Abstract

发明背景和概述
用于许多类型饮料、食品、果汁、药物及类似应用的塑料封盖包括塑料外壳,所述外壳有一唇边,该唇边在邻近封盖外壳底壁并与所述外壳底壁的内侧表面间隔开的位置处从封盖侧缘径向上向内延伸。密封衬里在封盖底壁的内侧表面上原位压塑,同时唇边与压塑工具协同工作以便形成模腔。美国专利4984703和6660349示出这种类型的封盖。提出在衬里压塑工具中提供排气通道,以便当模制衬里时排出模腔中空气。然而,衬里压塑工具中的通道可能变堵塞或阻塞,同时妨碍模腔的合适排气并导致在衬里中夹带气泡。这也不希望有地增加了生产废品率并因此增加了生产封盖的成本。本发明的一般目的是提供一种封盖,其中衬里压塑模腔穿过封盖外壳排气而不是穿过模制工具排气,因而增加了从模腔中排气,同时减少或消除了在衬里中夹带气泡,并降低了封盖废品率和生产成本。
按照本发明一个方面所述的封盖外壳包括底壁、唇边、和至少一个通道,上述底壁具有用于固定到容器成品上的侧缘,上述唇边在邻近底壁并与所述底壁间隔开的位置处从侧缘径向上向内延伸,而上述通道贯穿唇边。在本发明的优选实施例中,通道取沟槽的形式,所述沟槽在唇边的径向上内边缘处和轴向上间隔开的表面处开口。沟槽优选的是具有一径向上向内的端面表面,所述端面表面在轴向上远离底壁和从侧缘径向上向内形成角度。唇边优选的是有一在轴向上面向远离底壁的表面,同时至少邻近径向上内边缘的部分是平坦的且垂直于侧缘的轴线。沟槽优选的是在轴向上面向唇边表面的这个平坦部分处开口。

优选实施例详细说明
图1示出一种包装10包括容器12和塑料封盖14,上述容器12用玻璃或塑料制成,而上述塑料封盖14固定到容器12成品上。封盖14优选的是利用封盖14上的一个或多个内螺纹(或螺纹段)与容器12成品上的一个或多个外螺纹(或螺纹段)啮合固定到容器12上。

密封衬里18贴着底壁20,并在底壁20和唇边24之间原位压塑。衬里18可以具有任何合适的构造,如在下述美国专利4984703,5306542,6371318,6399170和6660349其中任一个所公开的。图5是用于在外壳16内压塑衬里18的工具60的示意图。这种工具优选的是包括衬里尖头62,所述衬里尖头62滑动式安装在套筒组件64内。套筒组件64优选的是包括内套筒66和外套筒68,所述内套筒66和外套筒68与尖头62和封盖外壳16一起形成用于压塑衬里18的模腔70。排气沟槽72设置在套筒66、68之间。套筒68的下端面(按图5取向)接合唇边表面部分40和唇边24的径向上内边缘,以便闭合模腔70。唇边24中的排气沟槽44通向套筒68的下端面。在模制衬里18期间,将衬里材料的装料在退回模制工具60的情况下放在外壳16内。然后将模制工具移到外壳中,同时使套筒66,68进入图5所示的位置。然后将衬里尖头62进一步移入到外壳中,以便压缩衬里材料的装料,并使衬里材料向外流向模腔70的周围。被这个材料流置换出的空气可以穿过沟槽44并围绕套筒68径向上向外排气,以防在衬里内夹带空气形成气囊或气泡。

Claims (13)

5.如权利要求4所述的封盖外壳,其中上述唇边(24)有一轴向上远离上述底壁朝向的轴向上端面表面(38),所述轴向上端面表面(38)有至少一邻近上述唇边径向上内边缘的部分(40),所述部分(40)平坦且垂直于上述侧缘轴线,及其中上述至少一个沟槽在上述轴向上端面表面的平坦部分处开口。
6.如权利要求4所述的封盖外壳,其中上述至少一个沟槽有一径向上内端和径向上外端,上述径向上内端在上述轴向上端面表面的平坦部分处开口,而上述径向上外端在上述侧缘的径向上内表面处开口。
7.如权利要求4所述的封盖外壳,其中上述至少一个沟槽包括多个圆周上间隔开的沟槽。
8.封盖,包括如上述任一权利要求所述的封盖外壳,还包括衬里(18),所述衬里(18)贴着上述底壁,并在上述底壁与唇边之间原位压模塑,上述通道(44)在衬里压模塑期间排出空气。
9.一种制造封盖的方法,包括以下步骤:
(a)提供外壳(16),所述外壳(16)具有底壁(20)和唇边(24),上述底壁(20)带侧缘(22)用于固定到容器成品上,而上述唇边(24)在邻近上述底壁并与该底壁间隔开的位置处从上述侧缘径向上向内延伸,
(b)通过(b1)将衬里材料放入上述外壳内,(b2)使上述唇边与套筒(68)接合以形成模腔,及(b3)使衬里材料与尖头(64)接合,以迫使衬里材料在上述套筒下方和唇边下方在上述模腔内径向上向外,贴着上述底壁并在上述底壁和唇边之间压模塑密封衬里(18),
(c)在上述唇边中设置多个排气孔(44),以便在上述模腔内的空气可以在上述套筒的下方穿过上述排气孔逸出。
10.如权利要求9所述的方法,其中上述排气孔(44)包括若干沟槽,所述沟槽在上述唇边的径向上内边缘处和唇边的轴向上间隔开的表面处开口。
11.如权利要求10所述的方法,其中每个上述沟槽都有径向上向内的端面表面(46),所述径向上向内的端面表面(46)轴向上远离上述底壁和从上述侧缘径向上向内形成角度。
