Background
Second generation/third generation (2G/3G) mobile communication networks have been deployed for many years and can be regarded as a comprehensive coverage to some extent, and with the development of system architecture evolution/long term evolution (SAE/LTE) network technology, SAE/LTE networks have covered some urban areas and traffic hot spots, so that in current communication networks, SAE/LTE networks and 2G/3G networks coexist.
For different network bearer mechanisms, voice calls for mobile communications can be classified into the following categories:
the first type is conversational class services carried by the Circuit (CS) domain, such as voice telephony;
the second type is a Packet Switched (PS) domain carried conversational class service, also known as voice over IP (VoIP) class service, where quality of service (QoS) guarantees are provided by an IP multimedia service subsystem (IMS), such as voice over IP telephony.
The SAE/LTE network acts as a PS domain bearer packet switching system, voice calls can only be transported on its packet domain bearer, and IMS controls voice calls over IP-based networks. In 2G/3G networks, voice calls are typically carried over the CS domain.
In a voice call process, a user terminal (UE) may span two networks, and due to the difference of the bearer mechanisms of the voice call in mobile communication, when the UE moves from an area covered by one network base station to an area covered by another network base station, a break of the voice call may occur, thereby affecting the continuity of the voice call of the user.
In order to solve the above problems and ensure the continuity of the user's voice call, when the UE enters another network from one network or is handed over from a VoIP-capable cell to a non-VoIP-capable cell in a GERAN network, a domain switching of the voice call between IMS and CS domains needs to be performed. Currently, a single radio link voice continuity (SRVCC) technology is used to implement domain switching for voice calls, and according to the SRVCC technology, domain switching for voice calls is actively initiated by the UE. According to the requirement of the Voice Call Continuity (VCC) specification adopted by the SRVCC technology, one of the conditions that a voice call can perform domain switching between the IMS and CS domains needs to satisfy is that the voice call is a VCC voice call, and therefore, only when the voice call performed by the UE is a VCC voice call, the domain switching procedure of the voice call may be initiated. In the prior art, a UE having VCC capability and subscribed with a voice call considers that the voice call is VCC by default, and when the UE enters another network from one network, a domain switching procedure of the voice call between the IMS domain and the CS domain is initiated.
It can be seen that in the prior art, the domain switching for voice call is actively initiated by the UE, and the 3GPP communication network requires that the domain switching for voice call is controlled by the network, not the UE. However, according to the current standardized specifications, both the core network element and the access network element of the SAE/LTE network and the access network element of the 2G/3G network cannot determine whether a voice call is a VCC voice call, and therefore, it cannot determine whether to initiate a domain switching procedure for the voice call according to the determination result.
Disclosure of Invention
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, a system, and a device for notifying call information, so as to solve a problem in the prior art that a network side cannot know whether a voice call is a VCC voice call.
The embodiment of the invention provides a method for notifying voice call information, which comprises the following steps:

In order to enable a network side to know whether a voice call is a voice call of VCC or not and further determine whether to initiate domain switching of the voice call, the embodiment of the invention provides a notification method of voice call information. In the method for initiating a CS domain voice call provided in the embodiment of the present invention, a Visited Mobile Switching Center (VMSC) notifies a 2G/3G access network element of a result of determining whether a voice call is a VCC voice call, and a network side determines whether to trigger a UE to initiate a domain switching of the voice call according to the reported result.

The visited mobile switching center 1201 is configured to: and after the voice call is established, informing the determined result to an access network element.
Referring to fig. 13, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a notification apparatus, where the apparatus includes:
a receiving unit 1301, configured to receive a voice call control signaling;
a determining unit 1302, configured to determine whether the current voice call is a VCC voice call by analyzing the voice call control signaling;
and an indicating unit 1303, configured to notify the network side of the determination result of the determining unit.
The determination unit 1302 includes:
a first unit 13021, configured to judge whether the signaling includes address information of a VCC application server by analyzing the voice call control signaling, and if so, determine that the current voice call is a voice call of VCC, otherwise, determine that the current voice call is not a voice call of VCC;
a second unit 13022, configured to judge whether the signaling includes indication information of a VCC voice call by analyzing the voice call control signaling, if so, determine that the current voice call is a VCC voice call, and otherwise, determine that the current voice call is not a VCC voice call.
