Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及一种至少具有促进健康减肥,为优良钙源和含有抗氧化剂的特征之一的辅助性膳食组合物,本发明还涉及一种通过摄取该辅助性组合物来促进减肥的方法。
发明内容
本发明提供了含有以下成分的辅助性膳食组合物:一种或多种钙源,优选一种以上钙源,最优选三种钙源;柬埔寨藤黄(garcinia cambogia)和/或匙羹藤(gymnema sylvestre)的提取物,其中所述辅助性膳食组合物促进健康减肥,提供良好钙源并提供抗氧化剂。在一个优选的实施方案中,所述组合物含有碳酸钙。
本发明还提供了一种通过摄取所述辅助性组合物促进健康减肥、提供优良钙源并提供抗氧化剂的方法。
具体实施方式
本发明所使用的“有效量”是指在给予时能促使减肥的有效量,例如在一段时期例如几周、最优选至少8周每天给予3次,每次一份。有效量的辅助性膳食组合物优选为约0.1g至约10g辅助性膳食组合物。更优选地,有效量的组合物包括约1g至约5g的辅助性膳食组合物。最优选地,有效量的辅助性膳食组合包括约1.2g至4.5g的营养组合物。
根据本发明的各种实施方案,本发明涉及一种辅助性膳食组合物,所述组合物含有例如,一种或多种钙、柬埔寨藤黄和匙羹藤的提取物。优选地,从一种以上来源提供钙,最优选从三种来源提供钙。根据本发明,所述辅助性组合物促进健康减肥,提供优良钙源并提供抗氧化剂。在优选的实施方案中,所述组合物含有碳酸钙。
根据本发明的各种实施方案,辅助性组合物可以以任意形式摄取。例如,提供的辅助性组合物的剂型可为例如,胶囊、片剂、胶囊形片剂、液体饮料、粉末饮料混合物、食用凝胶或即食的酒类产品或饮料产品。最优选的剂型为胶囊形片剂。

在本发明更具体描述的一个实施方案中,例如在以下实施例1中,提供了一种至少含有碳酸钙的促进健康减肥的辅助性膳食组合物。根据该实施方案,所述辅助性膳食组合物提供了一种促进和支持健康减肥、提供优良钙源、并提供抗氧化剂的方法。按照这样的方式,辅助性组合物的摄取即提供了一种促进和支持健康减肥、提供优良钙源并提供抗氧化剂的方法。根据下述示例性实施方案,可以以任意形式提供和摄取该辅助性组合物,所述形式例如为胶囊、片剂、胶囊形片剂、液体饮料、粉末饮料混合物、食用凝胶或即食的酒类产品或饮料产品。然而,下述示例性实施方案的优选摄取形式为胶囊形片剂。

维生素D
维生素D是一种已知在调节钙和磷的体内水平上以及在骨矿化方面很重要的类固醇激素。维生素D在胃的钙吸收和体内钙的作用方面尤为重要。因此,维生素D对于坚固的骨和牙而言特别重要。
还已知维生素D为胆钙化甾醇,它是在前体分子7-脱氢胆固醇吸收光能时在动物的皮肤中产生的。胆钙化甾醇被用作膳食辅助物,以治疗和/或预防体内维生素D的低水平。
尽管本发明并不受任何理论说明的限制,但认为维生素D在很大程度上与矿物质代谢以及骨的生长和功能相关。已表明维生素D有效促进肠的钙吸收并刺激磷酸盐和镁离子的吸收。在无维生素D时,食用的钙不能被有效吸收。维生素D刺激多种与肠腔钙跨过上皮细胞并转运至血液相关的蛋白质的表达。
如本文所使用的,每份辅助物含有约0.000001g至1g维生素D。更优选地,每份辅助物含有约0.0000033g或132IU维生素D。
Calci-TriplexTM
Calci-TriplexTM为含有钙、碳酸钙、羟基柠檬酸钙(来自例如SuperCitriMax)和乳清矿物复合物(Whey Mineral Complex)(通常来自TruCalD50)的专有性膳食成分混合物。而且,Calci-TriplexTM还含有高钙乳源成分和其他对骨形成很重要的矿物质例如磷、镁、钾、锌、铜和铁。如本文所使用,每份辅助物含有约0.1g至约5g的Calci-TriplexTM。更优选地,每份辅助物含有约0.1g至约2g Calci-TriplexTM。

