背景技术
许多各种设计的放射成像系统是已知的并且目前在使用中。这样的系统基于引导朝向感兴趣受检者的X射线的产生。X射线穿越该受检者并且撞击膜或数字检测器。在医疗诊断背景中,例如这样的系统可用于使内部组织可视化并且诊断患者疾病。在其他背景中,部件、行李、包裹和其他受检者可成像以评定它们的容纳物并且用于其他目的。一般来说,由本公开提及的类型的X射线系统可包括投影X射线系统、荧光系统、X射线层析系统、计算机断层扫描系统和各种混合或组合形态系统,其结合其他成像物理、例如超声、正电子发射断层扫描、磁共振成像等等利用X射线成像。

发明内容

在另一个实施例中,提供X射线成像系统的操作方法。该方法包括关联X射线成像子系统和X射线检测器子系统,产生该关联的用户可察觉指示,接收该关联的用户确认,并且用该X射线成像子系统和该X射线检测器子系统对受检者成像。
在另外的实施例中,提供X射线成像系统。该系统包括能够与一个或多个自主检测器子系统一起操作的自主成像子系统,能够与该自主成像子系统一起操作的多个自主检测器子系统,并且其中该自主成像子系统和该自主检测器子系统中的至少一个配置成形成该自主X射线成像子系统和该自主检测器子系统中的一个之间的操作关联,该关联允许成像数据的无线交换,并且产生该关联的用户可察觉指示。

本实施例针对提供用于关联的方法和具有能够进行关联序列的相应部件的系统。该序列可包括用户和系统(例如,与一个或多个自主子系统通信耦合的成像系统)两者可进行的动作。该动作可包括形成检测器和成像器子系统之间的唯一关联和向用户指示该唯一关联。用户(或控制器)可在适当的情况下使用例如操作连接到对其期望关联的成像部件的工作站确认和/或纠正该关联。
现在转向附图,图1图解图示用于采集和处理图像数据的成像系统10。在图示的实施例中,该成像系统10是包含自主部件的数字X射线系统。在图1中图示的实施例中,成像系统10包括邻近准直器14安置的X射线辐射源12。该准直器14允许辐射流16传递进入例如患者18等对象或受检者安置在其中的区域。一部分辐射20传递通过受检者或其周围并且撞击便携数字X射线检测器22。该检测器22可将在它的表面上接收到的X射线光子转换为电信号,其被采集并且处理以重建受检者内的特征的图像。
辐射源12由电源/控制电路24控制,电源/控制电路24向检查序列供应电力和控制信号。检测器22通信耦合于检测器控制器26,其命令在检测器22中产生的信号的采集。在图示的实施例中,检测器22可凭借任何适合的有线或无线通信标准与该检测器控制器26通信。在某些实施例中,该检测器控制器26的功能中的一些或所有可集成在也容置检测器22的结构内,即该检测器控制器26和检测器22可提供为单一装置。除其他功能外,该检测器控制器26可执行各种信号处理和过滤功能,例如用于动态范围的初调、数字图像数据的交叉存取(interleaving),等等。

在存在对于用成像子系统30辨别和与成像子系统30的关联可用的多个检测器的情况下,关联指示以及由用户确认可是可取的。实际上,在其中多个无线检测器22在成像子系统30的无线能力的操作范围内的实施例中,当没有进行确认时用户可难以马上关联特定的便携检测器22。例如,系统10还包括存放站52,其提供用于存放并且在一些实施例中对变化形状和大小的多个无线X射线检测器54充电。可壁装式底座56在它的面上包括多个无线X射线检测器存放点58。因此,存放站52适应于收容和存放多种不同的检测器54。
存放在存放站52内的检测器54中的一些或所有可具有无线关联能力。因此,在存放站52在成像子系统30的无线范围内的情况下,存放的检测器54中的一些或所有可由具有与其关联的能力的成像子系统30辨别。相应关联指示器60可提供给存放的检测器54中的每个,使得用户可容易识别不经意的关联,或是否用户期望使用存储的检测器54用于图像采集。在用户凭借关联指示器60识别无心关联已经发生的情况下,用户可例如凭借工作站38或使用关联按钮62直接在便携检测器22上重新发起关联。关联按钮62可发起、重新发起和/或确认与成像子系统30的关联。例如,在一个实施例中,用户可观察在一个子系统、例如成像子系统10等上的指示,并且经由关联按钮62确认检测器22上的指示。
在相似的实施例中,检测器22和/或成像子系统30可具有用于进行关联的用户界面。例如,在一个实施例中,例如在利用数字或代码识别每个子系统(例如,识别信号)的实施例中等,相应用户界面可允许用户输入或认可另一个子系统的识别码或数字以确认关联。在成像子系统的识别码或数字在检测器上查看的情况下,用户可通过按下关联按钮62认可代码是正确的或不正确的(即,确认)。在其他实施例中,例如当成像子系统30显示检测器22的识别码或数字时,用户可通过按下相似的关联按钮(或其他用户界面)确认。
