Fig. 1 einen Brückenquerschnitt, Fig. 2 den Aufbau von Isolation und Belag.

**WARNUNG** Ende DESC Feld konnte Anfang CLMS uberlappen**.
The invention relates to a bridge insulation using a plastic film with a protective layer, arranged directly under the road surface. As a result of the use of salt in road maintenance, it is now common practice to protect road bridge structures against water ingress. This is done with an insulation installed under the road surface.
This insulation has to fulfill two tasks: - It serves as a moisture barrier.
- It has to be caused by the rolling traffic
Transferring shear forces from the road surface to the bridge structure.
In order to guarantee the transmission of thrust, the insulation laid directly under the road surface has been glued to the concrete slab of the bridge until today. Such a bond has the following disadvantages: It is not sufficiently shear-resistant at high temperatures.
- When the insulation is normally present, vapor bubbles develop when the insulation is applied.
The invention eliminates the disadvantages in that the plastic film is not glued to the protective layer above and the bridge structure below, but is mechanically clawed for the purpose of transmitting the shear force between the road surface and the bridge structure. If the plastic film is not glued, the vapor generated by the moisture can escape from the side.
The clawing between the insulation and the road surface is expediently created by using a film that is ribbed on the top.
Achievable advantages: - The insulation can be pre-assembled over a large area and thus installed quickly and efficiently.
- Thanks to the non-glued plastic film, there is no
Risk of damage or impairment of the
Isolation and the road surface by vapor bubbles, as these can spread under the insulation.
- When laying the insulation, there are no high demands on the dryness of the concrete structure.
- The coefficient of friction and thus the shear force transmission between the road surface and the bridge structure is constant within the temperature limits that occur in practice.
An exemplary embodiment is described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Show it:
1 shows a bridge cross-section, FIG. 2 shows the structure of insulation and covering.
Laying a 2 mm thick, bitumen-resistant soft PVC film with ribs on the top 2.
This is made in the factory from tracks to sections of z. B.
400 m2 size welded. The sections are laid out on the bridge structure 1 and welded together. The insulation 2 is with a z. B. 2.5 cm thick protective layer 3, consisting of a hot applied, granular, bitumen-bound material covered.
The protective layer is compacted with a vibrator, from the middle of the lane towards the edge of the lane, so that the steam and the air generated under the insulation are pushed outwards.
The road surface 4 of the roadway 5 is then applied.
The PVC film becomes soft due to the heat of the hot protective layer 3. When vibrating, the protective layer 3 is pressed into the ribs of the film and the film into the unevenness of the concrete base, which creates the claws.
The thrust friction coefficient achieved with this construction is approx. 1.
