Abstract

[0005] Die Füllung dieser Kopf- und Stützkissen wird mit einer Kissenfassung umgeben. Ein Materialbestandteil der Kissenfüllung sind Arvenholzspäne. Diese werden so produziert, dass Arvenholz mit speziellen Messern während dem Drechselvorgang in feine Späne geschnitten (nicht geschabt!) wird. Dadurch werden die Späne in eine feine Lockenform gebracht. Länge und Dicke dieser gelockten Späne variiert. Die Arvenholzspäne bilden sich während der Produktion zu federnd-elastischen und luftigvoluminösen Knäueln. Mit der Spanproduktion wird neben der beschriebenen Formgebung zudem die Oberfläche des Holzes um ein x-faches vergrössert, was bewirkt, dass die ätherischen Harze - welche den typische Arvenduft ausmachen - sich wesentlich besser entfalten und so gut eingeatmet werden können. Diese ätherischen Stoffe bewirken bei den Kopf- und Stützkissen einen erhöhten Erholungswert während des Schlafs oder beim Ausruhen. Dies wird umfangreich dargestellt im wissenschaftlichen Endbericht (Oktober 2003, 47 Seiten) zur «Evaluation der Auswirkungen eines Zirbenholzumfeldes [Arve wird im östreichischen Sprachraum Zirbe genannt; lat.: pinus cembra] auf Kreislauf, Schlaf, Befinden und vegetative Regulation» des Forschungsprojekts «1. Belastungsfähigkeit und Einrichtung, 2. Schlafqualität und Bettenmaterial» von Univ. Prof. Dr. Maximilian Moser, JOANNEUM RESEARCH Institut für Nichtinvasive Diagnostik, Weiz (A). Die wesentlichen Eigenschaften von Arvenholz, werden wie folgt beschrieben: «Signifikanter Unterschied in der Erholungsqualität zwischen Zirbenholzzimmer und identisch gestaltetem Holzdekorzimmer» (Seite 4. des Endberichts, Okt. 2003). Bei beiden Geschlechter wurde längerfristig kein Unterschied ausgemacht (ebenda Seiten 33, 36, 44). Eine Wetterfühligkeit (Zeichen instabilen Kreislaufes) wurde im Zirbenraum nicht beobachtet, jedoch im Holzzimmer (ebenda Seite 33). Von den Probanden wurde die «soziale Extravertiertheit» mit folgenden Befindensdimensionen umschrieben: «Redselig, gesellig, mitteilsam, kontaktfreudig, ungehemmt». (Übertragen wir diese positiven Wirkungen von Arvenholz auf die Ehepaare, sei die Hypothese erlaubt, dass Schlafkissen mit der hier beschriebenen Kissenfüllung zu einer glücklichen Beziehung zwischen Paaren beitragen könnten, was jedoch noch wissenschaftlich zu untersuchen wäre.) [Wissenschaftlich untersuchte Ergebnisse analog derer beim Arvenholz liegen z.Z. meines Wissens noch nicht vor, hingegen werden in der Literatur immer wieder die oben aufgeführten Eigenschaften<2> beschrieben resp. Hervorgehoben.] – Hirsespreu hat positive Auswirkungen bei: - Verspannungen des Nackens - Kopfschmerzen und Migräne - Verkrampfungen und Rückenschmerzen - Schlaflosigkeit und Nervosität - Rheuma - Leberbeschwerden - Asthmatische und sonstige allergische Beschwerden – Hirse ist ein Urgetreide und zählt zu der grossen Familie der Gräser. Die Hirsepflanze nimmt viele Mineralien wie Magnesium, Eisen, Mangan, Kupfer, Kieselsäure sowie eine grosse Menge an B-Vitaminen auf. U.a. hilft Vitamin B bei nervlicher Belastung (Stress). Hirsespreu verwendeten schon unsere Urgrossmütter, wenn ihre Kinder unruhig waren und nicht einschlafen konnten. – Hirsespreu kann die organeigenen Schwingung anregen und Stauungen sowie Blockaden lösen. Die Wirkung entsteht daraus, dass das hier erscheinende Mineral - der hohe Anteil an Kieselsäure - durchlässig ist für Wärme und Licht. Hirsespreu fördert die schnelle Regeneration, da die Kieselsäure durch die Wirkung auf die Muskeln zu einer schnellen Entspannung führt. Der Entspannungseffekt wird durch Wärme gefördert. Die Kissen speichern rasch die Körperwärme. – Hirsespreu ist atmungsaktiv, im Sommer wird die Füllung nicht zu warm, im Winter nicht zu kalt. Eine weitere spezielle Eigenschaft der Kopf-und Stützkissen mit der Füllung von Arvenholzspänen und Hirsespreu liegt darin, dass die kleinen, glatten Spreuschalen die Zwischenräume im Arvenholzspangemenge selbstständig das verbleibende Luftvolumen auffüllen. Diese Eigenschaft hat zur Folge, dass die Holzspäne lange ihre Form beibehalten; der federnd-elastische Charakter tritt in den Hintergrund zu Gunsten einer sehr guten stützenden Eigenschaft, die auch ein reines Hirsespreukissen nicht zu erzielen vermag («schwimmender Hirseuntergrund»); die lockigen Späne «bremsen» die Spreumasse. Die Kopf- und Stützkissen können einfach und schnell in eine gewünschte Form (z.B. für Kopf und Nacken) gebracht werden. Durch diese Trägheit dieser Füllung wird die Lage sanft beibehalten. In unserem Beispiel liegen Wirbelsäule und Nacken in einer Geraden, was die Halswirbelsäule stützt und einen ruhigen Schlaf und ein entspanntes Aufwachen begünstigt.
