Description

Technical field of the invention
The present invention relates to an apparatus and a corresponding method for cleaning containers with an opening, in particular barrels. Are known container interior cleaner, which is inserted into an interior of the container by means of at least one fluid jet impinging on inner surfaces, this being used in the cleaning of wooden wine barrels preferably neutral water without additives. Such devices generally comprise a pressure line which extends from a water inlet of the device through it to a nozzle area of the device having at least one nozzle hole. As a result, water emerging from the nozzle hole inside the container to be cleaned can be blasted on its inner surfaces in order to mechanically radiate away the contaminants adhering to them and / or gradually dissolve or detach them from the inner surfaces. The water bouncing off, dripping off or draining off from the inner walls carries these impurities with them and ultimately collects them at the deepest point of the container. From there, the water, including impurities, exits via an outlet arranged at the lowest point of the container, in particular the bunghole, or is suctioned off from there.
Wooden barrels are used for the maturation of wine, spirits and some foods in different sizes, usually in an order of magnitude between 200 I and 600 I and thus difficult to move manually due to the weight. These barrels have a relatively small opening at the bung hole and a relatively large internal volume, so that manual cleaning of such barrels is not possible. Typically, a high-pressure spray head is inserted from the bottom into a lying barrel with its opening arranged at the deepest point, and the spray fluid flows out of the lying barrel through this opening. The heavy drum must first be brought into a suitable position, for which appropriate manual or automatic positioning units are known.
From WO 2018/141008, for example, a cleaning device for barrels is known, in which a barrel is raised by means of a type of manually operated lifting device. The barrel can be picked up between rollers in a lying position and centered thanks to the shape of the rollers. The raised and picked up barrel is rotated, whereby the rotary movement brings a cleaning head, which is provided on a slide that is arranged on the barrel cleaning device, into engagement with the bung hole arranged on the barrel and is moved in such a way that in the cleaning position the cleaning head from below into the barrel interior protrudes and is brought into a largely vertical orientation.
Summary of the invention
This invention has for its object to simplify and improve the cleaning of containers with an opening, in particular of barrels or tanks, wherein the handling for operators is safer and easier. The containers can also be disinfected with gaseous substances safely and with little effort.
To achieve the object, a cleaning device according to claim 1 and a method according to claim 11 are provided.
The device for cleaning a container with an opening, in particular a barrel, also referred to as a cleaning device, according to the invention comprises a support structure, a receiving area with a roller arrangement for receiving a container to be cleaned and an interior cleaner with a nozzle area, the interior cleaner via a Fluid paths can be loaded with fluid and inserted into the opening of the container to be cleaned. The interior cleaner is designed for supplying fluids, in particular cleaning and rinsing fluid or a gaseous fluid into the interior of the container to be cleaned and preferably for removing the fluid from the container. The internal cleaner known per se has a multi-part arrangement, at least one fluid path being included along a fluid supply line between a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet designed as a nozzle region. The fluid inlet is designed in such a way that a fluid source can be connected, which provides a fluid pressure and a fluid throughput. A compressor can be used as the fluid source, which compresses fluid originating from or stored in a water network and supplies it to the interior cleaner with a certain pressure. It is advantageously provided that the fluid path includes a fluid drain for discharging fluid from the container in addition to the fluid feed. Furthermore, a separate feed line for gaseous fluid can be provided, for example steam or gases suitable for disinfection.
The internal cleaner preferably comprises a suction device, which makes it possible to extract fluid, in particular from the deepest point of the container via the fluid drain, as well as the components of any surface deposits that may be detached by the fluid from the inner surfaces of the container to be cleaned. Here, the suction device can be arranged parallel to a head section of the interior cleaner as a separate suction pipe, which can be inserted into the opening of the bung hole with the latter. The suction pipe can thus be designed as a flexible hose line which provides the fluid drainage. The suction device is connected to the suction side of a pump in order to carry out the emptying of the cleaned container due to the negative pressure present. Accordingly, time-optimized emptying is possible.
Preferably, the suction device can be designed in the form of an axially displaceably received tube in the head section of the interior cleaner with a suction opening provided on the outer end section, which can be moved into a position at the lowest point of the container in the cleaning position. The suction device can be partially adjustable in length, with telescoping tubes being provided. The axially displaceable tubes are mounted one inside the other with radial play for jamming-free movement, the radial play being closable by a sealing means. Accordingly, the suction device can be placed at the lowest point in the container. An emptying is also conceivable in which compressed air is applied to the interior of the cleaned drum and the fluid is expelled from a correspondingly oriented opening.

According to the invention it is provided in one embodiment of the device that the interior cleaner is releasably attached to a holding arm that is vertically movable along the support structure.
