Abstract

Description
本发明涉及用于标记基材的涂料组合物、制备这些组合物的方法、涂有这些组合物的基材及其制备方法、使用这些组合物制备标记的基材的方法以及可由此方法获得的标记的基材。
包装上通常需要标以例如标识语、条形码、有效日期或批号等信息。它的一种实现方式是用某种组合物对包装进行涂覆,其中所述组合物在用能量例如热处理后能形成可见的标记。当采用激光辐射作为能量时,标记甚至可以小到肉眼不可见或几乎不可见。
WO02/068205记述了一种标记物品的方法,其中所述物品包括或涂有一种包含具有官能团如多羟基化合物的材料和金属化合物如碱金属、碱土金属、铁氧化物或盐和有机金属化合物的制剂。在用激光辐射时,上述两种组分反应形成对比色的产物。
WO02/068205的水基组合物的缺点在于只能提供黄色或灰/绿色标记,不能提供黑色标记。黑色标记只能使用基于有机溶剂的体系获得。此外,所述组合物也不适于涂覆纸或塑料。
WO02/074548记述了包含多化合价金属的氧阴离子例如钼酸盐或钨酸盐、粘合剂和水或有机溶剂的涂料组合物。这些组合物被涂覆在基材例如碳板上,干燥得到不透明涂料,并暴露于IR激光辐射产生黑色标记。
WO02/074548的涂料组合物的缺点在于只能获得不透明涂料。
WO2004/043704记述了包含成色剂,胺的钼酸盐、钨酸盐或钒酸盐,水或有机溶剂以及任选地聚合粘合剂的涂料组合物。基于有机溶剂的体系可以产生透明涂料而水基体系只能产生不透明涂料。该组合物被涂覆在基材如聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯薄膜、铝箔或聚丙烯包装薄膜上、干燥和暴露于IR激光或热敏式打印机以产生有色标记。
WO2005/012442记述了一种包含颜料、水或有机溶剂、导电聚合物和任选地粘合剂的涂料组合物。所述颜料可以是钼酸盐或钨酸盐的氧阴离子。
WO2004/043704和WO2005/012442的水基涂料组合物的缺点在于只能获得不透明涂料。
本发明的一个目的在于提供能形成透明的无色涂料并在暴露于能量后产生高反差标记的水基涂料组合物。
这些目的是通过权利要求1所述的涂料组合物、权利要求22、24和25所述的方法以及权利要求23和28所述的基材达到的。
本发明的组合物包含含氧过渡金属化合物和水基溶剂并能形成透明的无色涂料,其在暴露于能量后产生高反差的标记。
优选地,所述标记是黑色的。
所述含氧过渡金属化合物优选地选自含氧的铬、钼和钨化合物。
含氧的铬、钼和钨化合物的例子有铬、钼和钨的氧化物,碱金属、碱土金属、铵和单、二、三和四-C1-8烷基铵的单、二和多铬酸盐、钼酸盐和钨酸盐,碱金属、碱土金属、铵和单、二、三和四-C1-8-烷基铵杂多铬酸盐、钼酸盐、和钨酸盐,碱金属、碱土金属、铵和单、二、三和四-C1-8-烷基铵过氧铬酸盐、钼酸盐和钨酸盐,以及含羟基的铬酸盐、钼酸盐和钨酸盐。
C1-8烷基的例子有甲基、乙基、丙基、异丙基、丁基、异丁基、仲丁基、叔丁基、戊基、己基、庚基、辛基和2-乙基己基。

多铬酸盐、钼酸盐和钨酸盐又称作异多铬酸盐、钼酸盐和钨酸盐。
碱金属、碱土金属、铵和单、二、三和四-C1-8-烷基铵杂多铬酸盐、钼酸盐和钨酸盐的例子有具有钠、钾、镁、钙或铵或其混合物作对应阳离子(countercation)的[FeIII(Mo6O24)]9-,[TeVI(Mo6O24)]6-,[IVII(Mo6O24)]5-,CrIII(Mo6O24H6)]3-,[MnIV(Mo9O32)]6-,[NiIV(Mo9O32)]6-,[(PV(Mo12O40)]3-,[(SiIV(Mo12O40)]4-,[(SIV(Mo12O40)]4-,[(CeIV(Mo12O42)]8-,[I(W6O24)]5-,[Te(W6O24)]6-,[P(W12O40)]3-和[Si(W12O40)]4-。

