背景技术
咳嗽是呼吸道疾病最常见的一种症状，咳嗽是人体一种保护性防御功能，通过咳嗽，可以排出呼吸道的分泌物或侵入气管内的异物，仅有咳嗽而无痰的称为干咳，可见于多种疾病。常见的慢性咽炎，咽部干燥，有瘙痒感和不适感，并由此刺激发出阵阵咳声，自己对着镜子张开嘴可发现咽后壁粘膜表面粗糙，有许多扩张的小血管，严重时会有透明的小白泡，不及时治疗，渐渐地由慢性咽炎转变成肺结核，咳痰带血或咯血，感到浑身无力，饭量减少，身体日渐消瘦，午后和夜间体温增高，睡觉时常常出汗，时有心慌。现有的药物中，有的对风寒咳嗽的患者不能使用，有的药物则味道甘苦，还有的伤及胃肾，不能使患者得到全面的治疗。