碳酸钙
碳酸钙(CaCO3)是无色即白色晶体化合物,以白垩、石灰石、大理石和其他形式天然存在,并在包括牙粉和药品在内的许多种制造品中均有应用。
虽然本发明并不受任何理论说明的限制,但认为钙吸收的增加对体重和体脂肪具有显著影响。研究表明较高的钙吸收的持续影响表现为体脂肪和/或体重减轻,中年期的体重增加的减少。具体而言,钙可帮助减肥、体重管理、调节代谢和分解脂肪。研究表明膳食钙的增加促进了体重减轻和脂肪减少。在对比试验中,高钙和低钙膳食均可导致明显的体重减轻和脂肪减少。高乳膳食的体重减轻和脂肪减少比低乳膳食的高约2倍(p<0.01),并且与低乳膳食相比无脂肪体重的减轻显著较少(p<0.001)。该研究旨在表明,在等热量膳食中使用高钙食物可减少肥胖非裔美国人的肥胖症并改善其代谢状况(Zemel et al.,2005)。另外,碳酸钙有助于钙缺乏症的预防和治疗,并由此有助于骨形成和保持。
此外,Zemel et al.,2005b还欲表明,以酸乳酪(乳制品)等热量地替代其他食物可显著减少能量限制时期的中心性肥胖,并由此增进脂肪减少。据称,通过利用对照受试者(400-500mg卡/天)或所含乳制品的主要营养被控制在美国平均值的酸乳酪膳食受试者(1100mg卡/天)得以证实这一点。12周后,酸乳酪组的脂肪的减少明显增加,酸乳酪组的平均组织减少也增加了31%。据称,还可观察到酸乳酪组躯体脂肪的减少与对照组相比有81%的提高,从而导致酸乳酪组的腰部直径减小(Zemel et al.,2005b)。此外,2004年,Zemel和他的同事欲表明,在24周的对照研究中,钙和乳制品的补充加速了脂肪的减少和体重的减轻。据报道,高乳膳食(1200-1300mg卡/天)的受试者的体重减轻比标准膳食(400-500mg卡/天)的受试者多70%,高钙但非乳品膳食的受试者的体重减轻比标准膳食的受试者多26%。因此,这项研究旨在表明钙的补充可使体重的减少显著增大,并且乳源钙的补充对体重减轻和脂肪减少具有明显更大的影响(Zemel et al.,2004)。

如本文所使用,每份辅助物含约0.01g至约10g碳酸钙。更优选地,每份辅助物含约0.05g至约2g碳酸钙。最优选地,每份辅助物含约0.558g碳酸钙。
磷
已知磷通过减少尿中损失的钙量而有助于保存钙。而且,对于骨,磷是磷酸钙的一部分,磷酸钙是骨形成的主要促进因素,从而导致产生强健的骨和牙(Graff,1999)。
尽管不希望拘囿于理论说明,但认为磷是控制钙排泄并由此导致体重减轻以及维持和产生坚固的骨和牙所需的。磷不存在时,钙更容易从尿中排泄。
如本文所使用,每份辅助物含约0.001g至约1g磷。更优选地,每份辅助物含约0.01g至约0.05g磷,通常来自如下所述的TruCal D50。
多聚烟酸铬(chromium polynicotinate)
铬可在葡萄糖代谢中发挥作用,并且是能量产生所必需的。由于该矿物有助于胰岛素的产生,因此它可帮助稳定血糖水平,并且对于低血糖和糖尿病病人均是有益的。它在胆固醇、脂肪和蛋白质的合成中也很重要。
多聚烟酸铬比其他类型的铬更为有效,因为它是元素铬与烟酸(维生素B-3)的结合,因此被称为烟酸结合型铬。它提供了一种生物活性形式的铬,这种铬在体内更易吸收。