能量可以为热或任何其它能量,其在施加于由本发明的组合物所形成的涂料上时能产生标记。这种能量的例子有UV、IR、可见光或微波辐射。
优选地,所述能量为IR辐射。更优选地,所述能量为波长在780-1000000nm范围的IR辐射。更进一步优选地,所述能量为由二氧化碳激光器或Nd:YAG激光器产生的IR辐射。最优选地,所述能量为由波长为10600nm的二氧化碳激光器产生的IR辐射。
透明涂料可以定义为可见光波长的透射率大于80%,优选地大于90%的涂料。透射率可以通过用UV/Vis分光计测量可见光谱区的某一特定波长下的透射率来确定。
优选地,本发明的组合物还包含选自有机酸、多羟基化合物和碱的添加剂。
所述有机酸的化学式可以为R1-COOH,其中R1可以为氢、C1-13烷基、C2-11烯基或芳基、其中C1-13烷基和C2-11烯基可以用羟基、羧基、NHCOC1-4烷基和/或芳基单取代或多取代,芳基可以用羟基、卤素、C1-4烷基、C1-4烷氧基、二(C1-4烷基)氨基和/或芳基单取代或多取代。

优选的有机酸的化学式为R1-COOH,其中R1可以为氢、C1-13烷基、C2-11烯基,其中C1-13烷基和C2-11烯基可以用羟基、羧基、NHCOC1-4烷基和/或芳基单取代或多取代,芳基可以用羟基、C1-4烷基、C1-4烷氧基和/或芳基单取代或多取代。

更优选的有机酸选自月桂酸、乳酸、2,6-己二烯酸、抗坏血酸、草酸、琥珀酸、苹果酸、酒石酸、柠檬酸、富马酸、粘康酸、苯乙酸、扁桃酸、阿魏酸和反式-肉桂酸。
最优选的有机酸为酒石酸或柠檬酸。
当所述有机酸可以以D-对映体、L-对映体或外消旋物存在时,包含所有这三种形式。
优选的多羟基化合物选自碳水化合物如单糖、二糖和多糖,及其其中羰基被还原成羟基的衍生物即所谓的糖醇。
单糖的例子有葡萄糖、甘露糖、半乳糖、阿拉伯糖、果糖、核糖、赤藓糖和木糖。二糖的例子有麦芽糖、纤维二糖、乳糖和蔗糖。多糖的例子有纤维素、淀粉、阿拉伯树胶、糊精和环糊精。糖醇的例子有内消旋赤藓醇、山梨糖醇、甘露糖醇和季戊四醇。
更优选的多羟基化合物为二糖、多糖和糖醇。

涂料组合物可以在例如室温或升高的温度下干燥。理想地选择所述升高的温度以避免在暴露于能量之前成像。
同样,本发明的一部分还涉及制备标记的基材的方法,其包括步骤i)用本发明的组合物涂覆基材,和步骤ii)将涂覆基材的那些打算进行标记的部分暴露于能量以产生标记。
优选地,所述标记是黑色的。

