Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to an auxiliary state display system for an audio teleconference, in particular to a system for providing auxiliary state display for a large-scale centralized audio teleconference system, and belongs to the technical field of teleconferences.
Background
Compared with the traditional conference, the teleconference has the characteristics of rapid conference arrangement, no time and region limitation, low cost and the like, thereby being widely applied. In various telephone conferences, the video telephone conference has the advantages of visual display and the like, and better user experience can be obtained, but the use range is limited to a certain extent because a specific video telephone terminal needs to be used. Currently, the most widely used form of teleconferencing is still audio teleconferencing.
The audio teleconference can use a common telephone terminal, a mobile terminal such as a mobile phone, a VoIP telephone terminal and the like, and the application is very wide. However, since the audio teleconference only provides voice communication, it is difficult for the participants to obtain information such as the current progress of the teleconference. Especially in a large teleconference, when participants of the teleconference rejoin the teleconference after a problem (such as unstable signal quality or disconnection) occurs in the network, it is difficult to know the current dynamic state of the teleconference in time.
In the international patent application with the application number PCT/US2003/018231, a method for providing ancillary information to a user of a telecommunications device is provided. The method receives ancillary information during a telecommunications device voice-based teleconference utilizing a time period during which the telecommunications device is in a busy operating mode. The ancillary information is reproduced for the user in at least one of an audible and a visual manner, wherein the type of ancillary information is preselected by the user. However, this method still cannot solve the technical problem of letting the participants of the teleconference know the current progress of the teleconference in time after the communication is interrupted.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide an auxiliary state display system for audio teleconference. By utilizing the system, the participants of the audio teleconference can know the current progress of the teleconference in time.
In order to achieve the purpose, the invention adopts the following technical scheme:
an auxiliary status display system for audio teleconferencing, characterized in that:
the auxiliary state display system consists of a conference state display server, a conference state control client and a conference state access client; wherein,
the conference state display server, the conference state control client and the conference state access client are connected through a data network, and the conference state display server authenticates the conference state control client and the conference state access client;
the conference state display server stores the conference state information of the audio teleconference; and the conference state information is accessed by the conference state access client and is modified by the conference state control client.
Wherein the conference state information includes the following:
(1) the ID of the conference;
(2) a meeting name and a meeting topic;
(3) the start time and the end time of the conference;
(4) participants of the conference;
(5) a conference progress schedule;
(6) a current conference process;
(7) a meeting state;
(8) and (4) an access method of the conference.
The meeting state information is expressed in a text mode or a graphic mode.
And the conference state access client accesses the conference state display server regularly to obtain the latest conference state information.
The audio teleconference auxiliary state display system provided by the invention can be used for visually displaying the current state information of the audio teleconference on a mobile phone, a VoIP terminal and other communication terminals which have display functions and can access the outside through a data network, thereby facilitating conference participants to know the current progress of the teleconference in time.
Drawings
The invention is further described with reference to the following figures and detailed description.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of an overall structure of an audio teleconference auxiliary state display system provided by the present invention.
Detailed Description
As shown in fig. 1, the audio teleconference auxiliary status display system provided by the present invention includes three parts: the conference state display server, the conference state control client and the conference state access client. Wherein the conference state display server, the conference state control client and the conference state access client communicate with each other through a data network such as a wired network (e.g., the internet or a private network, etc.), a wireless network (GPRS/EGDE/3G network), etc.
The conference state display server may be a stand-alone computer, or may be another application server or a computer program running on the embedded system. It is used to store conference state information for audio teleconferences. The conference state information may be accessed by a conference state access client and may be modified by a conference state control client.
The conference state information saved by the conference state display server includes, but is not limited to, the following:
(1) ID (identification number) of conference;
(2) a meeting name and a meeting topic;
(3) the start time and the end time of the conference;
(4) participants of the conference;
(5) a meeting progress schedule including subject content and duration;
(6) the current conference process comprises a current topic and current speaker information;
(7) and (3) meeting state: the conference is in progress, has not started, or has ended;
(8) the access method of the conference comprises the access information such as invitation mode participation or fixed telephone access number dialing.
The above conference state information may be expressed in a text manner or a graphic manner.
The conference state display server may be connected to the internet through an ethernet network. The conference state display server is provided with database management software, and can store conference state information (managed by conference ID) of a plurality of conferences. The conference state display server is simultaneously provided with webserver software, and conference state information can be accessed in a web page mode. The conference state display server also provides an API (application programming interface) for accessing the conference state information, and the conference state access client or the conference state control client can realize remote access.
The conference state display server provides one or more conference state control client connections and a plurality of conference state access client connections for each audio teleconference and authenticates the conference state control client and the conference state access client. The conference state display server provides the current conference state for the conference state access client according to a conference process schedule preset in advance by the conference state control client, receives the modification of the conference state control client, and provides the modified conference state for the conference state access client.
The conference state access client may be a mobile phone, a VoIP telephone terminal or a computer, etc. communication terminal with the capability of accessing a data network. The conference state control client may be an independent computer, or may be other application servers, embedded devices, and the like. The host of the audio teleconference or an assistant thereof modifies the conference state of the conference state display server through a related operation program in the conference state control client, for example, conference state information in the conference state display server is created, displayed, modified and deleted through an API, and the like. The conference state access client regularly accesses the conference state display server to obtain the latest conference state information.
The following describes a specific process of using the audio teleconference auxiliary status display system in detail, taking an audio teleconference as an example.
Assuming that the host of the conference decides to hold an audio teleconference, the conference information is pre-configured into the database of the conference state display server by the conference state control client. The host of the meeting simultaneously issues meeting notifications (e.g., E-mails) to the participants of the meeting, including information such as the ID of the meeting.
Participant a of the conference did not attend the conference on time due to the airplane being late. After the participant a can use the mobile phone as a conference state access client, the participant a accesses the page of the conference state display server by using a network browser built in the mobile phone, inputs a preset identity and a preset password after retrieving a conference ID, and after the conference ID is verified by the conference state display server, the participant a can read information such as a current conference state, a current conference issue, a current conference speaker and the like.
Participant B of the conference has to attend two important conferences simultaneously, possibly with conflicts in time. After comparing the agendas of the two conferences, participant B finds that it is only necessary to attend one of the two conferences separately, and the two conferences do not conflict in time. Therefore, the participant B opens the status display windows of the two audio teleconference sessions through the browser software on the PC as the conference status access client, respectively, and knows the progress of the two conferences in real time. Participant B first attends a segment of conference 1 while also paying attention to the situation of conference 2. Since the content of conference 2 is more important, participant B exits conference 1 and joins conference 2 before the beginning of one of the topics that participant B is most interested in at conference 2.
The moderator C who is hosting the teleconference finds that the speaker D who is the next subject in the conference cannot participate in the conference temporarily because of the late of the airplane, and therefore the moderator C needs to notify each conference participant that the conference agenda is adjusted, and one subject behind the speaker D is adjusted to the front. To this end, the moderator C modifies the conference state information in the conference state display server database through the conference state control client. And the modified conference state information is transmitted to each conference participant through each conference state access client.
The auxiliary status display system for audio teleconference according to the present invention is explained in detail above. Any obvious modifications to the invention, which would occur to those skilled in the art, without departing from the true spirit of the invention, would constitute a violation of the patent rights of the invention and would carry a corresponding legal responsibility.