钾
已知钾对钙的尿排泄有影响,因为它减少钙的排泄。钾的缺乏可表现出例如肌无力、精神上情感淡漠和骨脆性增加等症状(Groff,1999)。

A.TrimSourceTM
TrimSourceTM是含有来自例如Super CitriMax的柬埔寨藤黄提取物(标准化为60%(-)羟基柠檬酸)、匙羹藤提取物(标准化为25%匙羹藤酸)和葡萄皮提取物(标准化为20%原花色素)的专有性膳食成分混合物。如本文所使用,每份辅助物含约0.01g至约10g TrimSoureTM。更优选地,每份辅助物含约0.05g至约6g TrimSourceTM。
A.1.柬埔寨藤黄(羟基柠檬酸和/或各种盐)
根据本发明的各种实施方案,辅助性膳食组合物含单纯的柬埔寨藤黄或各种盐形式例如单盐、二盐、三盐或多盐形式的柬埔寨藤黄(标准化,但不限于例如50%、60%羟基柠檬酸)。有利地,这些成分可以以例如来自InterHealth N.I.的高浓度Super CitriMax(柬埔寨藤黄及其钙盐/钾盐)等形式提供,但不限于此。
Super CitriMax为用作膳食成分的全天然安全有效的植物提取物。Super CitriMax是从南亚果实柬埔寨藤黄中提取而得,它含有标准化水平的(-)羟基柠檬酸(HCA),临床上已表明(-)HCA可遏制食欲并抑制脂肪的产生,而且不刺激中枢神经系统。最近,研究人员表明,前述的TrimSourceTM中的临床浓度剂量的Super CitriMax可能是有助于减轻和/或维持体重的更有效的全天然膳食。
柬埔寨藤黄(Garcinia cambogia),也称为藤黄果(Garcinia cambogia)或山竹果油树,含有已知可抑制脂质和脂肪酸合成并减少低密度脂蛋白LDL和甘油三酯形成的生物活性化合物。柬埔寨藤黄还含有大量的维生素C。
虽然本发明不受任何理论说明的限制,但认为柬埔寨藤黄可抑制过剩的能量转化为身体脂肪,并且可帮助控制肥胖症和胆固醇。
此外,还可通过柬埔寨藤黄对糖原合成的促进作用来抑制食欲。糖原是葡萄糖的贮存形式,它是身体的主要能量来源之一。糖原产生和贮存的增多是身体向脑传递饱感信号的通常方式。
已有研究表明,在动物中,来自柬埔寨藤黄果的主要活性成分羟基柠檬酸有效抑制或控制食欲并抑制脂肪酸合成(产生)。
而且,在试验性研究中,不论是单独的(-)羟基柠檬酸还是它与烟酸结合型铬和匙羹藤组合,均发现HCA降低食欲、抑制脂肪合成并减轻体重,而且不刺激中枢神经系统(Preuss et al.,2004)。并且,在Preuss etal.,2004b的另一研究中,证实在中度肥胖的受试者中,单独的HCA或者它与匙羹藤和烟酸结合型铬组合均具有诱导体重减轻的作用。在8周的研究中,用HCA治疗的组或者用HCA与烟酸结合型铬和匙羹藤治疗的组表现出BMl和体重比对照组减少5-6%(Preuss at al.,2004b)。另外,两个治疗组的这些受试者还表现出LDL-胆固醇、甘油三酯和血清瘦素水平降低,但高密度脂蛋白和脂肪代谢物的尿排泄均增加(Preuss at al.,2004b)。这两个研究均表明单独的HCA或者HCA与匙羹藤和烟酸结合型铬的组合物可用作安全有效的减肥辅助物,并促进健康的血脂水平。

美国专利6,383,482公开了一种含有绿茶提取物、羟基柠檬酸、5-羟基色氨酸、葡甘露聚糖、吡啶甲酸铬和嗜酸乳杆菌(Lactobacillusacidophilus)的制剂,所述制剂用于通过增加代谢率、抑制食欲和帮助燃烧脂肪来减肥,该文献通过引用的方式全文纳入本文。
美国专利5,783,603公开了一种通过给予从藤黄果提取的钾盐形式的羟基柠檬酸来抑制食欲并使得体重减轻的方法,该文献通过引用的方式全文纳入本文。此外,还描述了抑制患者胞浆柠檬酸裂合酶和增加患者脂肪代谢的方法。
如本文所述的,每份辅助物含约0.01g至约10g柬埔寨藤黄。更优选地,每份辅助物含约0.05g至约2g柬埔寨藤黄。最优选地,每份辅助物含约1.55550g柬埔寨藤黄。柬埔寨藤黄的约60%可为羟基柠檬酸。
A.2.匙羹藤
TrimSourceTM中所含的匙羹藤(gymnema sylvestre),也称为Gurmar和Meshashringi,早前就已知它具有降血糖(降低血糖)的特性。该叶提取物含有匙羹藤酸,匙羹藤酸可抑制高血糖并可用作心血管的刺激物。