实施例12
将八钼酸铵(6g,4.78mmol)加入水(12g)与N,N-二甲基乙醇胺(4.5g,50.5mmol)的混合物中,搅拌该混合物45分钟以产生无色溶液。然后添加水(4.9g)和CibaGlascolLS26(44.6g),所述CibaGlascolLS26是固含量为46%重量、pH值为8.5且在25℃下的粘度(Brookfield 20rpm)为700mPa×s的羧化苯乙烯丙烯酸共聚物的水性微乳状液。然后将该涂料制剂涂覆到普通纸、涂布纸和聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯薄膜上得到容易用二氧化碳激光器(波长:10600nm,功率:0.5-4W,激光束直径:0.35mm,线速300-1000mm/s)产生的IR激光辐射标记以产生黑色标记的透明涂料。
实施例13
将八钼酸铵(3g,2.39mmol)加入水(7g)与25%(w/w)的氨水溶液(3g,44.0mmol)的混合物中,搅拌该混合物45分钟以产生无色溶液。然后添加CibaGlascolLS24与CibaGlascolC44(比例为2∶1)(50g)的混合物,其中所述CibaGlascolLS24是固含量为48%重量、pH值为9.0且在25℃下的粘度(Brookfield 20rpm)为1000mPa×s的羧化丙烯酸共聚物的水性微乳状液,所述CibaGlascolC44是基于固含量为42%重量且在25℃下的粘度(Brookfield 20rpm)为200mPa×s的苯乙烯丙烯酸共聚物的自交联水性乳状液。然后将该涂料制剂涂覆到普通纸、涂布纸和聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯薄膜上得到容易用二氧化碳激光器(波长:10600nm,功率:0.5-4W,激光束直径:0.35mm,线速300-1000mm/s)产生的IR激光辐射标记以产生黑色标记的透明涂料。
实施例14
将八钼酸铵(3g,2.39mmol)加入水(7g)与25%(w/w)的氨水溶液(3g,44mmol)中,搅拌该混合物45分钟以产生无色溶液。然后添加CibaGlascolLS20与CibaGlascolC44(比例为2∶1)(50g)的混合物,其中所述CibaGlascolLS20是固含量为46%重量、pH值为8.5且在25℃下的粘度(Brookfield 20rpm)为700mPa×s的羧化丙烯酸共聚物的水性微乳状液,所述CibaGlascolC44是基于固含量为42%重量且在25℃下的粘度(Brookfield 20rpm)为200mPa×s的苯乙烯丙烯酸共聚物的自交联水性乳状液。然后将该涂料制剂涂覆到普通纸、涂布纸和聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯薄膜上得到容易用二氧化碳激光器(波长:10600nm,功率:0.5-4W,激光束直径:0.35mm,线速300-1000mm/s)产生的IR激光辐射标记以产生黑色标记的透明涂料。
实施例15
将Elf Atochem出售的SMA1000(59.05g)和水(3.55g)装入容器中并加热到85℃,其中所述SMA1000是分子量为1000g/mol、固含量为29.8%且pH值为9.0的水性苯乙烯马来酸酐共聚物,铵盐。然后加入3%(w/w)的过硫酸铵水溶液(2.75g)。所述单体,苯乙烯(14.52g)和2-乙基己基丙烯酸酯(11.88g),和引发剂,3%(w/w)的过硫酸铵水溶液(8.25g),分别在3小时和3.5小时的时间内添加。然后将该反应在85℃下再保持1个小时以完成聚合。将反应混合物冷却到40℃,添加ActicideLG,其为含作为活性成分的2-甲基-3(2H)-异噻唑酮和5-氯-2-甲基-3(2H)-异噻唑酮的抗微生物剂,并通过63μm的筛子过滤。然后将获得的分散聚合物添加到机械混合器中。向该机械混合器制造的涡流中加入水(2.20g),继之以35%(w/w)的氨水溶液(7.0g,144mmol)。然后逐步添加八钼酸铵(10.0g,7.9mmol)并持续混合30分钟以确保得到均匀的混合物。所获得的涂料组合物的固含量为45%重量、pH值为9.0且在25℃下的粘度(Brookfield 20rpm)为250mPa×s。然后将该涂料组合物涂覆到普通纸、涂布纸和聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯薄膜上得到容易用二氧化碳激光器(波长:10600nm,功率:0.5-4W,激光束直径:0.35mm,线速300-1000mm/s)产生的IR激光辐射标记以产生黑色标记的透明涂料。
实施例16
