Method and device for degassing fuels containing bitumen. The present invention relates to a method and a device for degassing bituminous fuels. According to the method, while avoiding the effects of direct fire, the fuel is continuously fed mechanically through a tubular distillation kettle open on both sides with flowing, superheated steam.
As fuels to which the present invention can be applied, e.g. B. hard coal and lignite into consideration.
The drawing shows in Fig. 1 as an exemplary embodiment from a device for implementing the new method; Fig. 2 is a cross section of the still kettle.
In the drawing, A is a boiler built in the manner of a flame tube boiler. B and C are the nozzles attached to both ends, of which B is used for loading and C for emptying.
Through an insert tube D in the manner of the flame tubes, which is double-walled and perforated on the inner length, as well as braced against the boiler shell by supporting walls, endless fjords inevitably move - chains E, their C'alieder- F, F ', F, F3, ETC. designed as steam pistons and sealed against the cylinder wall of the charging and discharging nozzles B and C by labyrinth seals.
Since the link pistons all have the same diameter and are inevitably connected by the conveyor chain, complete pressure equalization occurs at all pressures and at all "positions of the chain, with the piston pulling force being transmitted through the chain.
The fuel to be degassed falls in a disintegrated and otherwise prepared state from the bunker G through the feed device H into the spaces between the link pistons of the conveyor chain, - then enters the feed nozzle B, which is advantageously equipped with jacket heating he on the temperature of the.
saturated distillation steam preheated; is and then passes through the insert tube D ;: which; just as its jacket is provided with numerous holes through which the steam can pass and come into intimate contact with the fuel. The superheated steam enters the boiler il through the nozzle J and flows through the pipe @ 71 again, after which it has given off its superheating heat to the fuel and deposited the by-products contained therein.
The liquid parts of the same and the condensate water flow as can be seen in the lower corner of the boiler from the insert pipes D into the gas water collecting boiler K, while the steam and gaseous parts flow off with your steam.
In the illustrated embodiment of the system, the superheated steam is conveyed by a steam jet fan J1 operated with steam of higher voltage in an uninterrupted and inevitable cycle through the distillation kettle A, the gas water collecting kettle K and a steam superheater P to increase the distillation steam and the gas water In addition to enriching products.
11T is the steam boiler to operate the steam jet fan 0, P is the steam superheater, Q is the furnace of the steam boiler and R is a feed water preheater to utilize the waste heat from the steam boiler.
The fuel, deprived of its bitumen, leaves the still A through the evacuation nozzle C, which is advantageously provided with a cooling jacket, and is stripped off the upper chain wheel L and poured into the bunker 1 <1 for further use.
The distillation products are separated from the gas water and the distillation steam in a known manner and processed further.
The regulation of the steam temperature and the steam pressure required for degassing the fuel takes place with the known means of the steam boiler operation.
The temperature of the superheated distillation steam, like its pressure, depends on the chemical composition of the starting fuel, which also determines the type and percentage of the distillates to be obtained.
At the top, the temperature and pressure of the steam are limited by the durability and service life of the building material used for the boiler and superheater. With the most extensive use of the known protective means, such as the connection of boiler heating surfaces in contact with water, refractory stones,
Use of fire-resistant cast iron and the like can be reached at a maximum temperature of the heating gases of 700-800 when entering the superheater to a maximum temperature of the steam of 500-600 'when exiting the superheater, but this is usually the case in practical operations To avoid undesired decomposition of the distillates, be satisfied with the steam temperatures of 300-400 that have been tried and tested in power operation.
Light and heavy mineral oil distillates, which are to be processed into fuel oils, fuel oils and lubricating oils, are obtained as the main product in the process according to the invention.
The device described represents an exemplary embodiment which is intended to show how the invention can be implemented ver. It can be replaced by similar designs, which allow the implementation of the present method with equivalent means.
