Abstract

Las modalidades de la invención se refieren a un sistema de irrigación de subsuperficie configurado para operar en un modo que responde a la planta, y además configurado para hacer ciertas adaptaciones en respuesta al estrés vegetal. Las adaptaciones de estrés pueden incluir, por ejemplo, incrementar selectivamente la presión de fuente de fluido de irrigación, calentar o enfriar el fluido de irrigación, e/o inyectar enmiendas de fertilizante y/o no fertilizante en el fluido de irrigación.