A.3.葡萄皮提取物
TrimSourceTM所含的葡萄皮提取物来源于葡萄皮,是存在于葡萄皮的纯低聚原花色素的浓缩物。葡萄皮富含原花色素类黄酮,原花色素类黄酮已被证实具有多种重要的生物化学特性,例如作为自由基清除剂,从而有助于抵抗血管损害和皮肤损害,抑制炎性酶并抑制组胺形成。葡萄皮提取物主要是用作抗氧化保健产品的辅助物。
虽然本发明不受任何理论说明的限制,但认为葡萄皮提取物可改善循环和毛细管活性,因为葡萄皮提取物含有可被快速吸收并分布于体内的黄酮素复合物和天然自由基清除剂。
已有研究表明葡萄皮提取物可与谷胱甘肽一起存储氧化的维生素C;可跨过血液屏障对脑和脊髓神经提供有效的抗氧化保护;可除去lipfuscin并预防它在脑和心脏中的形成,由此表现出抗衰老的益处;可与胶原纤维结合,由此增强肌肉、腱和韧带的弹性和柔性;并且可作为血管平滑肌的松弛剂以对抗高血压。此外,体外研究已表明,葡萄皮提取物的抗氧化能力可比维生素E强50倍,比维生素C强20倍。
如本文所使用的,每份辅助性膳食组合物优选含约0.01g至约5g葡萄皮提取物。更优选地,每份辅助性组合物含约0.05g至约2g葡萄皮提取物。最优选地,每份辅助性组合物含0.02g葡萄皮提取物。
B.SourceCalTM
SourceCalTM为含有无咖啡因的绿茶提取物(标准化为95%多酚[70%儿荼素(45%表棓儿茶素没食子酸酯(epigallocatechin gallate)、10%表儿茶素没食子酸酯、8%表棓儿茶素、4%表儿茶素、3%棓儿茶素没食子酸酯(gallocatechin gallate)-90mg EGCG)、乳清矿物复合物(通常来自还提供磷和钙源的TruCal)、西洋参(标准化为3%人参皂苷[作为西洋参(Panax quinquefolius)]和甘蔗脂肪醇的专有性膳食成分混合物。如本文所使用,每份辅助物含约0.001g至约5g SourceCalTM。更优选地,每份辅助物含约0.1g至约1g SourceCalTM。
B.1.无咖啡因的绿茶
SourceCalTM所含的绿茶(荼(camellia sinesis))为天然的高抗氧化剂源,并含有已知为多酚的天然抗氧化化合物。本文所使用的绿茶优选指45%的提取物,无咖啡因。
虽然本发明不受任何理论说明的限制,但认为绿茶提取物增加代谢率和增加脂肪氧化并降低食欲。已有研究表明,绿茶提取物使代谢率增加最高达4%,脂肪氧化的增加比使用安慰剂或咖啡因的受试者的高。此外,由绿茶提取物导致的代谢率和脂肪氧化的增加所产生的这种产热刺激不伴随心率增加。其他研究已发现,由于食欲降低,绿茶使得大鼠体重减轻最高达21%。每天注射绿茶提取物,7天后大鼠摄入食物减少最高达60%。
如本文所述,每份辅助物含约0.01g至约10g绿茶提取物。更优选地,每份辅助物含约0.05g至约2g绿茶提取物。最优选地,每份辅助物含约0.2g绿茶提取物。
B.2.人参
如本文所使用,SourceCalTM所含的人参优选指西洋参(Panaxquinquefolium L)或高丽参(人参(Panax Ginseng))或刺五加(Eleutherococcus senticosus)及其衍生物。最优选地,人参是指西洋参及其衍生物。
虽然本发明不受任何理论说明的限制,但认为人参刺激产生一氧化氮。
如本文所使用,每份辅助性膳食组合物优选含有约0.001g至约0.5g西洋参或高丽参。更优选地,每份辅助性组合物含有约0.01g至约0.1g西洋参。最优选地,每份辅助性组合物含0.01000g西洋参。
B.3.甘蔗脂肪醇
甘蔗脂肪醇是指一种独特的天然产物,一种来自甘蔗蜡的固体长链醇(蜡)的混合物。甘蔗脂肪醇中发现的长链醇在植物来源的许多食物中都存在。辅助性的甘蔗脂肪醇通常是从甘蔗蜡或蜂蜡中提取的。
虽然本发明不受任何理论说明的限制,但认为甘蔗脂肪醇可有效降低胆固醇水平。已有研究表明,甘蔗脂肪醇通过抑制血小板聚集和抑制动脉粥样硬化的发生而减少心脏的风险因素。此外,其他研究已表明,甘蔗脂肪醇是颇具前景的常规降脂药(例如抑制素)的植物化学替代物。
如本文所使用,每份辅助物含有约0.0001g至约5g甘蔗脂肪醇。更优选地,每份辅助物含有约0.0005g至约2g甘蔗脂肪醇。最优选地,每份辅助物含有约0.001g甘蔗脂肪醇。

