Abstract

Acoustic and/or optical signals are generated at regular or irregular intervals. The scores may be maintained in operation for a timed interval after the vehicle engine is switched off. Pref. the temp. of the engine and the cooling system are monitored by a temp. sensor which maintains the scores in operation until they reach the ambient temp. level. The time interval between the acoustic and/or optical signals is pref. selected manually via a variable clock source. USE - Preventing nesting of martens to protect rubber parts, e.g. tubing from pecking.

   BESCHREIBUNG



   Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Tierabschreckungsgerät für Motorfahrzeuge, das im Motorraum eingebaut werden kann und akustische und/oder optische Signale abgibt.



   Es ist bekannt. dass durch regelmässige oder unregelmässige Geräusche und/oder optische Signale Wildtiere verscheucht und damit davon abgehalten werden, Schaden anzurichten.



   Die vorliegende Erfindung bezweckt, die damit ausgerüsteten Motorfahrzeuge vor Schäden an Gummiteilen wie Kühlerschläuche etc. zu schützen, die durch den Verbiss durch Marder angerichtet werden. Gelöst wird diese Aufgabe durch ein mit den im Kennzeichen des Anspruchs 1 aufgeführten Merkmalen versehenes Gerät.



   Bei der erfindungsgemässen Anordnung des elektronischen Taktgebers in Kombination mit akustischen und optischen Signalen wird eine Gewöhnung der Tiere an die Abschreckungssignale dadurch verhindert, dass der Rhythmus der Signale verändert werden kann oder sich laufend automatisch verändert.



   Das Tierabschreckungsgerät besteht aus einem elektronischen Taktgeber mit von Hand regulierbaren oder automatisch ständig wechselnden Intervallzeiten, nach denen jeweils ein kürzeres oder längeres akustisches und/oder optisches Signal abgegeben wird.



   Das Gerät schaltet sich automatisch bei abgeschalteter Zündung ein und bleibt entweder dauernd eingeschaltet oder schaltet sich nach einer vorprogrammierbaren Zeit selbsttätig aus oder wird über den Thermofühler in Abhängigkeit des Verhältnisses von Motor zu Umgebungstemperatur abgeschaltet.

   The present invention aims to protect the motor vehicles equipped therewith against damage to rubber parts such as radiator hoses, etc., which are caused by the marten by the bite. This object is achieved by a device provided with the features listed in the characterizing part of claim 1.



   In the arrangement of the electronic clock generator in accordance with the invention in combination with acoustic and optical signals, habituation of the animals to the deterrent signals is prevented by the fact that the rhythm of the signals can be changed or continuously changes automatically.



   The animal deterrent consists of an electronic clock with manually adjustable or automatically constantly changing interval times, after which a shorter or longer acoustic and / or optical signal is emitted.



   The device switches on automatically when the ignition is switched off and either remains switched on continuously or switches off automatically after a pre-programmable time or is switched off via the thermal sensor depending on the ratio of engine to ambient temperature.