在一些实施例中,手持装置64可提供用于协调关联过程。可以是个人数字助理(PDA)或相似装置的手持装置64可担当扫描装置,例如用于扫描在成像子系统30和/或检测器子系统32上的相应条形码以形成唯一关联。例如,用户可扫描成像子系统30和检测器子系统30上的条形码,并且装置64可将识别用的条形码传送到用于关联的补充子系统(即,检测器条形码提供给成像子系统并且反之亦然)。手持装置64还可具有无线通信电路使得信息可以提供给工作站38和子系统30和/或32中的任一个并且从其提供。装置64可通过存储在工作站38上的各种应用程序(其包括例如关联指示和确认等的关联规程)实现远程导航。因此,装置64可具有屏幕66,其允许通过工作站38的应用程序的导航并且还使装置64能够担当便携子系统协调装置。该装置还包括键68,其允许用户输入例如由自主子系统唯一指示的代码的值、各种命令以形成用户限定名称等等。实际上,手持装置64可包括例如扫描仪等其他特征以扫描并且关联每个子系统。当具有关联能力的多个无线检测器存在时,装置64还可便于与例如一个或多个特定检测器22等特定子系统的关联。此外,用户可查看关于检测器22的各种信息,例如电池充电水平、当前关联、能力、兼容性等等。还可显示关于成像子系统30的信息,例如控制方案、例如X射线功率等源信息、成像规程等。
一个或多个关联的检测器22可与患者台70和架子72中的一个或两个一起使用以便于在成像规程期间的图像采集。特别地,台70和架子72可配置成收容一个或多个数字检测器22。例如,数字检测器22可放置在台子70的上表面上,并且患者18(更具体地,患者18的感兴趣解剖)可安置于检测器22和辐射源12之间的台子70上。在一些其他实例中,一个或多个检测器22可安置在台子70的上表面和患者18下面的狭缝74中,或辐射源12和检测器22可关于患者18水平安置用于跨台成像。此外,架子72可包括适应于收容数字检测器22的收容结构76,并且患者18可邻近架子72安置以使图像数据能够经由数字检测器22采集。
在一个实施例中,成像系统10可以是设置在固定X射线成像室中的静止系统,例如一般在图2中描绘的并且上文参照图2描述的静止系统。然而,将意识到目前公开的实施例还可与包括移动X射线单元和系统的其他成像系统一起采用。例如,在其他实施例中,移动X射线单元可移动到患者恢复室、急诊室、手术室或类似的以实现患者成像而不要求将患者运送到专用(即,固定的)X射线成像室。
移动X射线单元的一个这样的实施例在图3中图示。在图示的实施例中,移动无线X射线系统90包括第一移动X射线基站92,其可辨别位于该第一移动X射线基站92的操作范围内的多个数字X射线检测器94、96、98和100。即,该第一移动X射线站92可考虑为包含成像子系统30。该第一移动X射线基站92可包括有轮底座102,其允许用户将该移动X射线单元移动到各处,例如从一个房间到另一个或一个病床到另一个。该第一移动X射线基站92具有X射线源104,其与数字X射线检测器94-100中的一个或多个结合使用。在一些实施例中,该第一移动X射线基站92可与多个X射线检测器94、96、98和100通信,如之前在2007年11月2日提交的美国专利申请号11/934,338中描述的那样,其通过引用结合于此。
第一移动X射线站92容置系统电子电路106,除上文描述的过程之外其还辨别(检测)检测器94、96、98和100以供关联。另外,该系统电子电路106提供并且控制到X射线源104、有轮底座102和设置在第一移动X射线基站92的表面上的关联指示器108(例如凭借照明电路等)的电力。在图示的实施例中,该关联指示器108提供视觉指示。
第一移动X射线基站92还具有耦合于显示器112的操作员工作站110。例如,辨别的检测器94、96、98和100在显示器112上显示。当发起关联序列(在已经辨认各种检测器后由用户或由系统90自动地)时用户可进行如上文描述的辨认程序以将检测器94、96、98和100中的一个或多个与第一移动X射线站92关联。
显示器112可具有检测器“A”94、检测器“B”96、检测器“C”98和检测器“D”100的读出,其中已经与第一移动X射线基站92关联的那些如此指示(例如,加亮)。此外,检测器94、96、98和100中的每个可具有相应的关联指示器114、116、118和120。应该注意到该关联指示器114、116、118和120可进行与第一移动X射线基站92的关联指示器108的那个几乎相同的任务。在图示的实施例中,检测器“A”114描绘为提供与第一移动X射线站92的关联的视觉指示。
