PATENTANSPRUCH II
Fig. 2 zeigt einen Schnitt in grösserem Massstab nach Linie ll-ll in Fig. 1. ohne Nahe.

1. Mill according to claim 1. characterized in that the holder has a U-profile for receiving an edge of the wing and a pin engaging in a bore of the hub.
2. Mill according to subclaim 1. characterized in that the wing is screwed to the U-profile.
3. Mill according to claim 1, characterized in that the wings consist of ceramic, or are clad with such.
4. Mill according to dependent claim 3, characterized in that the vessel of the mill consists of ceramic or is lined with such.
PATENT CLAIM II
Use of the agitator mill according to claim I for the production of colloids, characterized in that the blades are adjusted to the axial conveying effect and the material is processed in the vessel of the agitator mill without the addition of paint bodies.
The patent claim I of the main patent relates to an agitator mill with grinding propellers rotating in a vessel.
whose wings have an axial conveying effect. for grinding a material to be treated, at least one grinding propeller having adjustable and exchangeable blades. In a preferred embodiment according to the main patent, wings which can be pivoted and locked are provided, the axial conveying effect of which can be adjusted.
It has now been shown that axially conveying discs. blades of such disks, in particular adjustable in inclination against the axis of the mill. are subject to particularly heavy wear. The present invention is based on the object of constructing the stirring disks in such a way that only relatively simple and inexpensive parts are exposed to wear and that these parts are also easily replaceable, it also being economically possible to make these simple parts from a particularly abrasion-resistant material, for example ceramics.
to manufacture. At the same time, it is also possible to manufacture the particularly high abrasion parts from one material. that is compatible with the goods to be treated, i.e. does not cause any changes in taste, for example when processing food or luxury foods.
The agitator mill according to the invention is characterized. that the wings are fixed in a holder.
which is pivotally and lockably held in the hub. It has been shown that such a holder, which can consist of steel and which has a relatively low peripheral speed. experiences practically no abrasion. Only the outer parts of the wings, which have a much higher rotational speed. are subject to considerable abrasion unless special materials are used to avoid excessive wear.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the design and attachment of a wing on a hub of the agitator mill.
Fig. 1 shows the wing in side view with the hub partially in section. and
Fig. 2 shows a section on a larger scale along the line II-II in Fig. 1. without close.
A hub 2 is attached to the axis 1 of the agitator mill. what z. B. by means of a screw 3 'inserted into the threaded hole 3'. The vicinity 2 has four holes 4. in which a pin 5 of a holder can be inserted. With the pin 5, a U-profile 6 is welded ver. and parts 5 and 6 together form a holder. The pin 5 has an annular groove 7. in which a locking screw 8 engages and secures the holder against rotation and axial displacement. The screw 8 is seated in a threaded bore lying transverse to the bore 4. An O-ring 51 prevents solid particles from entering the bore 4.
In the U-profile 6, the inner edge of a grinding wheel 9 grips the z. B. consists of ceramic. but can also consist of any other suitable material such as plastic, etc. A reinforcement 10 can be molded into the wing 9. Both the outward legs of the U-profile 6 as well as the wing 9 and its reinforcement 10 each have two holes. through which fastening screws 11 protrude and secure the sash to the holder. As mentioned. it showed. that significant signs of wear only appear in a zone outside the holder. e.g. B. in Fig. 1 outside the dash-dotted line 12, occur. The keeper. a relatively complicated and expensive part. thus experiences practically no wear and therefore has a very long service life.
On the other hand, the holder can consist of a material that is favorable for its manufacture and its function. since it experiences practically no abrasion, the abraded particles cannot have a significant adverse effect on the treated goods. In contrast, the wing 9 exposed to wear are designed as very simple, flat parts. which can often be replaced without high costs. At the same time, the simple shape of the wings also allows them to be made from largely any materials. especially hard materials and / or such. who get along very well with the goods to be treated. It can be ceramic materials. Sintered materials and the like are used, which are very hard and abrasion-resistant and their abrasion even in the treatment of food and beverages. e.g. B. chocolate, do not disturb.
However, these beneficial effects only come into their own. if the vessel of the mill is made of an appropriate material, e.g. B. ceramic, or is lined with such. since the vessel is also subject to considerable abrasion.
A decisive contribution to reducing the abrasion and at the same time to avoid the addition of finely ground foreign substances to the treated material is also possible with an agitator mill with axially conveying blades. that you can work without grinding media. It was found that with an intensive grinding action with vanes with an axial conveying action, even without a grinding element in the treatment vessel, such a high grinding action can be achieved that the treatment takes place within a reasonable time.
The wings are flat. simple shape on. but that does not rule out. that they run unevenly. to achieve certain hydrodynamic effects.
To keep the wear on the wing holder even lower. it can be particularly difficult. Spacer sleeves with flat surfaces between the winged agitator discs.
to provide radially standing flanges. which have an additional stirring and entraining effect for the grinding media. The surprising finding was made. that this measure can significantly reduce the wear on the holder and in particular its screws.