The following describes a specific workflow of the notification apparatus:
step S01: a receiving unit of the notification device receives a voice call control signaling;
step S02: the determining unit analyzes the voice call control signaling received by the receiving unit, and determines whether the voice call is a VCC voice call, which may specifically be:
the first unit contained in the determining unit analyzes the voice call control signaling, judges whether the Via domain of the signaling contains the address information of the VCC application server, if so, determines that the voice call is the voice call of VCC, otherwise, determines that the voice call is not the voice call of VCC; or,
the second unit contained in the determining unit analyzes the voice call control signaling, judges whether the signaling contains indication information of VCC voice call, if yes, determines that the voice call is VCC voice call, otherwise, determines that the voice call is not VCC voice call.
Step S03: the instructing unit notifies the network side of the determination result of the determining unit, and specifically may send a notification message including information indicating whether the voice call is a voice call of VCC to the network side.
Referring to fig. 14, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a network device, where the network device includes:
a receiving unit 1401 for receiving a notification including information indicating whether a voice call is a voice call of VCC;
a storing unit 1402, configured to, when the receiving unit receives the notification, store information of whether the voice call in the notification is a voice call of VCC.
The apparatus further comprises:
a forwarding unit 1403, configured to forward the notification.
The following describes a specific workflow of the network device:
step S11: a receiving unit of the network device receives a notification including information indicating whether a voice call is a voice call of VCC;
step S12: and the storage unit stores the information whether the voice call is a voice call of VCC or not when the receiving unit receives the notification.
When the network device further includes a forwarding unit, the method may further include the following steps:
step S13: the forwarding unit forwards the notification received by the receiving unit to other entities.
In conclusion, the technical effects of the invention are as follows:
for an IMS voice call, the UE or PDN GW that receives voice call control signaling from the IM CN Subsystem determines whether the voice call is a VCC voice call by analyzing the voice call control signaling, and then reports the determination result to the SAE/LTE network or the 2G/3G network. For a CS domain voice call, the VMSC reports the result of determining whether the voice call is a VCC voice call to the 2G/3G network. By the scheme, the network side can know whether the voice call is a voice call of VCC or not, and further can determine whether to trigger the UE to initiate the domain switching of the voice call, so that the initiation control of the network side on the domain switching of the voice call is realized.
It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications may be made in the present invention without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Thus, if such modifications and variations of the present invention fall within the scope of the claims of the present invention and their equivalents, the present invention is also intended to include such modifications and variations.

Claims (21)

1. A method for notifying voice call information, the method comprising:
a first entity receiving a voice call control signaling from an IP multimedia core network subsystem, determining whether an IMS voice call of the IP multimedia service subsystem is a voice call of voice call continuity VCC by analyzing the signaling, and if the signaling includes address information of a voice call continuity VCC application server or indication information of the VCC voice call, determining that the IMS voice call is the voice call of VCC by the first entity, and notifying an access network element or a core network element of a network side of a determination result.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the first entity is a user terminal, UE, or a packet data network gateway, PDN GW.
3. The method according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the access network element is a radio network controller RNC and the core network element is a mobile switching center MSC or a serving GPRS support node SGSN; or
The network element of the access network is a network element in a base station subsystem BSS, and the network element of the core network is a mobile switching center MSC or a serving GPRS support node SGSN; or
The access network element is an evolved base station eNodeB, and the core network element is a mobility management element MME.
4. The method of claim 2, wherein when the first entity is a UE and it is determined that the current voice call is a voice call of VCC, the notifying, by the UE, an access network element and/or a core network element on a network side of a determination result comprises:
the UE sends a notification message to an access network element, wherein the notification message contains information indicating that the voice call is a voice call of VCC; when the access network element receives the notification message, the information that the voice call is a voice call of VCC is stored; or,
the UE sends a notification message to a core network element, wherein the notification message contains information indicating that the voice call is a voice call of VCC; and when the core network element receives the notification message, the information that the voice call is a VCC voice call is stored.
5. The method of claim 4, wherein upon receipt of the notification message by the access network element, the method further comprises:
the access network element forwards the notification message to a core network element; and when the core network element receives the notification message, the information that the voice call is a VCC voice call is stored.
