- nella fig. 1 una vista prospettica in trasparenza del dispositivo secondo l'invenzione in una sua realizzazione generica in cui non collegato a nessuna particolare apparecchiatura;
- nella fig. 2 una vista prospettica in trasparenza del dispositivo utilizzato come gruppo di alimentazione per una macchina lavatrice ad azionamento idraulico;
The present invention relates to the field of devices for dispensing water mixed with water-soluble substances such as detergents, disinfectants, descaling agents, etc.
Known devices normally comprise electrically or electromechanically operated parts or parts, and involve relatively high costs.
A drawback that is also encountered in the use of the devices according to the current state of the art is that of the need to have an electrical power supply for their operation, which is why they cannot be installed and used in areas that do not have of that service.
Finally, a further drawback caused by the fact that these devices necessarily entail, increasingly with their continued use over the years, an objective risk for users caused by the concomitant presence of wires or other elements traversed by electric current arranged close to the water supplied.
This risk is also increased due to the potential aggressive chemical action of the water-soluble substances dissolved in the water, which in the long run can cause the degradation of the action of the insulating materials constituting sheaths or protective coatings.
To avoid all the drawbacks listed above, the inventor of the present invention has devised a dispensing device that works exclusively by virtue of its connection to the water network of the place where it is installed.
More specifically, the object of the present invention consists of an automatic device for dispensing water at a predetermined temperature mixed with a desired quantity of water-soluble fluid substances as described in the preamble of the attached claim 1, characterized by the characterizing part of the same claim.
The device according to the present invention can be used for the most varied uses, depending on its location and the type of water-soluble substances that are used.
It can also be used alone, as a simple dispenser, or it can be used as a feeding group for washing or sanitizing machines hydraulically operated only by the flow of water that passes through them without the aid of electric organs.
In the description of the device according to the invention which will be carried out below, some embodiments will be illustrated in more detail, which are not to be considered as limiting or binding with respect to other possible embodiments obtained by referring to what is expressed in the attached claim 1.
During the above description, reference will also be made to the attached drawings, which represent:
- in fig. 1 a perspective perspective view of the device according to the invention in a generic embodiment wherein it is not connected to any particular apparatus;
- in fig. 2 is a perspective view in transparency of the device used as a feeding unit for a hydraulically operated washing machine;
- in fig. 3 is a plan view of an impeller operated by the device of fig. 2 and housed in a hollow body that acts as a base for a hydraulically operated washing machine.
Considering fig. 1 shows how the device 1 first of all has a tank 16 containing the water-soluble substance to be mixed with the water.
The device connected to the cold and hot water circuits, respectively represented by arrows A and B, which flow into a mixer tap 3 of known type which mixes the flows so that the final temperature of the water introduced into the device has the desired temperature .
This water is sent through a first channel 5 (arrow C) to an accumulation and distribution chamber 6 and then from there (see arrows D and G) to a volumetric pump 2 with membrane 9 and a contrast spring 10 of known type.
The pressure exerted by the flow of water on the membrane 9 causes the ejection of the water-soluble substance contained in the pump 2 and its escape, through a first one-way valve 29, represented in a generic way in fig. 1, from a fitting 28 from which it reaches the user through a tube (not shown), while, when the water flow ceases, the contrast spring 10 presses the membrane 9 in the opposite direction, recalling by depression a predetermined quantity of the water-soluble substance of tank 16 which contains it, loading pump 2 for the next cycle.
(The initial priming of the pump can be carried out manually according to known methods by means of a pressing member 11).
The suction of said substance from the tank takes place through a nozzle 13, connected to a second one-way valve 30 indicated only generically in the figure, to which a dip tube (22 fig. 2) connected to the tank 16 is connected.
Before proceeding further in the description of the circuit of the device, it should be noted that between the said mixer 3 and the pump 2 applied a closing member (not visible in the drawing) which allows the water to flow for a predetermined time upon command of a mechanical timer device of a known type.
It allows us to perform operating cycles with the most appropriate duration and methods.
Proceeding in the description of the relative fig. 1, it can be seen how the water, after having reached the pump 2 through a second conduit 7, passes through it, activating it, and then proceeds to an outlet fitting 14 (arrow H), being able from there to be then directed to the user by means of a other tube (scorned with arrow 1) that is connected to said outlet fitting 14.
The two pipes mentioned above which convey the water and the water-soluble substance towards the user are then arranged with the free ends next to each other and are associated with each other in different ways according to the type of application so as to cause the mixing of the water with the said substance.
In fig. 2 shows an embodiment of the association between the free ends 21e, 20e of the water-soluble adduction tube 21 and the water adduction tube 20 respectively.
In this case, the device used as a feeding group for a hydraulically operated washing machine (not shown), and the two free ends 20e, 21 and of the tubes 20 and 21 flow into a mixing chamber 23 so that the water-soluble substances ( in this case, detergent substances) coming out of the tube 21 are sucked in by the water which comes out of the tube 20 due to the depression generated by its flow rate.
For this particular use, the inventor has provided for fixing the two ends 20e, 21e of the tubes 20, 21 and the aforementioned mixing chamber 23 on a hollow body 24, suitably shaped so as to act as a base for the washing machine and to contain inside an impeller 25 (figs. 2 and 3) which is activated by the pressure of the water flow mixed with the detergent substances. If the said impeller 25 is connected in rotation to a distributor member 26 of the washing machine, the latter rotates, distributing the mixture of water and detergent on the objects to be washed via the nozzles 27, which reaches these nozzles with a residual overpressure.
This has resulted in the automatic feeding and actuation of a hydraulic washing machine, with a simple, inexpensive and extremely long-lasting device.
As mentioned, the device can also be used in a different way: for example in the case of occasional disinfection of the user's hands or the tools he uses, the device itself can simply be applied, for example, on a sink surface after being connected to the water network.
In this case, the ends 20e, 21e of the water and disinfectant pipes can be mounted, side by side, on the edge of an open-air mixing tank from which the two substances can be taken, after they have mixed, with an outlet pipe equipped with a tap. (The case has not been shown as it is of immediate understanding for a technician in the field).
A further measure envisaged by the inventor consists in applying to the device a water delivery spout 31, equipped with a manual tap 4 and connected to a branch or an extension of the duct 5 which conveys the water from the mixer 3 towards the pump 2 .
In this way it is possible to have pure water for accessory uses such as washes, etc., which flows into said spout 31 (arrow F) and from here to the outside (arrow L).
Other embodiments other than those described and illustrated, but carried out according to the teachings contained in claim 1, are however included in the scope of the protection of the present patent application.
