The present invention relates to a window or a glazed door.
Windows or glazed doors, such as balcony doors, consist of a frame profile, i.e. from a frame that is composed of mitred profiles. On this the wing profile is mounted, which in turn consists of profiles connected to a frame-like construction. For example, in the widely used plastic windows, the sash and frame profiles are hollow profiles of considerable cross-section, especially since they both have to accommodate the fittings and closures and also have to meet minimum requirements with regard to heat and sound insulation. In addition, reinforcements are usually to be provided inside for structural reasons. In the case of metal windows, the profile dimensions are increased by insulating profiles that prevent cold bridges.
As a result of these expansive profile constructions, the glazed area of the respective building opening is reduced considerably, so that both the incidence of light is reduced and the view is reduced. This is particularly the case with the double or multi-leaf windows almost always used in residential buildings.
The object of the invention is therefore to create a window or a glazed door in which both the incidence of light and the view are improved.
The window according to the invention or the glazed door corresponds to the characterizing features of patent claim 1. Further advantageous developments emerge from the dependent patent claims.
A preferred embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is described in more detail below with reference to the drawing. Fig. 1 shows the wing of the window resting on the frame in section; Fig. 2 shows the area of two abutting window sashes, also in section.
In the illustration according to FIG. 1, the outside of the building is on the left and the inside of the building on the right. The frame profile 1 of the window or door in the present example consists of a hollow profile made of plastic. The frame profile 1 can also be shaped differently and / or made of a different material. The wing 2 is decisive for the invention. This essentially consists only of the glazing 3, which is designed here as insulating glazing with three glass panes 4, 5 and 6. The usual wing profile is saved. The three glass panes 4-6 are dimensioned differently in terms of their external dimensions. This results in the sash rebate, the outer glass pane 4 resting against the sash rib 7 of the frame profile 1 or against a seal 8 arranged thereon.
The middle glass pane 5 rests in the same way on a second seal 9. The third, inner glass pane 6 protrudes a little over the inside 10, i.e. the side of the frame profile 1 facing the building. A third seal 11 is provided here. Between the three glass panes 4-6, a spacer 12 or 13, which also serves as a seal, is arranged in a known manner. Between the staggered, outer ends 14 and 15 of the middle and inner glass panes 5 and 6 there is an intermediate profile 16 which serves as reinforcement and a mounting base for a fitting or for a closure part. A fixed locking element 17 is screwed onto this in the present drawing.
In the direction of the interior of the building, a movable locking element 18, which is mounted on the frame profile 1, engages behind the fixed locking element 17. The movable locking element 18 belongs to a lock 19 embedded in the fold of the frame profile 1. This is preferably electrically driven and connected to a switch, not shown here. The switch can either be arranged on the frame profile 1 at the factory or installed separately during the window assembly process, be it on the wall next to the window or at another suitable location. In this embodiment, the movable locking element 18 can therefore be moved back and forth at the push of a button.
The wing 2 can be pulled into the open position by reaching behind the outer end 15 of the inner glass pane 6 or, if appropriate, by means of a small handle mounted in the area of the intermediate profile 16 through this glass pane. It is also conceivable to provide a grip strip which engages around the end 15 of the inner glass pane 6. The loss of light in this window or door - as can be seen from dimension x - is extremely small.
By dispensing with the otherwise existing sash profile and providing the sash rebate and the closure arrangement as proposed, the clear width of the building opening is reduced to an insignificant extent without any disadvantages being accepted, in particular the thermal and / or acoustic insulation is in no way deteriorated , especially since the frame or the sash profile, which is not available here, is to be regarded as a weak point in a window and has a significantly poorer K value than the insulating glazing 3.
The area of two adjoining sashes 2 and 20 of a two- or multi-sash window is designed in accordance with FIG. 2 in such a way that the oppositely graded glazing 3 or 3a results in two opposite sash rebates. For this purpose, the most advanced glass pane 4a of one wing 20 is opposed to the shorter glass pane 4 of the second wing 2. On the inside, on the other hand, the glass pane 6a of one wing 20 is shorter than that of the second wing 2. A gain in light is also achieved here, see the dimension y. If the two wings 2 and 20 were each provided with a wing profile, the dimension y would be significantly larger. Last but not least, the omission of the wing profiles also results in material savings.
In addition to the usual spacers 12 and 13, intermediate profiles 16 are also provided on the glazing 3 and 3a, as are seals 8, 9 and 11. The locking points of the closures of both wings 2 and 20 are located if the closure is arranged on the frame profile is on the top and bottom of the frame profile. However, a closure arrangement on the wings 2 or 20 is also possible. In both cases, the closure can also be electrically driven and can do without disruptive connecting rods.
It is within the scope of the invention to design the window or the door in a different way than described above and shown in the drawings, in particular a differently shaped frame profile 1 can be used. Although the triple glazing proposed here is preferable in terms of tight sealing and achieving a good insulation value, both the number of panes of glazing 3 and 3a and their material can of course be changed. In addition, the electrical closure mentioned can also be designed to be electromagnetic.