将Elf Atochem出售的SMA1000(46.98g)、水(9.17g)、八钼酸铵(10.0g,7.9mmol)和35%(w/w)的氨水溶液(7.0g,144mmol)装入容器中并加热到85℃,其中所述SMA1000是分子量为1000g/mol、固含量为29.8%重量且pH值为9.0的水性苯乙烯马来酸酐共聚物,铵盐。然后加入3%(w/w)的过硫酸铵水溶液(1.35g)。所述单体,苯乙烯(11.55g)和2-乙基己基丙烯酸酯(9.45g),和引发剂,3%(w/w)的过硫酸铵水溶液(4.05g),分别在3小时和3.5小时的时间内添加。然后使该反应混合物在85℃下再保持1小时以完成聚合。将反应混合物冷却到40℃,添加ActicideLG,其为含作为活性成分的2-甲基-3(2H)-异噻唑酮和5-氯-2-甲基-3(2H)-异噻唑酮的抗微生物剂,并通过63μm的筛子过滤,以产生固含量为45%重量(21%重量的苯乙烯2-乙基己基丙烯酸酯共聚物(55∶45(w/w)),14%重量的SMA1000,10%重量的八钼酸铵)、pH为9.0且在25℃下的粘度(Brookfield 20rpm)为50mPa×s的涂料组合物。然后将该涂料组合物涂覆到普通纸、涂布纸和聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯薄膜上得到容易用二氧化碳激光器(波长:10600nm,功率:0.5-4W,激光束直径:0.35mm,线速300-1000mm/s)产生的IR激光辐射标记以产生黑色标记的透明涂料。
Claims (28)
1.一种组合物,包含含氧过渡金属化合物和水基溶剂并能形成透明的无色涂料,其在暴露于能量后产生高反差的标记。
2.根据权利要求1所述的组合物,其中所述含氧过渡金属化合物选自含氧的铬、钼和钨化合物。
3.根据权利要求2所述的组合物,其中所述含氧过渡金属化合物选自碱金属、碱土金属、铵和单、二、三和四-C1-8烷基铵的单、二和多铬酸盐、钼酸盐和钨酸盐。
4.根据权利要求3所述的组合物,其中所述含氧过渡金属化合物选自碱金属、铵和单、二、三和四-C1-8烷基铵的单、二和多钼酸盐和钨酸盐。
5.根据权利要求1-4中任意一项所述的组合物,还包含选自有机酸、多羟基化合物和碱的添加剂。
6.根据权利要求5所述的组合物,其中所述有机酸的化学式为R1-COOH,其中R1可以为氢、C1-13烷基、C2-11烯基或芳基、其中C1-13烷基和C2-11烯基可以用羟基、羧基、NHCOC1-4烷基和/或芳基单取代或多取代,芳基可以用羟基、卤素、C1-4烷基、C1-4烷氧基、二(C1-4烷基)氨基和/或芳基单取代或多取代。
7.根据权利要求5所述的组合物,其中所述多羟基化合物选自碳水化合物及其其中羰基被还原成羟基的衍生物。
8.根据权利要求5所述的组合物,其中所述碱选自碱金属、碱土金属和铵的氢氧化物和碳酸盐以及化学式为(R2R3R4)N的胺,其中R2、R3和R4可以相同或不同并可以为氢、C1-8烷基或芳基,或其中R2可以为氢、C1-8烷基或芳基而R3和R4可以与它们所连接的氮一起形成5元或6元环,其中C1-8烷基和芳基可以用羟基或氨基单取代或多取代。
9.根据权利要求5所述的组合物,其中所述添加剂为有机酸或多羟基化合物。
10.根据权利要求9所述的组合物,其中所述含氧过渡金属化合物为二钼酸铵,所述添加剂为有机酸。
11.根据权利要求9所述的组合物,其中所述含氧过渡金属化合物为碱金属单钼酸盐或钨酸盐,所述添加剂为多羟基化合物。
12.根据权利要求5所述的组合物,其中所述添加剂为碱。
13.根据权利要求12所述的组合物,其中所述含氧过渡金属化合物为八钼酸铵。
14.根据权利要求5所述的组合物,其中碱/含氧过渡金属化合物的摩尔比为至少7∶1
15.根据权利要求1-14中任意一项所述的组合物,还包含水溶性或水分散性聚合粘合剂。
16.根据权利要求1-15中任意一项所述的组合物,还包含其它组分。
17.根据权利要求1-16中任意一项所述的组合物,包含基于全部组合物重量的10-95%重量的所述水基溶剂。
18.根据权利要求1-17中任意一项所述的组合物,包含基于全部组合物重量的10-50%重量的所述含氧过渡金属化合物。
19.根据权利要求5-18中任意一项所述的组合物,包含基于全部组合物重量的10-50%重量的所述添加剂。
20.根据权利要求15-19中任意一项所述的组合物,包含基于全部组合物重量的10-80%重量的所述水溶性或水分散性聚合粘合剂。
21.根据权利要求16-20中任意一项所述的组合物,包含基于全部组合物重量的0-30%重量的其它组分。
22.用于制备权利要求1-21中任意一项所述的组合物的方法,包括混合水基溶剂与含氧过渡金属化合物。
23.涂有权利要求1-21中任意一项所述的组合物的基材。
24.制备涂覆的基材的方法,包括用权利要求1-21中任意一项所述的组合物涂覆基材。
25.制备经标记的基材的方法,其包括步骤i)用权利要求1-21中任意一项所述的组合物涂覆基材,和ii)将经涂覆的基材的那些打算进行标记的部分暴露于能量以产生标记。
26.根据权利要求25所述的方法,其中所述能量为热或UV、IR、可见光或微波辐射。
27.根据权利要求26所述的方法,其中所述能量为IR辐射。
28.可通过权利要求25-27中任意一项所述的方法获得的经标记的基材。