采用与第一移动X射线站92相似的方式,第二移动X射线站122可辨认无线检测器114、116、118和120。该第二移动X射线站122可包括与上文关于第一移动X射线站92描述的那些相似或相同特征。如此,移动X射线站可看起来相似或相同,并且在没有某种关联指示的情况下,其可能难以区别。因此,对于用户可能难以确定哪些检测器已经与每个移动X射线站关联。因此,通过在每个检测器和X射线站上提供关联指示,例如在检测器“C”98上的视觉指示118和在第二移动X射线站122上的关联指示124,快速确定和/或重新配置其之间的关联可是可能的。例如,根据在图3中示出的指示,用户可容易确定检测器“A”与第一移动X射线站92关联,并且检测器“C”98与第二移动X射线检测器关联。
上文描述的无线移动X射线单元以及无线检测器的电路在图4中图解图示,并且采用与在图1中描述的大体上相同的方式操作。除上文描述的任务外,电源130提供电力给有轮底座106的移动驱动单元132(在移动单元的实施例中)。如上文,系统控制器134命令成像系统的操作以执行检查规程并且处理采集的图像数据并且可包括或可响应于处理器136。该处理器136还从检测器94接收图像数据并且处理该数据以重建对象图像。
处理器136还链接到检测器辨别电路138,其用于检测检测器在第一移动X射线基站92的操作范围内的存在。如果没有检测器在第一移动X射线站92的操作范围内被关联或辨别,处理器136可发送信号给系统控制器134以禁止或阻止X射线从X射线源104发射。检测器辨别电路138还链接到系统控制器134。检测器辨别电路138链接到无线通信接口140,其允许与第一移动X射线站92的操作范围内的检测器无线通信和对其的辨别。在第一移动X射线站92(即,成像器子系统)与检测器临时或另外关联的实施例中,处理器136可发送信号给照明电路142以激活关联指示器,例如关联指示器108(图3)等。另外或备选地,第一移动X射线站92还可与服务器通信。处理器136还链接到外围设备144,其可包括显示器、用户界面、存储器等等。
检测器94包括用于与第一移动X射线站92无线通信的无线通信接口146。检测器94还可与服务器通信。注意到该无线通信接口146可利用任何适合的无线通信协议,例如上文关于图1提到的那些。此外,检测器94耦合于检测器控制器148,其协调对各种检测器功能的控制。系统控制器134以及检测电路检测器辨别电路138可无线提供控制信号给检测器控制器148。提供控制信号给各种检测器部件的处理器150、检测器控制器148以及描绘的电路中的所有从电源152接收电力。该电源152可包括电池。
代表图像的电信号由检测器接口电路156转换成数字值,检测器接口电路156将该值提供给处理器150用于图像建立。备选地,成像数据可从检测器94发送给服务器以处理成像数据。处理器150还链接到照明电路158。检测器控制器148响应于从第一移动X射线站92接收的信号可发送信号给处理器150以发信号给照明电路158点亮灯以指示检测器94与第一移动X射线站92的关联。与处理器150通信的存储器160可存储各种配置参数、校准文件和检测器识别数据。另外,该存储器160可存储检测器94配置成与其一起操作的所有X射线系统10的列表,以及限定检测器94与X射线系统10的特定版本和/或软件版本的兼容性的表格。
成像部件的这样的移动性可允许自主成像器子系统30、检测器子系统32和/或工作站38中的一个或多个在例如上文指出的HIS、RIS和/或PACS等网络上提供为节点。此外,每个部件可是移动的、无线的等,使得每个子系统和/或工作站可配置成与许多其他子系统通信,如在图5中图示的。采用该方式,检测器子系统32可经由无线网络连接将采集的图像数据传送给成像器子系统30和工作站38中的任一个或两个。同样地,工作站38可经由无线网络连接与成像器子系统30或检测器子系统32中的一个或两个通信和/或对其控制。相似地,成像器子系统30可经由无线网络连接与工作站38或检测器子系统32通信。在这样的联网实施例中,自主部件(例如,成像器子系统30、检测器子系统32和工作站38)可独立操作并且从而可在它们自身中通信或与网络上互相独立的其他装置通信。根据本文描述的方式,成像系统30包括关联指示器36以向用户提供一个或多个检测器与其无线关联的标记。相似地,检测器子系统32具有关联指示器34,其提供检测器22与成像子系统30关联的标记。如上文指出的,工作站38可经由显示器提供关于本地网络(例如,关联的子系统)的信息。
