接器200与电连接器100的夹持力。
参阅图12,所述对接连接器200的绝缘本体50的上表面凹设有贯穿绝缘本体50的后端面502的凹陷部52,第一遮蔽壳体71的顶壁711向下冲压形成下凹部7111。凹陷部52具有水平面521及连接于水平面并与水平面521呈钝角设置的倾斜面522。后壁712连接于下凹部7111,下凹部7111自相对后壁712的另一端缘延伸有向上的抵持部718。下凹部7111遮覆于水平面521,抵持部718抵持于倾斜面522,所述抵持部718为梳状。锁扣件80的搭接部83位于第二遮蔽壳体72的延伸部722上方,第一遮蔽壳体71的侧壁714位于锁扣件80的搭接部83及第一遮蔽壳体71的延伸部722外侧,并通过点焊的方式结合在一起。因为电连接器100的对接部11为导电结构,对接连接器200的锁扣件80亦为导电结构,当锁扣件80锁扣于该对接部11时,电连接器100与对接连接器200之间的再次形成接地。此时,第一遮蔽壳体71同时连接于锁扣件80及第二遮蔽壳体72,使得整个电连接器组合的屏蔽效果更好。
在实施过程中,可在电连接器100的对接部11两侧设置对应接触部811的圆弧状的凹部(未图示),对接过程中,接触部811与对接部11的侧面相干涉而收容于凹部。当电连接器与对接连接器分离时,圆弧状的接触部811易于从圆弧状的凹部中脱离,从而达成易松脱的效果。
本实施方式为本发明较佳实施方式,当然,本发明也可采用其他实施方式,此处不再一一赘述。

Claims (10)

1.一种电连接器组合,其包括电连接器,该电连接器包括外壳及收容于外壳内的端子模组,所述外壳具有向前延伸的对接部及自外壳后端面凹设的容置腔,所述对接部的一个侧面为对接面,端子模组包括绝缘体及固持于绝缘体的第一端子,端子模组插入容置腔,绝缘体具有相对设置的第一面及第二面,第一端子具有凸伸出绝缘体第一面的接触部,其特征在于:所述容置腔内安装有支撑件,支撑件抵压于绝缘体的第二面,而使接触部裸露于上述对接面。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:所述对接部的对接面凹设有与容置腔连通的缺口部,绝缘体的第一面抵持于容置腔的内侧面,第一端子的接触部凸出于该缺口部,所述缺口部填充有塑胶材料,塑胶材料密封端子模组使得塑胶材料与对接部的对接面相平齐。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:所述端子模组分成三个相互连接的子端子模组,对接部的缺口部对应子端子模组设置成彼此隔开的三个子缺口部,所述外壳为导电结构,所述外壳具有位于缺口部并将缺口部隔成三个子缺口部的连接肋。
4.如权利要求3所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:所述电连接器组合还包括对接连接器,所述对接连接器包括绝缘本体、固持于绝缘本体的第二端子及第一遮蔽壳体,所述第二端子包括信号端子及接地端子,部分接地端子对应外壳的连接肋设置而与连接肋接触,部分接地端子位于缺口部两侧与外壳接触。
5.如权利要求1所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:所述对接连接器还具有一对锁扣件,所述锁扣件包括位于电连接器对接部两侧的接触臂及包覆于绝缘本体外侧面的搭接部,所述第一遮蔽壳体具有位于搭接部的外侧的侧壁,所述侧壁与搭接部通过点焊的方式搭接在一起。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:所述锁扣件的接触臂向电连接器的对接部进一步设有接触部,电连接器的对接部设有对应接触部的凹部,接触部与对接部的侧面相干涉而收容于凹部。
7.如权利要求6所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:所述对接连接器进一步包括第二遮蔽壳体,所述第二遮蔽壳体具有包覆于绝缘本体外侧面的延伸部,所述延伸部位于搭接部下方,所述第一遮蔽壳体的侧壁同时搭接于锁扣件的搭接部及第二遮蔽壳体的延伸部。
8.一种电连接器组合的组装方法,其特征在于该组装方法包括以下步骤:
提供第一端子,所述第一端子具有接触部;
向第一端子注塑液体绝缘材料,该液体绝缘材料冷却形成绝缘体,第一端子与绝缘体形成端子模组,绝缘体具有第一面及与第一面相对的第二面,第一端子的接触部裸露于绝缘体的第一面;
提供外壳,所述外壳具有对接部及自对接部的后端面凹设的容置腔,所述对接部的一个侧面为对接面,对接面凹设形成与容置腔连通的缺口部;
将端子模组组装于容置腔内;
提供支撑件,将支撑件自外壳后端面插入容置腔,并支撑件抵持于绝缘体的第二面,此时,绝缘体的第一面抵持于容置腔的一内壁面,第一端子的接触部凸出于缺口部。
9.如权利要求8所述的电连接器组合的组装方法,其特征在于:所述组装方法进一步包括向对接部的缺口部填充塑胶材料,使得塑胶材料密封端子模组与对接部,且塑胶材料与对接面及端子模组相平齐。
10.如权利要求8所述的电连接器组合的组装方法,其特征在于:所述外壳为导电结构,所述外壳具有位于缺口部并将缺口部隔成三个子缺口部的连接肋。