Calci-TriplexTM
饭前(优选早饭、午饭和晚饭)约30至60分钟,用一杯8盎司的水服用一份3片胶囊形片剂的膳食辅助物,每天三次。4小时内不超过3片胶囊形片剂和/或24小时内不超过9片胶囊形片剂。为评价个体耐受性提供下表:

Claims (23)
1.一种可用于促进减肥、提供钙源和提供抗氧化剂中的至少一种的辅助性膳食组合物,所述组合物含有钙和/或钙盐和柬埔寨藤黄提取物的至少一种。
2.权利要求1的辅助性膳食组合物,其中所述钙为碳酸钙,并且柬埔寨藤黄被标准化为约60%羟基柠檬酸。
3.权利要求1的辅助性膳食组合物,还含有柬埔寨藤黄提取物、匙羹藤提取物和葡萄皮提取物中的至少一种。
4.权利要求1的辅助性膳食组合物,还包括含碳酸钙、羟基柠檬酸钙和羟基柠檬酸钾中的至少一种的柬埔寨藤黄的单盐、二盐、三盐或多盐。
5.权利要求1的辅助性膳食组合物,还含有碳酸钙、羟基柠檬酸钙和乳清矿物复合物。
6.权利要求1的辅助性膳食组合物,还含有多聚烟酸铬。
7.权利要求1的辅助性膳食组合物,还含有无咖啡因绿茶、西洋参、乳清矿物复合物和甘蔗脂肪醇中的至少一种。
8.权利要求1所述的辅助性膳食组合物,还含有维生素D。
9.权利要求1所述的辅助性膳食组合物,其中所述钙以能起到至少一种下列作用的有效量存在:提供优良的钙源、提供维生素D来源、增强身体燃烧脂肪的天然能力、帮助防止体重增加、提供抗氧化剂和促进快速减肥。
10.权利要求1的辅助性膳食组合物,其中所述辅助性膳食组合物包含一种定时释放送递系统,并且其中所述定时释放系统为速释、缓释和控释中的一种。
11.一种用于促进健康减肥、提供钙源和提供抗氧化剂中之一的方法,所述方法包括以下步骤:消化含有钙和钙盐的至少一种并且还含有一种抗氧化剂源的辅助性膳食组合物。
12.权利要求11的方法,其中所述钙为碳酸钙。
13.权利要求11的方法,所述辅助性膳食组合物还含有柬埔寨藤黄提取物、匙羹藤提取物和葡萄皮提取物中的至少一种。
14.权利要求11的方法,所述辅助性膳食组合物还包括含碳酸钙、羟基柠檬酸钙和羟基柠檬酸钾中的至少一种的柬埔寨藤黄的单盐、二盐、三盐或多盐。
15.权利要求11的方法,所述辅助性膳食组合物还含有碳酸钙、羟基柠檬酸钙和乳清矿物复合物。
16.权利要求11的方法,所述辅助性膳食组合物还含有多聚烟酸铬。
17.权利要求11的方法,所述辅助性膳食组合物还含有无咖啡因的绿茶、西洋参、乳清矿物复合物和甘蔗脂肪醇中的至少一种。
18.权利要求11的方法,所述辅助性膳食组合物还含有维生素D。
19.权利要求11的方法,其中所述钙以能起到至少一种下列作用的有效量存在:增强身体燃烧脂肪的天然能力、提供优良的钙源、提供维生素D、帮助防止体重增加、提供抗氧化剂和促进快速减肥。
20.权利要求11的方法,其中所述辅助性膳食组合物包含定时释放系统,并且其中所述定时释放系统为速释、缓释和控释中的一种。
21.一种辅助性膳食组合物,所述组合物含有:
三种钙和/或钙盐的来源、
柬埔寨藤黄提取物、
匙羹藤提取物、
葡萄皮提取物、
乳清矿物复合物、
多聚烟酸铬、
无咖啡因的绿茶、
西洋参、
维生素D和
甘蔗脂肪醇,
其中所述辅助性膳食组合物具有至少一种以下作用:提供100%的
人每天所需钙、增强身体燃烧脂肪的能力并保持无脂肪体重。
22.权利要求21的方法,其中所述柬埔寨藤黄提取物提供羟基柠檬酸。
23.权利要求21的方法,其中所述柬埔寨藤黄可为单盐、二盐、三盐或多盐并提供羟基柠檬酸。
