La presente invención se relaciona a un método para preparar un intermediario para síntesis de inhibidor de xantina oxidasa y, más específicamente, a un método para preparar compuestos de las fórmulas químicas 2 y 4 al utilizar materiales de partida y ligandos de bajo precio y al emplear las técnicas de extracción quelante y purificación.