6. The method of claim 2, wherein when the first entity is a PDN GW and the current voice call is determined to be a VCC voice call, the notifying an access network element and/or a core network element on a network side of the determination result comprises:
the PDN GW sends a notification message to a core network element, wherein the notification message contains information indicating that the voice call is a voice call of VCC; when the core network element receives the notification message, the information that the voice call is a voice call of VCC is stored; or,
the PDN GW sends a notification message to an access network element, wherein the notification message contains information indicating that the voice call is a voice call of VCC; and when the access network element receives the notification message, the information that the voice call is a voice call of VCC is stored.
7. The method of claim 6, wherein when the notification message is received by the core network element, the method further comprises:
the core network element forwards the notification message to an access network element; and when the access network element receives the notification message, the information that the voice call is a voice call of VCC is stored.
8. The method of claim 7, wherein the notification message is a newly added dedicated message or a paging message.
9. A method for notifying voice call information, the method comprising:
a visiting mobile switching center VMSC of a circuit CS domain receives a voice call initiated by user equipment UE, and after the VMSC determines that the voice call is a voice call of voice call continuity VCC by inquiring a core network element, the VMSC informs an access network element of a determination result.
10. The method of claim 9, wherein the access network element comprises: a base station controller BSC or a radio network controller RNC.
11. The method of claim 9, wherein the VMSC notifies the access network element of the determination result after the voice call setup is completed.
12. A system for notifying voice call information, the system comprising:
a notification unit, and a first network unit;
the first network element is an access network element or a core network element; and
the notification unit includes:
a first receiving unit, configured to receive a voice call control signaling from an IP multimedia core network subsystem;
a determining unit, configured to determine whether the IMS voice call of the current IP multimedia service subsystem is a voice call of VCC (voice call continuity) by analyzing the signaling received by the first receiving unit, and if the signaling includes address information of a VCC application server or indication information of a VCC voice call, determine that the IMS voice call is a VCC voice call; and
an indicating unit configured to notify the first network unit of a result determined by the determining unit.
13. The system of claim 12, wherein the instructing unit notifying the first network element of the result determined by the determining unit comprises: when the determining unit determines that the voice call is a voice call of VCC, the indicating unit sends a notification message to the access network element, wherein the notification message includes information indicating that the voice call is a voice call of VCC.
14. The system of claim 13, wherein the first network element comprises:
a second receiving unit, configured to receive the notification sent by the indicating unit;
and the storage unit is used for storing the information whether the voice call is VCC voice call.
15. The system of claim 14, wherein the first network element further comprises:
a forwarding unit, configured to forward the notification to a second network unit;
the system further comprises:
and the second network unit is used for storing the information whether the voice call in the notification is the voice call of VCC or not when receiving the notification.
16. The system of claim 12, wherein the access network element is a radio network controller, RNC, and the core network element is a serving GPRS support node, SGSN; or
The network element of the access network is a network element in a BSS, and the network element of the core network is a Mobile Switching Center (MSC) or a Serving GPRS Support Node (SGSN); or
The access network element is an evolved base station eNodeB, and the core network element is a mobility management element MME.
17. The system of claim 12, wherein the notification element is a user terminal, UE, or a packet data network gateway, PDN GW.
18. A system for notifying voice call information, the system comprising:
the visiting mobile switching center is used for receiving a voice call initiated by the user terminal UE, determining the voice call as a voice call with voice call continuity VCC by inquiring the core network element, and then informing the access network element of the determination result;
and the access network element is used for storing the information that the voice call in the notification is the voice call of VCC when the notification is received.
19. The system of claim 18, wherein the visiting mobile switching center is to: and after the voice call is established, informing the determined result to an access network element.
20. The system of claim 18, wherein the access network element comprises: a base station controller BSC or a radio network controller RNC.
21. A notification apparatus, comprising:
a receiving unit, configured to receive a voice call control signaling from an IP multimedia core network subsystem;
a determining unit, configured to determine whether the IMS voice call of the current IP multimedia service subsystem is a voice call of voice call continuity VCC by analyzing the voice call control signaling, and if the signaling includes address information of a voice call continuity VCC application server or indication information of a VCC voice call, determine that the IMS voice call is the VCC voice call;
and the notifying unit is used for notifying the determining result of the determining unit to an access network element or a core network element at a network side.