本实施例设想关联指示器和可选地关联按钮(例如,用以发起、确认或重新发起关联)安置在无线检测器22的各种位置上。图6图示检测器22A-22E的若干示例,其具有关联指示器和在一些实现中的关联按钮170的变化安置。应该注意到关联指示器34和/或关联按钮170可提供作为检测器的内建特征,或备选地可提供作为可改装的附加装置。因此,关联指示器34和关联按钮170可与多种检测器兼容。此外,例如那些缺少无线能力的一些检测器可改装成具有无线通信接口,例如上文提到的那些等。检测器22A是检测器22仅具有关联指示器34的实施例。关联指示器34可安置在检测器22A的手柄部分172上或在检测器22A的本体174上,例如在检测器22A的本体174的四个角中的任何角处。检测器22B是检测器22具有与关联按钮170结合的关联指示器34的实施例。即,关联按钮可以是提供指示和发起功能的点亮按钮。在检测器22B中,结合的按钮在手柄172上。检测器2C是检测器22具有在手柄172上的关联按钮170和安置在检测器本体174上或内的关联指示器34的实施例。检测器22D是检测器22具有作为分立特征都设置在手柄172上或内的关联指示器34和关联按钮170两者的实施例。检测器22E是检测器22具有设置在手柄172上或内的关联指示器34而关联按钮170安置在本体174上或内的实施例。检测器22F是检测器22具有关联指示器34和关联按钮170作为结合特征而设置在检测器22F的本体174上或内的实施例。应该注意到尽管上文的说明提供其中关联指示器34和/或关联按钮可安置在检测器22上的示例,许多其他配置可是可能的并且认为是在本公开的范围内。
X射线系统10关联无线子系统的能力可或可以不限于正与成像子系统30关联的一个检测器22。例如,在例如创伤情况等某些环境下关联两个或更多检测器22可是可取的。在这样的情况下,医疗人员可宁愿尽可能少地移动受伤的人。结合由多个检测器22提供的图像数据以形成增加的照射面积的能力可减少移动受伤的人的需要。图7图示在这样的情况下多个检测器22的使用。为了进行这样的成像,患者18安置在X射线源26下面的台子70上。两个关联的检测器180和182安置在患者18下面。与单个检测器22的使用相比,采用这样的设置的如上文描述的成像子系统30的使用允许用户对患者18的更大面积(例如,几乎两倍大)成像。
如上文指出和描述的,本实施例针对提供用于关联的方法和具有能够进行关联序列的相应部件的系统。该序列可包括用户和系统(例如,控制器)两者可进行的动作。这样动作在下文关于图8(其是描绘由用户进行的动作的过程流程图)和图9(其是描绘由系统10进行的动作的过程流程图)描述。
当对患者18成像时用户(技术人员)可进行一组序列,以提供成像设备开始并且完成对患者18的照射以产生图像。用户的示例工作流程在图8中图示。该成像工作流程190以用户提供自主检测器和成像子系统(框192)开始。用户可通过调动移动成像单元到室或靠近病床或通过引导患者18到例如在图2中描述的等成像区提供子系统。用户可选择特定检测器或多个检测器以在成像例程中使用,并且可发起关联序列(框194)。关联序列发起可包括在工作站发起、在任一子系统发起(例如经由关联按钮等)。用户可进行动作,例如扫描在成像和/或检测器子系统中的任一或两者上的条形码或使检测器22的短程无线收发器经过成像子系统30的短程无线收发器以指示期望关联哪些部件。一旦临时关联已经由系统进行,用户可确认特定成像序列的关联和照射参数(框196)。关联确认可在工作站处、在子系统中的任一或两个上、或在分开的手持装置上进行,如上文提到的。作为示例,弹出窗口或相似指示可提供在工作站38的显示器40处,列出关联的检测器22和成像器子系统30的名称或序列号。用户可通过接受该警告而确认,或可通过重新发起关联直到指示期望的部件来纠正关联。当由用户确认时,系统可允许由用户决定照射。因此,应该注意到系统可不允许在这样的确认之前照射。用户然后使用关联的成像和检测器子系统进行患者18的成像(框198)。
例如由系统(例如,图1和2的系统10)进行并且由用户发起(图8的框194)的关联序列200在图9中图示为过程流程图。在用户发起关联序列200后,系统10在成像子系统30的操作范围内检测一个或多个X射线检测器22(框202)。系统10然后可确定每个检测器22的状态(例如,充电状态、当前关联)和/或能力(例如,存储的规程、兼容性)(框204)。当用户指示期望关联那个检测器22或哪些检测器22时,系统10形成成像子系统20和辨别并且识别的检测器22中的一个或多个之间的唯一关联(框206)。然后指示该关联(框208),例如在一个或多个检测器22上,在成像子系统30上等等指示该关联。此外,应该注意到该关联还可在显示器上指示,例如连接到工作站38的显示器40(图2)上。系统10然后可提示用户输入以确定是否已经指示正确的关联(框210)。在临时关联被不正确指示的实施例中,序列可提供给系统10以重新形成唯一关联(框206)。相反地,在关联被正确指示的实施例中,确认关联(框212)并且实现X射线发射(框214)。

Claims (15)
1.一种X射线成像系统(10)的操作方法,其包括:
形成(206)自主成像子系统(30)和自主检测器子系统(32)之间的关联;以及
在所述自主成像子系统(30)、所述自主检测器子系统(32)或两者上提供(208)所述关联的用户可察觉指示(34、36、108、114、116、118、120、124)。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,包括接收(212)所述自主成像子系统(30)和所述自主检测器子系统(32)之间的所述关联的用户确认。
3.如权利要求2所述的方法,包括禁止由所述自主成像子系统(30)的一个或多个X射线源(12)的X射线发射直到所述关联被形成或直到接收所述用户确认为止。
4.如权利要求2所述的方法,包括在所述自主成像子系统(30)上提供与所述自主检测器子系统(32)上的指示(34、114、116、118、120)相当的用户可察觉指示(36、108、124)以实现所述确认。
5.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中形成所述关联包括传送所述自主成像子系统(30)的识别信号给所述自主检测器子系统(32),并且传送所述自主检测器子系统(32)的识别信号给所述自主成像子系统(30);辨别所述相应识别信号;以及基于所述相应识别信号经由无线接口(140)链接所述自主成像子系统(30)和所述自主检测器子系统(32)。
6.如权利要求5所述的方法,其中所述相应识别信号通过扫描提供在所述自主成像子系统(30)和所述自主检测器(32)上的标记而产生。
7.如权利要求6所述的方法,其中所述标记包括一个或多个条形码。

9.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中提供所述关联的用户可察觉指示(34、36、108、114、116、118、120、124)包括在子系统两者上提供视觉、听觉或触觉指示,或其的任意组合。
10.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中提供所述关联的用户可察觉指示(34、36、108、114、116、118、120、124)包括仅在所述检测器子系统(32)上提供视觉、听觉或触觉指示,或其的任意组合。
11.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述自主检测器子系统(32)是在范围内并且能够与所述自主成像子系统(30)一起操作的多个自主检测器子系统(32)中的一个。
12.一种X射线成像系统(10)的操作方法,其包括:
关联(206)X射线成像子系统(30)和X射线检测器子系统(32);
产生(208)所述关联的用户可察觉指示(34、36、108、114、116、118、120、124);
接收(210)所述关联的用户确认;以及
用所述X射线成像子系统(30)和所述X射线检测器子系统(32)对受检者成像。
13.如权利要求12所述的方法,其中关联所述X射线成像子系统(30)和所述X射线检测器子系统(32)包括:
无线地提供所述X射线成像子系统(30)的识别信号给所述X射线检测器子系统(32);以及
无线地提供所述X射线检测器子系统(32)的识别信号给所述X射线成像子系统(30)。
14.如权利要求13所述的方法,包括禁止由所述成像子系统(30)的一个或多个X射线源(12)的X射线发射直到所述关联被建立或直到接收所述用户确认为止。
15.如权利要求12所述的方法,包括在所述成像子系统(30)上提供与所述检测器子系统(32)上的指示(34、114、116、118、120)相当的用户可察觉指示(34、124)以实现所述确认。
